We have the current version 4.4 from a few years back. Do we have to renew the licences in order to get an updated version of the bundled Bakery Builder plugin? Seems a bit steep if ther’es no update to the theme itself. Have tried requesting this via support ticket at QODE but won’t let me request it as support has expired on our licence. What say thee?

The theme is supported and it will continue to be updated, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.
Current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need immediate update of any bundled plugin you can contact our support and they will provide you with latest version.

When did you last update the Google fFonts available to the theme? I dont see ALexandria, Nunito Sans, Lexend and quite a few more. There are currently 1561 families in Google fonts, but your list isn’t that long. Are you planning on updating it soon?

At the moment we did not include the latest google fonts but you can always upload it as a custom font if you wish to have a specific font included that is not available.

With the switch to GA4 Analytics, can we simply drop the new GA4 property ID where we used to add the UA property ID in Select Options > Global Options? Or can we empty that field and simply integrate with Site Kit Plugin from Google?

The portfolio section is now broken. When trying to view a portfolio item, it shows a critical error. This has been tested on a “naked” install of the theme as well. Please provide and update to fix this issue.

The theme is compatible with PHP8. We haven’t tested our theme with WP 5.9 yet, however you can try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
WP 5.8 introduced block based widgets feature, so we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solution until we add compatibility with block based widgets.

Thanks for the reply – the issue is more that upon updating wordpress and Nouveau to the latest versions it seems to have changed padding size, menu height, font size, colours, etc ,so I now have to go back in and fix everything. Also I get this errors message from the JQuery Migrate helper:
“https://www.mantomantalks.com/wp-content/themes/nouveau/js/admin/default.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated”
“https://www.mantomantalks.com/wp-content/themes/nouveau/js/plugins/waypoints.min.js is deprecated”
Would it help if I got the updated version of WPBakery? Am I able to get it from you since it came packaged in the theme? the latest version I have is what came with 4.3 which is 6.6

When you update theme and bundled plugins it is necessary to navigate to Theme Options and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file with all of the settings from theme options.
Since the compatibility with WP5.7 is added in latest update you can now deactivate and delete JQuery Migrate Helper plugin.

For some reason the footer menu has disappeared. It is present in the menu section list of menus along with the main menu, but it wont show on the pages. Please let me know how to fix this.

Please note that for our demo site, we haven’t done specific site speed optimization because the main accent was put on showing all the features and elements from the theme, as well as keeping the highest quality of the photos. There are many ways and tricks for improving WordPress site speed so-called speed optimization. A balance between size and quality is necessary. A good hosting server is also very important for the site´s performance. We always give advises to our users in support tickets when they build a site in our theme, what steps they should take in order to improve the speed.

Once we check we do see that your Header skin is set to light on your home page, so if you go to your page > Header settings > Header skin. If your header skin is set to light it will have already predefined styles, so please set it to default and the global options will be applied.
