I’m sorry for the following question:
I don’t want to have an “Ouick View” button on the product image. https://t.ly/vVbE- I go to: Appereance, Theme Options, Woocommerce and Product Archives. And set “Show Quick View” to NO and safe it. https://ibb.co/fCcRFb4After I clear the browser cache the Quick View option on the product image is still there. I also walked to another computer where this site has never loaded and the Quick View option is still visible there too.
How is this possible?

It seems you are using the Custom Layout on your site for the Archive page and that is why the theme options does not work, so you have to navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives, edit it and check the element settings.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I have to report that I have not changed any settings or anything.
Again, I have an “out of the box” install.
I did Install: WordPress, Woocommerce, Porto Theme, Import “Auto Service” theme, Install three common plugins,
That’s it. I never changed any settings or check boxes. Still, it seems that there is something wrong with the theme.
There are too many things that aren’t right. Also loading the page on my Android phone still shows the first Out of the Box home page. Even after a refresh, the updated page does not appear.
Should I contact support or do a new install?

I used Port Post Grid to show products on home page but the style tab is blank and the content tab does not have many options to change the font or other setting. Please tell me which widget should I use to have more controls on the products layout?

So I have two web shops. There is a big difference in the number of options: “Appereance, Theme Options, Woocommerce; – Product Archives and Single Product.
In my first webshop I have many more options to set than now in my second webshop. So I miss a lot of options in my second webshop. How is this possible?

It seems you have turned ON the Full Site Editing Mode, please navigate to Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Full Site Editing and uncheck the option from there, save changes and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Thanks for your help. This was the setting I was looking for.
This is an “out of the box” website. I just installed:
WordPress Woocommerce Porto Theme Import the “Auto Service” theme Install “Classic Widgets” plugin.
That’s all. I never enable or disable a checkbox if I don’t know what its purpose is. By default, this “Full Site Editing” box is set to On.
Same as my previous question: https://themeforest.net/comments/29934829 These check boxes were not enabled.Could it be that this is standard in Theme?

Hi I always see the message “Begin updating plugin” for Porto Functionality plugin. Even I update it, it shows again and again forever. How can I fix that?

First of all, please make sure that you are using the very latest version of the Theme and if not then please first update your theme, please navigate to Porto >> Theme License and un-register the theme from there and then again re-register the theme with the same purchase code.
After that please navigate to Appearance >> Themes and update the theme from there.
And then please navigate to Appearance >> Install Plugins and try to update the plugins from there one by one.
If the issue still persists, then please delete the current Porto Functionality plugin and Install it again from Appearance >> Install Plugins.
Alternatively, please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look at your site and help you out in resolving your issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience but it seems that you haven’t updated the Role Manager under the WPBAKERY settings.
So, kindly go to your Dashboard > WPBAKERY Page Builder > Role Manager > under that open the Administrator accordion > under that select the Post Type as Custom > and then check all the 4 options there (i.e. post, page, product and porto_builder) and then you would be able to edit your Header, Footer and other Block Templates with the WPBAKERY Page Builder easily: https://postimg.cc/n9p797Nr

Hello, I am having issues with only being able to see the updates to my website after logging out of the backend of Wordpress. I only have this issue with Porto and none of my other websites where I use other themes. Yes, I have deleted/cleared cache. Also, I need to know which builder to use. It seems like there are too many ways to modify this theme with each of them taking control of different sections of the website. This is very confusing. The reason multiple builders are installed is because your demo website wizard installed them upon installing the demo. Now I have Visual Composer, Elementor, WPBakery, your own Porto version of a builder, Wordpress customizer, Gutenberg, your page/layout builder, Wordpress classic editor, your Template builder, and your own Theme options.
While choice is sometimes great, this is a nightmare because all of these came packaged with the theme and none of them completely change the theme by itself and other ones cancel out editing some “sections” of the website. With me spending days trying to figure out which ones work on which section and which ones control the actual editing. I can’t even get the themes header menu colors to change no matter what I do or which builder I use.
I could’ve hand-coded a new website quicker than learning all these builders (that want you to upgrade to the Pro version) and trying to figure out which ones handle which section of the website. Then I pay for support and send a support ticket and I’m asked to join DISCORD. So now I have to go on another platform and “learn” that too? I don’t want to learn anymore in order to make your theme work. I am operating15 other websites with different themes and none of them have taken me this long or been this difficult to edit.
Sorry but I’m super frustrated. And I love the look, feel and functionality of your theme. However, I need actual help and I sent over my login credentials with my support ticket. Would you please read my questions on the ticket and respond with a fix rather than asking me to watch a generalized video? Ticket ID #28670 Or refund my support fee so that I can purchase a more user-friendly theme with actual support.

First of all, we are sorry for the inconvenience and for your frustration.
1. You are using the cache plugins on your site named as (Speedy Cache),
You are using LightSpeed server which has the built-in server cache as well and you have to flush it or disable it by contacting your hosting provider.
Let me try to explain it to you, when you save any changes from theme options, it rewrites those changes to the porto-styles folder files which are responsible for the site CSS to work. So sometimes because of file permission issues, sometimes server cache issues, sometimes site cache plugins issues, sometimes because of any server restriction issues, sometimes third party plugin confliction issue, that could be any reason from the above ones, the files under porto-styles folder does not update with the new changes from theme options, so that is why in that case, we recommended to delete that folder of porto-styles and then click on save changes button again from the theme options so that it will create the same new folder with same files again at the same place but with new changes from the theme options.
Hope this makes sense now and is clear enough.
2. About the plugins, Porto WordPress is fully compatible with the WP Bakery, Elementor, and Gutenberg plugins, and you can only edit/modify the content of the demo with which you imported the Demo. Let me clear you.
If you import the Demo with Elementor, then you can only edit/modify the content using the Elementor page builder and disable all the other page builders on your site.
In setup wizard, it provides all the theme pre-packed plugins to Install, but it is up to you which plugin you want to Install or not.
3. And that Discord is the template in our support reply and that is for all of our customers, if you do not wish to join Discord then you can discard it.
4. I have checked your ticket as well and you asked for the colors are not working on the frontend when changing from the backend, and we have provided you the complete video proof that it is working fine for us, so that issue must be the cache issue at your end.

Thanks for your reply, I have three more WordPress websites using different themes on that same server and they aren’t giving me any of the issues you’ve described and never have. I have a VPS.
Would you login to the back of my WordPress dashboard and help? I sent you the login information through the support portal that I paid for. I can see that the colors appear to be changed from looking at the website “Incognito” and after I log out. But again, your theme is the only one doing this to me out of a group of websites hosted on the same server, using WordPress.
I understand the part about the different “Builders/Editors”. Thank you for clarifying that.
Also, I have gone into my Cpanel, File Manager and deleted the Iscache files and any cache files in the file manager and it is still doing exactly the same thing.

I’m working on a new website and first I will set the basics to my needs.

Both use the “Paragraph” settings under Theme Options, Skin, Typography. But when I chance it here I see only the text color is changing in “short description” and the “product description” and not the text.
What I’m missing here ?
