It looks like there’s a JS error being caused by your WPRocket settings. I would suggest temporarily disabling that to confirm.

Hey Themenectar! I have designed a woocommerce wp site with Salient. Now, as you can see in here: https://www.farkindalikyazarligi.com/atolye/yaratici-yazarlik-programi/ the page looks good to me. But to make this single product pages more focused, I want two things: 1-I want to reduce margins from the left side of the product image and from the right side of the text, so that it matches the toggle panels below, without losing quality or responsive capabilities both in desktop and mobile. 2-I want to reduce the font size in toggle panels below.

1. You can make those changes by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

2. Those toggles are set to inherit from your “Heading 3” global typography settings I the Salient options > typography > general HTML elements tab. However, if you want to change those to be a different size in isolation you could use a css snippet such as

Thanks, but that doesnt seem to work. I want everything (meaning product image, buy button and info text) to reduce in scale. Like when you select a corner of a box in illustrator and reduce the size in proportion.

Hello ThemeNectar, Currently a client is using your salient theme. He would like to use (for a specific page) a different Navbar & Footer that the one is setup on the Header Navigation / Footer section . Seems like those are global and affect all the pages, posts, etc, besides that, when I attempt to create a page, I have the template option marked as “default template”, do I need to create a new custom template with the desired header and footer, and the choose from template options to have it on the specific page? Let me know if I’m being clear, maybe it’s better to take screenshot. Thanks in advance.

That’s one way you could achieve it. Or you could select the “No header / footer” page template and manually create the header and footer using the page builder.

It looks like you’re trying to add that through a widget, which wouldn’t show the header navigation menu as an option. Instead, you can add the language selector through your WPML → Languages.
Exactly, the idea is to add it to the main menu, so it’s not done from the Salient options?

Hi Everyone. I was going to purchase this theme for two of my websites but what is blocking me is its not compatibility with Rank Math. I suggest you to fully implement it, as at the moment Rank Math is not able to count the words and make seo stats because you havent implemented their api, although it’s compatible with bakery:

I’m not sure what version you’ve been testing as you’ve mentioned you have not purchased the theme yet, but Salient has had MathRank compatibility for a while now. You should be able to utilize the SEO features of MathRank for focus keyword, content word count etc. If you’ve experienced otherwise, please open a ticket on the support forum in regards

Before purchasing the theme I asked the support team of Rank Math to check if the plugin is able to count the words inside the Salient blocks and they all say that it currently not possible since you have not implemented the api there.
May your developers should be in contact with the devs of Rank Math to check why this won’t happen. I cannot open a ticket if i do not purchase your theme. But I won’t purchase it before I don’t know if it is compatible with Rank Math.
For compatible I mean that Rank Math should be able to count the words in any page built with your theme. And at the moment it’s not, untill you wom’t implement that api.
That’s not accurate. We actually incorporated compatibility for that functionality quite some time ago. It appears that they might be working with outdated information or using an older version of the plugin. Could you please provide your MathRank ticket ID? I’d be more than happy to directly contact them for a thorough follow-up.

Hey Emos76, We actually reached out using that form 2 days ago, and it would appear that the information has not been easily disseminated among their own support staff. We have not received any follow-up from them yet, but have provided them a copy of our theme for testing.

if u look into this page, there is an animation within the logo background area, associate with the page scrool. Before the page is scrolled down – the logo appears large with a background and a little description, and after scrolls down the logo becomes small and the description disappears.

I have been facing this issue for almost 4,5 years.
When I use Custom Heading, and input my text there, Several times after going it, it replaces my text at UI as “This is a Custom Heading Element” also when I use Icon List with text, It sometimes shows the text in few listing, and in other listings, it hides the text like the image in the link https://tinypic.host/image/hDAiE
You guys should have resolved this issue in these several years now.
Hey shajeefareedi, The Custom Heading element is a core WPBakery block and not something that Salient adds as apart of our own element set. That being said, we do address any bugs which are reported to us and that we can confirm as being part of Salient or the Salient plugins. What you’re describing are not known issues. Can you please provide us with the ticket ID where you’ve reported those two issues?

Hi. I have two questions.
1. On my site https://atlanthealthnyc.com/ in the footer google map is not showing on Google chrome (desktop), but shows on mobile google chrome and safari. This started about two weeks ago. I tried to deactivating caching plugins, but had no luck. Any suggestions?
2. on my other site https://ageimmune.com/ I get this message in the dashboard. I have the latest WP and updated Salient Theme. Please advise. Thank you.

1. I am currently able to see your Google map on Chrome desktop, and don’t see any errors being logged in the console. Have you been able to replicate this on more than one machine?
2. You likely just need to update to the current release of Salient (v16.0.5), as there are no outdated templates.

1. Really strange. I looked up at two different desktops and do not see Google Map. I cleared all the caches, and still didn’t fix that. But when using Incognito window, it shows up.
2. The current version of theme for ageimmune is 15.0.6 and I do not see the option to update. The first site in question 1 is updated to the most current one 16.0.5 That is strange, I check on a weekly basis to update everything.
I was able to figure out with the 2nd part. Had to install Envato Market plugin, so it could check for the updates.

Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing from Chrome desktop. Are you only seeing the issue when you’re logged in as an admin?
I am seeing this when logged or logged out. Must be something weird with my browser, but on two different computers (home and office). Unless something triggered on those machines after logging into into WP dashboard. Even cleaning cache multiple times didn’t solve this issue. Just checked on my wife’s desktop, all looks good. I will keep you posted.

Have you confirmed that it’s also not related to any browser plugins you have active on those machines?
When posting an image in a blog post, the image used to post by default as a large image as a clickable link to the media file. Now it posts by default as a small fixed image with no link. There also used to be options in the media library to control this but it has disappeared. Now I can only change these parameters by editing the images individually after posting them, which doesn’t help when I’m adding many images. Is there a way to go back to how the options used to be?

It sounds like you’re referring to the core WordPress block editor, which Salient does not alter. We have not changed anything on our end that would affect the defaults of the native image block provided by WordPress. However, if you want to alter the defaults, you could follow a solution similar to the one suggested here.

Do you know why it’s jumping from section 2 to section 4, flying over section 3 without stopping on it? And when we scroll up from section 4 it’s jumping to section 2, flying over section 3 without stopping on it too. Once we did it back and forth, then it works properly, we can stay on section 3 as long as we don’t scroll anymore. It’s an issue that we already reported and got fixed in the past but it comes back with some theme updates.
