Hi there, any changes in Theme Options and the site gets stuck. “There was a error please try again.” I already reinstalled Porto, but no change. My redux_options_porto_settings JSON file is 50MB (!), usually it is 40KB. I cleaned it up and tried to import, but the import is also not working. My support already expired, but if I know that you can help and fix this, I would renew. But I don’t want to renew and then support tells me I have to rebuild anyway…. or can you give me a hint how to get this solved? please advise. Thank you very much!

Please add ‘zlib.output_compression = Off’ in php.ini and then check back again.

Hi P-Themes, thank you for your reply! I tried Live Option panel already, but it also doesn’t work. There seems to be thousands of rubbish code in the porto_settings.
zlib.output_compression = Off’ in php.ini doesn’t make sense as we are using the newest php version.
What happens if I delete porto_settings altogether in my wp_options? Unfortunately I couldn’t find a plugin which only empties instead of deleting. Will there be a fatal error? Or will there be a new porto_settings option which I then can edit again? Please advise. Thank you for your support!

Hello I installed the Shop 36 theme and it worked ok. But today after update the Woocommerce plugin all the styles dissapeared, it looks horrible.

When I switch to a child theme of porto (even a blank one) the layout settings get lost. I tried exporting the settings from the “Theme Options” when the parent theme (porto) is active and then importing them when the child theme gets activated, but that didn’t fix it. How can the settings be transferred?

Unfortunatly the add to cart button on our product-single is not working anymore, since we did the latest updates. From all archive- category-pages our customers are still able to add to cart directly.
After clicking on add to cart on the product-single it states, the product got added to cart, but the cart itself stays empty.
We already deactivated all other third party plugins except the porto-functionality but its still not working.
PHP = 8.0.28 memory_limit = 256M max_input_vars = 10000 max_execution_time = 300 max_input_time = 300
Do you have any idea what could be causing these problems?

Yes, Porto WordPress is fully compatible with PHP version 8.2, but might be the plugins you used are not such as page builder, Woo, SR, etc, so you have to check the plugins compatibility by disabling them and reactivate them one by one.
If all goes well, you are good to go

I recently purchased Porto to develop a simple webapp with a bootstrap based form. I found that bootstrap.css is wrongly compiled, creating incorrect css rules. I notified this bug to support team and they told me that they cannot do anything about it due to “our limitations” and pointing me to their customization service.
I’m telling you there’s something wrong in your theme and the answer is you can’t solve it… Very professional!

Sorry for the inconvenience but I have just collaborated with the support agent, and the issue was you want to use the bootstrap classes on the section which already have the theme core CSS applied in the core files, so our agent instructed you to use the !important and apply your own CSS on that section, but you do not want to do that, and then our agent instructed you that the other possible way is to remove the theme core CSS from the theme core files and apply the bootstrap classes then, and then you told that it will be overridden when you will update the theme, and it’s true, because in that case you have to Customize it in the Child Theme, and our agent told if you want the Customization code by us, then you have to request for the paid Customization services.

Hi I bought your theme a couple of times now. The last time I bought this I did the installation via the setup wizard en installed the demo content (WPbakery). Now when I edit a page and want to insert a “porto products slider” (show products by category of id in slider) I don’t see this option in the woocommerce tab (on other websites where I use your theme I do have this option).

I have a site that presents a problem in the “Cart” page, the field to increase or subtract quantities works, what is not working correctly, or is not executing the operation, is the update of the values when increasing or decreasing the order, of the quantities of the order. (I attach screenshots). Example, if I order two items worth $170, their subtotal is $340, now, in the “CART” page if I lower the order quantity to 1, it should register a modification in the subtotal to $170, likewise, in the tax, and in the total to pay, likewise, it should register that order modification in the cart icon at the top, and unfortunately, none of that is happening, it does not modify the amounts to pay when the order quantities are modified.
This is on the “CART” page.
We need to fix this as soon as possible.

Hello, I have a problem with the slider on the homepage of my website (site under construction). I’ve installed the “Business Consulting 2” theme. I’ve chosen to work with Elementor (the one included in your package). I want to modify the default images to replace them with my own, but I can’t find where to replace each of these images in the carousel. I can access the “Porto additional settings”, but I don’t see where to change the images with the carousel option. The theme is up-to-date. Thank you for your help.
