Hi Coffeecream, I see that you are working on building a new version of this theme. Do you have an idea of when it might be completed? Also, I see that it will be compatible with the block editor, so I’m guessing that it would be compatible with kadence blocks editor? Thank you! Looking forward to your new updated them.
Hi, yes, that is right. But I can’t give any specific, sorry. Too many deadlines were not met.
I rebuilt all my other themes to FSE, this is the last one to do. But I’m always getting busy with something.
May I ask why you need Kadence block library? I believe additional block libraries is like using Elementor. You need it only once to build the layout and design. After that it is not used anymore and kind of burden.
Theme will be compatible with Kadence because it is block editor FSE. But I am not sure if you can easily switch default blocks back and forth with Kadence blocks. If you can, that is good, but I think you can only do it one way – from default to Kadence.
Thank you.
Hi Coffee Cream, before I purchase a new theme are you planning on an update in the near future. I would really like to use this theme again for a new client?
Kind regards Michael.
Hi Michael, this theme definitely has future.
I am working on a new version, but that will not just be an update, but a complete rebuilt. So, if you plan to use the current version for the new project, you can do so, but that will be an outdated theme.
The new version will be based on WP block editor (no WPBakery or Elementor). But the jobs platform will be same – WP Job Manager. So, then the time will come for you to migrate to a block editor version, it will not be as easy as just updating a theme files. Will need some work on the pages (to migrate content from WPBakery to block editor). But jobs will not need any special migration.
I plan to upload the new version somewhere in the middle of an August. The design will be about the same as now, just refreshed.
I know that the theme demo is not even working now. And I am not fixing it because I don’t like people to buy it as it is outdated.
So if you are sure to buy this, please do. With the new version, I will also keep the old one (current). At the moment I can not even update it like with newer plugin versions, because some requirements on the marketplace changed, and to update it, I need to change too much code. Which does not worth as I am building a new version.
Thank you!
Please push an updated package, at least with up to date plugins. Thanks
Hi, would you please update the plugin package so as we can still use the theme ?
Hi, I am working on the complete theme rebuilt to WP block editor FSE. Before that is ready, updating a theme is problematic. Because ling time ago TF updated some requirements and I have to do many changes to existing version just to upload updated plugins. Which does not make much sense.
Does it stop working because of outdated WPBakery version? Should not do.
Thanks.
Ok… Still working pretty much but just an issue with the video player element in the page builder : YT video link displayed instead of the video
Send a message to support system, I will help with the update.
Is there an update to expect for the Theme (currently version 2.33)? Updating WooCommerce (> 8.9.3) does not work in combination with the Theme. I see that your demo sites are down (critical errors).
Hey it seems that like the theme is having issue with PHP 8.1. It is causing the website to have an error. Are you able to update the theme files for PHP 8.1
Did author abandon this theme?
Presales question – do you have any name and password, so I can see the employers and seekers dashboard please?
Presale question: I need the packages to be bought by those who want to answer the advertisements and not by those who publish them. Can this be done with your template?
Does your service offer the option for customers to pay for job application packages?
Hi, yes this feature is enabled if you install a WC Paid Listing plugin. Thank you.
Hi, I’m able to download only ver 2.3 from my dashboard. How can I download the latest version 2.38?
Hi, I messed with the version numbers. I will do a technical update in few days. Then the theme will migrate to block editor. Thank you.
HI,
Can you release an update to fix the problem? The last update to download dates from 2022, it is version 2.33.
THANKS
hi,
1) Since updating the WPBakery plugin to version 7.3, the search bar is no longer translated. 2) How to translate the log in and log out button? 3) how to translate on the “register as” registration page? 4) Have you thought about updating the theme?
Thanks in advance
hi,
can you download version 2.38 of your theme which dates from Aug 3, 2023 in order to possibly correct my problem??
THANKS
Hi, that is strange, it is really 2.33 here. I will prepare another update with new plugins. etc and upload it on the weekend. Thank you.
Perfect thank you
Can you also fix my code issue?

Does Jobseek work together with Plugins like SearchWP that improve the WP Search function, most importantly bringing in stuff like Keyword Weight Control and Synonym aliasing?
Hi,
if you want to improve the search and filtering, you can replace the standard filters with FacetWP and Relevanssi plugins – they work together. Theme is prepared for the integration with FacetWP, and this plugin has an addon to work with Relevanssi plugin.
If you are interested, I can help with that. Also be aware that the theme is under rebuilt right now – it will be block theme soon. But it will be ready in a month I think.
Thank you.
Are you sure? Relevanssi sais it’s not working with WP Job Manager and you have to disable Relevanssi for WP Job Manager posts if you want it work on the rest of the content.
WP Job Manager displays a jobs list and filters with a shortcode. Which is quite outdated and limited.
My idea is that instead of using this part of WP Job Manager, you fully replace it with FacetWP filter and results list. And this plugin works with Relevanssi.
Jobs are just a custom post type with some meta data. They can be displayed and filtered with all possible ways, you don’t have to use the WPJM [jobs] shortcode at all.
BTW, I just found out that SearchWP works with WP Job Manager out of the box. So if that is what you need – you can use it. Jobseek theme uses standard WPJM ways of displaying jobs, so it must work fine.
2.38 – Aug 3, 2023
- Salary and Hourly Rate fixed (WooCommerce disabled)
- Slider Revolution & WPBakery Page Builder plugins updated
- How to add/modify/remove fields from cadidates and employer registration form.
- How to add Google recaptcha in every forms of the website.
- How to export all candidates/employer/resumes/all company profile list data.
Hi,
1) 2 ways to do so – with code, or there is a paid plugin that allow to do it.
2) I don’t have an exact instruction, but I’m sure you can do so. You can also only allow to post jobs and resumes for registered users, so you don’t need it in those forms.
3) Any plugin or any way how you would imports data from WP. All that data is a WP posts of different types.
Thank you.
hi i try to register but only i have to option email and selection ,candidate or employer and i didn’t received any notification email to create password !
Pre Sale Questions
A. Does your theme support:
1. Users signing up to job alert emails 2. WooCommerce Paid Listing Packages 3. Bookmarking/favouriting of jobs by users 4. Applications via a form and employers viewing the applications via a dashboard
without having to pay a yearly subscription for the WP Job Manager add ons?
B. Does your theme create location specific pages (eg www.jobsite.com/london ) based on the location of job postings as they get added by employers?
C. Does your theme automatically structure each job listing so it qualifies for Google JobPosting schema?
Hi,
A. The theme is built on WP Job Manager plugin, and you need to buy these addons.
B. Yes, this is bone by regions addon using predefined regions. But it will not work if you use geolocation. It will not automatically collect jobs by cities etc. and create archives for them.
C. This is a part of the WP Job Manager functionality.
Thanks.
Thanks for the fast response – is C included as part of WP Job Manager’s core or is it another paid add on?
C – it is included in a free WP Job Manager plugin.
Really appreciate your fast responses.
Thank you.
At the moment, I am rebuilding this theme. It will be a full site editing theme. But it will be available in about 2 weeks only.
What do you mean by full site editing?
Now theme is built using templates (php files) and WPBakery plugin to build content.
New verison will use native WP block editor for the content and for the templates. No page builders, much less code and bloat. Just a new way to build with WordPress. Soon all themes will be built like this.
Still, some plugins does not support block editing, but it is possible to use them because block editor support shortcodes as well.
That’s useful to know – so you’ll have a whole new look to this theme then? More design options to choose from?
Design will be almost same, just updated and more flexibility. No options – you can built with block editor whatever you want (almost).
hi just want to ask if the Search widgets are customizable? and both resume and candidate search boxes can be used at the same page just like the image below?
we only need a simple search like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/15j_KOmiJL-s2h2kEDWBngECjJQyWj4xa/view?usp=share_link.. is this achievable in your theme?Hi,
if you want to extend the form with some unique filters – you need to use a 3rd party plugin. Default form is not very customizable – you can only disable some of the filter fields from what you see in demo.
2 search boxes are possible on the same page.
Thank you.
what 3rd party plugin is that?
Just any filter plugin that work with custom posts.
If you can tell what parameters you want to have filter for – I can tell you for sure?
I’m not really a code guy, all iwe want is a page with Jobs Search and Skill Search , im using wp job manager plugin.
In that case – all must be good.
