With respect to your query here, ideally within the theme we do not have a way to perform such optimisations. However for many sites, slowness also comes from third party plugin scripts. You can add image optimisation plugin and also caching plugin in order to help with this as well. Here is a guide you can check on how to also go about this.

With respect to your query here, well apparently there is no way to have the same image of the listing show on different sizes or dimensions. That would require customisation to have an upload section for the listing card image and for the listing image which would be so custom. Other than that you could shape the image container on the listing card with a height and width with this css code: header.job_listing-entry-header.listing-cover.has-image {

I bought this item because its mentioned on the sales page that “Make your entire site exclusive to paid users and I have not been able to find a way to do just that. I want to charge people who list on our website and I want to charge the people who want to see those listings. How do I go about that?
I’d like to request a refund since this doesn’t have the feature mentioned on the main product page. It specifically says that
"Paid Site Access: Make your entire site exclusive to paid users"and it’s not true. I bought this because of this main feature that I need for the project I am working on. without this feature, it’s of no use to me and I can’t use it.

With respect to your query here, Well this feature is present within the theme but you will need to get the listing payments plugin in conjunction with WP job manager as it is an additional feature. Do not some of the additional features requires paid plugins as indicated on our sales page and do expect our customers to read that before making a purchase. I am aware that by using the listing payments plugin I can charge people who list on our site but there is no feature in the theme or its additional plugins mentioned in the sales page that will let me charge people before they try to view/search the listing directory.
That makes the site partially exclusive to paid users, not the entire site.

With respect to your query here, apparently there are no official tests done for IDX/MLS plugins with the listify theme yet. Listify is only known to work with WP Job Manager to manually create listings and not really fetch from plugins. For this to work I believe there needs some sort of integration between the two platforms.

I have used this theme for a while. The charge I get using Google maps or Mapbox is just so expensive and I don’t think the number of transactions im being charged for matches the number of views. It seems like the theme maybe calls the maps API unnecessarily, meaning I’m paying 100s a month for maps API? Has this come up before? Thanks

Could you please try changing it to see if you notice any change? If you do not you can go ahead and consult the Google Maps console support about this matter to have it investigated by their internal team.

Ok, for example I have 67,000 page views equating to about 655,000 “tile requests” from Mapbox. Does this sound correct? That’s about 10 “tiles” per request? Do you know how many tiles is needed for a single request from listify? Thanks

This is all done from the mapbox end in relation to your entire site visit. To get better clarification of how this is counted in relation to your site please contact the Mapbox team to further assist you with this.

Hi Brian, Thanks – I’ve followed up and they have come back with the below:
” I suggest switching over to Mapbox GL JS as Mapbox GL JS versions 1.0.0 and higher are billed based on map loads. Looking at our Pricing page, it does look like 65,000 GL JS map loads would cost about $75, whereas 650,000 Static Tiles API requests costs about $225, which suggests that moving to Mapbox GL JS would indeed save you some money..”
The problem is I don’t know how I switch as I’ve just followed listify instructions to copy the default access token from Mapbox. (https://kb.astoundify.com/article/1070-creating-a-mapbox-tileset/) which looks like an old article. Can you please tell me how I can use the version they recommend? Thanks

This would be something that requires customization in order to achieve but we do not cover that within our support scope. With respect to your query here, apologies for the delays but just checked and noticed that your ticket was handled, could be it did not get to your inbox. Usually, you can import the demo template of the theme once you install it. However, it does come with the required plugins which you need to install. As for Elementor the theme is compatible with Elementor. Please note that you do not need the pro version of Elementor in order for the theme to work. The free version of Elementor would be just fine. However, to make the theme compatible with Elementor you will need the Elementify plugin which is paid. This plugin will allow you to build the pages with Elementor using Listify sections/elements.

Hi, I have some questions before purchasing the theme:
1. When my customers pay to submit their listings, is there a way to charge them automatically every month/year? I want automatic renewals.
2. In the “Add your listing” form, is it possible to add a field for my customers to add their products (with title, description, image)?
3. Can the theme be fully translated into Spanish?
4. About the homepage filters: can the first filter be a dropdown menu with a list of categories? And can the location filter be a dropdown menu with a list of cities?

With respect to your query here, on your first query, you can charge customers subscriptions in order to submit listings. This can be possible with the WooCommerce subscription plugin.
As for adding a field for your customers to add their products, this can only be possible with an external plugin known as the field editor. However, as another solution, there is the products for wp job manager, which allows you as an admin to create products and your customers can opt to link them in their listings.
Regarding translations of the theme to full Spanish it is possible to achieve that using a variety of translation plugins like Loco or WPML.
As for the filters, it is possible to have both the category and location/regions field with a dropdown from which users can choose from. For the location option, however, you will need to use the regions plugin to achieve that.

With respect to your query here, well the listify theme is more of a directory theme than a buy and sell theme. You can list items such as cars houses and books. But having to sell them would still be achievable but within the listings themselves. Regarding additional expenses there will be additional paid plugins that you may be required to buy in case you intend to have more features to the theme. Hi, when using Listify theme with WooCommerce subscriptions, what is the difference between the option “Subscription Type” for the products. The two options are “Link the subscription to the package (renew listing limit every subscription term).” and “Link the subscription to posted listings (renew posted listings every subscription term).”?

With respect to your query here, well with the two subscriptions types they may differ in terms of functionality. The Link the subscription to posted listings ties the expiration date of listings to that of the subscription itself.
In other words, as long as the subscription is renewed by the user, listings will remain active. Once the subscription ends or is cancelled, listings will expire.
If the subscription is re-activated after it has expired, the listings will go back to being published again.
For example, if the subscription is renewed every month, and the package limit is 10, the user will be able to submit 10 listings every month using this package.
The expiration date of these listings won’t be related to the subscription itself, that’s a separate setting which defines how long listings stay published for.
Once the subscription ends or is cancelled, listings will remain published until their expiration date is reached. However, once the package limit is reached, the user won’t be able to create any new additional listings anymore, unless they re-activate the subscription.

With respect to your query here, this theme does not really look like tripadvisor by default in terms of design but in terms of functionality-wise, it can perform some of these functions.The listify theme has an option to allow users to add their business listings for free and paid. In additional users can also claim them for free of in a paid method. They can also leave reviews for the business as well for others to see.

At the moment we can not really specify a plugin that would perform the said functionality but you can try mail marketing plugins or forms plugin to achieve that.
