It might be related to the versions of npm, node and gulp-cli that you are using.

For your reference, these are the versions that we use in our environment:

npm version: 9.7.1
node version: v18.16.0
gulp CLI version: 2.3.0

You can check the version by running these commands:

npm -v
node -v
gulp -v

If you have different versions, could you please try updating them and see if that solves the problem?

You can update npm by running this command:

npm install -g npm

You can update gulp-cli by running this command:

npm install -g gulp-cli

You can update node by downloading it from the node.js website. Please make sure to use version v18.16.x instead of v20.

Other pages you can find under modules folder. However Metronic Angular Demos come with a limited features comparing to the HTML version demos. The HTML demos mostly use jquery plugins which are not available for Angular.

Please be advised, by default Metronic React authentication API users a public API, this is done for a demo purpose and can not be used in your application.

You can change API url inside demo .env file, variable REACT_APP_API_URL represents authentication API URL and REACT_APP_THEME_API_URL represents CRUD API URL.

Our Metronic React comes with Typescript and Javascript version is not available. Nowadays Typescript becomes a defacto language for SPA frameworks and the React authors also recommend using it for better code quality and extendibility.

You can have a look at this post to quickly get used to Typescript. Please give a try, Typescript is awesome .

Here are instructions on how you can get started with MySQL in our starterkit.

1. Install MySQL on your machine. https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/
2. You can use the default root and no password user to login to your MySQL console by running mysql -u root -p
3. Login to MySql console and create your database and tables.
4. In file src/main/resources/application.properties add database properties.

   spring.datasource.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/db-name
   spring.datasource.username=your-user-name
   spring.datasource.password=your-passowrd
   spring.datasource.driver-class-name=com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver
   

   Make sure to change db-name with your database name and update your username and password.
5. Add dependencies below to starterkit/pom.xml.

Please note that our React and Django solutions are separate solutions and can be used as React frontend and Django backend separately . Basically the Django starter kit uses Demo 1 HTML version as frontend and implements the layout, assets and basic pages(index, auth, error pages) while the React version implements some features from the HTML version but it comes without backend integration such as Django, etc.
