It’s not easy to modify the embeded contact form because you’ll have to modify direclty in the source code BUT you can use the Contact Form 7 plugin to create your form and display it on the Contact page. The theme has full support for Contact Form 7 plugin.

it makes no sense to have a hard coded form in your theme, that no one can easily adapt to their own design/requirements.

Can i suggest that you use that(contact form 7) rather than what you’ve done for your demo, it makes the existing contact form feature redundant.
