I was wondering why you can’t hide the title on a page. I have another of your themes and one click of the mouse and its done, not with Marni.

I really love this theme and I’m thinking about making the purchase.. however.. upon testing the demo in both browser and phone I found the shop layout to look weird, when this theme claims to be 100% fluid in design and will look great on every platform/browser..
I use a Samsung S22 Ultra, nothing crazy besides the bigger screen. When I visit the shop page all the products seems to be offset to the left (like if one entire columnwas missing). I do have some images of this but can’t post them in the comments.
I would just like to know that this is something that can be fixed upon purchase.
Also the checkout is missing one very crucial step – the “I agree to terms and conditions”-checkbox upon checkout. Is this something that can be or is implemented (but just doesn’t show up in the demo)?
Also on the single product pages the variation box also looks wierd, with the text off center and in a weird position. Is this also something that can be fixed?

Thank you for reporting the shop layout issues on mobile. I just released an update for the theme that fixes the problems and I updated the theme demo.
The “I agree to terms and conditions” checkbox can be set in the Customizer and I just activated it on the demo site you can see it.

@red-sun just found a possible bug on the following page (when visiting on phone).
https://marni.redsun.design/blog/category/lifestyle/It’s able to slide side to side (the entire side that is) and this is messing with my OCD. Is this also fixable?

I just noticed that the comments have a big empty space on the top of each comment, when viewed on phone. This is not a problem, when viewed with the phone horizontally.
Can this be fixed with some css or an update?
Still waiting for the update regarding the last comments and I really want this theme, but still holding back due to these smaller details.

Hi! I just replied to your email about changing the color.
In order to use a custom font, you can use the “Use Any Font “plugin for that: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/Once the plugin is installed and activated you can upload your font file in the plugin settings and then select the uploaded font in Appearance → Customize → Typography. The new font will now show up in the Font Family select field, at the very top under “Standard Fonts”.

1. There is no option to display captions for Featured Images. But instead you could for example add the HTML Block first thing in the post and add the following HTML code:
<figcaption class="wp-caption-text" style="margin-top:-24px; text-align:center">add caption text here</figcaption>
2. I recommend you to reduce the responsive Page Title Size. You can do that in Appearance > Customize > Typography > Responsive Typography > Page Title

One last question:
On the mobile site menu, clicking a parent menu item only opens and closes the drop down to that submenu but I can’t navigate to the page itself. Is this something you’ve encountered? Thanks

the mobile menu does not allow parent links by default. If you want to allow parent links, you would have to make a little change in the theme files:
Open the file js/scripts.js and find the code for the mobile menu starting with line 131 and add the following code (for example right below the line closeOnClick: true,:
allowParentLinks: true,

Hi @red_sun, this theme has a problem with loading/displaying the custom fonts included in the theme files. For some reason the woff files get me a 404 error in the Google inspect console, since a couple of weeks maybe. They fail to load on all pages except for the homepage. I did not make any changes to the theme since I experienced the font issue. And the woff files are still present in the wp-content folder.
It does load the fonts properly in the Wordpress Customizer, funny enough. But on Chrome and Safari the fonts fail to load.
Fixed: deleted the font folder (wp-content/fonts/lato) completely and reselected the Lato font through the customizer and therefor reinstalling it on my server. This is apparently the solution. Maybe due to an old font file?
