I have purchased this theme and have a few questions

1. How do I turn off map from showing on ad page? It takes up alot of space.

2. This theme wasn’t well customised for mobile. Is there a way to bring the chat option where the phone option is on the single ad page? The way it is now, users will have to scroll all the way down to access it

3. Is there a way to link the message icon on the homepage to open messages page directly rather than opening the dashboard? It takes a long process to get to messages. I need it to be accessible easily.

4. The login page redirects to dashboard. Is it possible to make it redirect to homepage instead?

5. How do I add custom fields? E.g I have a category “electronics” and a subcategory “TV”, how do I then add brand during search and when posting ads like “Panasonic” “Samsung” “apple” and the likes.

6. The ad alerts seem to not be working. I set an alert for phones with the alert name as (Samsung s23) but I’m not getting any mail even after I’ve posted multiple ads under this sub category.

My site will: -Allow ALL visitors to register via email (no phone/social login necessary)

-Allow Vendors/Posters to directly pay to create their listing (on a subscription basis or one-time fee), feature ads for a price, and add additional listings for an additional fee

-Users will not actually check out or purchase any items/products on the site. They just connect with vendors/posters to message each vendor their order, questions, information, shipping info, etc, via chat or messaging. Actual ordering will not be necessary on the website. The only cart/checkout functionality would be for vendors to purchase plans/ads/additional listings

-It does not require a map/location functionality

-No bidding functionality needed

-All products/listings are in “New” condition

-No addresses for vendors/posters

-Users don’t need dashboards, but vendors should have a dashboard

-Google Adsense placements

I have Elementor Pro already. I have colors/typography picked out.

Can this be accomplished with the theme?

And do you offer customization/setup services to get this sort of website up and functional?

Your theme (adforest) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

1. Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. 2. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again. How to fix this problem?

I am impressed with this theme but I would like to clarify a few things before purchase:

1. Is this theme compatible with Hivepress plugin/extensions?

2. Will it be possible to disable the package system so the website will be completely free?

3. Rather than a package system, will I be able to charge users based on a single ad? For example, if a vendor wants to post a shoe and have it featured, will he be able to pay for just the shoe listing instead of a monthly subscription? If yes, how would I go about it? Couldn’t see the option in the demo.

4. Will buyers be able to post request of an item that they’re looking for and have vendors contact them? If yes, can I create a separate section for this different from vendors ads?

5. Will users be able to log in via social media rather than just registration form?

6. On the demo, I’m seeing just a few currencies well I be able to add other currencies as I couldn’t find my country’s currency (Nigeria) there.

7. For the search by Location, I noticed that it shows by country. Will I be able to set it so users can search by state and city instead? (Both state and city) for more precision.

8. Must I install Elementor to build this page or I can just use Gutenberg block?

9. I noticed when I make a search, featured ads (which has nothing to do with my search) comes up first before my actual search. Is there a way to disable this?

10. For the ad alerts, is it triggered based on the category or the specific items. For example, if I search for iPhone 14, do I get an alert when an iPhone is posted or when an iPhone 14 is posted? Does it work for prices as well?

I imported with “WP ALL Import” Plugin Category Templates to a new domain. And the custom fields didn’t import from those category templates? Why? Nor can they be enabled in a template.
