Character encoding issues happenned after updating the theme.
As I used this theme with WPML for non-english website, it worked good before I updated the theme, but now the emails sent to Admin or Users show garbled characters. If I manually convert them into coding UTF-8, the email will be normal, but most of users don’t know this way. Please tell us how to reset coding UTF-8 in the theme or its plugins so that it work properly like before. Thanks

Even though this is not something we do for comments on theme forest, I checked in code and we use already UTF-8 In email headers we specify UTF-8 and you can double check in plugins\wprentals-core\classes\wpestate_email.php

Please check first you have the theme update to latest version to be sure you have the latest theme and plugins.

I want to hide the price on the calendar. How can I do it? I using the wordpress of DigitalOcean, and then I import the wprental. But I dont know why my site always receive notice Error establishing a database connection.

The Database Connection comes from hosting, but what triggers it you would need to see by doing a detailed review of what hosting reports say in logs (like debug log). You assume you have this from theme, but maybe your hosting does not have memory or other resources recommended, or perhaps you have extra plugins that need more than theme default server requirements.

1) on the listings page only 1 picture shows up. We added memory limit and do not see a problem in the console.

In wp-admin we put a notice that properties are managed in front end. That is because Calendar, Ical and Custom Prices are managed in front end. You can be single owner, but you need to use front end.
Images are added to Images section. First check you add images in front end https://prnt.sc/US_NLMi_5F4k – help https://help.wprentals.org/article/how-to-add-edit-images-in-a-property/ You can manage how many images from wp-admin are added to each property too. So if you have a limit – check that too. See the same help.
2. Category tagline, not sure if it is category name – that is managed from wp-admin – properties. Help https://help.wprentals.org/article/how-to-edit-view-delete-custom-taxonomies/
Tagline can be the 2nd line in some categories widgets – they are added by widget as you create the page.

Hey guya, thanks for the outstanding support, I used Loco in the end. The only problem I have left:
a) can’t register for your support system, so I ask here again: I was able to translate nearly everything, we need to change the word guest in advanced seach, I even tried to find it in advanced_search.php as Loco does not show it. Do you have any hints where we can change the word in the dropdown?
Our project is a bit complicated as we hire per month, but we were able to change most of it.

You can install the child theme from theme pack following this help https://help.wprentals.org/article/how-to-activate-child-theme/
And then you can edit or add your language for theme in child theme. Child theme will keep the custom language you create separate so you can update the theme.

HEllo there…I use your theme for one of my clients as part of the rental of a unique property, a house which will be rented at night or on weekends for two days… as an administrator I created the property with various details…however I cannot access the calendar and the dashboard anywhere…the pages which were created automatically during the installation of the theme always return to the home page…I I therefore have no access to the dashboard with the advanced calendar settings and the entire synchronization part which must be bidirectional with Airbnb where the property already exists (but my client wishes to offer it for rental directly on his site without going through this portal ) ...on the other hand all my default settings of elementor color typography title and layout are inactive and the maintenance mode does not work either…thank you in advance for your help

You probably saw in wp-admin that you need to manage properties in front end. That is because Calendar, Ical and Custom Prices are managed in front end. You can be single owner, but you need to use front end.
As I understand – you do not see dashboard pages. It means you put the limitation that only some users can add properties and your username is not in the list of usernames. Please check https://help.wprentals.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Screenshot_26.png . Go in theme options and use comma , to separate usernames and no spaces between comma and username. Check username is added exactly as registered in wp-admin – users.

I now have a more worrying problem because I think that your excellent theme does not allow me to achieve what my client is asking of me…he wishes to offer a 2-day reservation package (only Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) or it offers a reduction on the weekend price which is higher than the standard price…but for this I would have to be able to offer a calendar where only Friday / Saturday / Sunday are available and the customer must select two days consecutive…I was thinking of creating a second identical property and blocking the weekdays and imposing two minimum reservation days but it seems that this is not possible and that we cannot use the same calendar internally… (it would also be very useful I think if you offered the possibility of choosing the days available globally as is most often the case for reservation systems because if I understood your tutorial correctly we cannot prohibit the reservations on certain recurring days of the week….thank you in advance for your help

-> The theme can force check in on a specific day – you can add minim nights, and you can block calendar with ical so only the nights you wish are available.
—> From these 3 possibilities, since you need check in to be either Friday or Saturday – you can use minim nights and make calendar unavaialble with ical. Hello. Thank you for the comment. As you probably saw on our presentation site https://imgur.com/a/1OQRPuf we only support rent by night or hour – not month. You can set minim booking nights and different prices per night for bookings over 30 nights – but we do not have a way to set price per month as we cannot offer booking by month.
We have an option that replaces booking with contact form and we have after price text so you can add text month as price, but it would not be possible to do bookings by month.

Is there a way to send people to a different page when clicking on “Book Now”? Client does not want to force people to log in to book and her booking goes through an API endpoint so she just needs to gather the renter’s details (name, address, phone, credit card info, etc) and send it to the API endpoint of her online property management system.

Your description says the theme works with Elementor or WP Bakery, but if you do not install WP Bakery it shows “This theme recommends the following plugins: Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer and WPBakery Visual Composer.” – so does it work with Elementor Pro? Will functionality be reduced if we don’t use WP Bakery?

hello i have minimum set to 5 nights that why this is happen. so on my pic you can see that the first 4 days are blocked.
Now if i click on the 8th then the blocked days open up.. this happen because the 3rd is already marked. i hope you understand?
so this happen only if the property is free from today date. so the today date is marked automatic so 5 nights is blocked off. for example users cant click on 5th date if they try today.

Hi, I have a presales for a new client looking to use your template, is the following possible. They have looked at our current system and have a few questions before purchase.
1. Is it possible to have custom deposits for each listing, as some clients have different deposit requirements. 2. Is there a way to setup and advanced search were a person looking to book accommodation can search by area and then the search shows owner profiles, the problem is currently the search result returns all listings in an area, they are aiming to have hundreds of owner profiles and the search would be a nightmare with listing only.

Is there any way of adding any information about the payment to the Listing?, seems there are options on the listing how to configure certain price variations but there are not even one option/label to turn on and make it available as Pay Pal, Cash, CC etc, that part even on informational level is totally missing from the theme

I am not sure from your description if you expect each property – as owner adds it – to have information about how user can pay owner directly. That is not supported.

For Hourly Booking, the problem has been existing for over 3 years
If any content or prices are changed and saved, the Start time and End time change into 0 and 1 o’clock itself. This causes that no time period can be selected by customers unless you reset the Start time and End time at last step and save it. I reported this issue last year, but unfortunately it was not resolved at all. I really hope the author fix it in next update.

If you change a price and save it on your edit page, you will find the time change into 0 an 1’oclock on Frontend. Your video shows you change time and save it at last step, it is right, but it is wrong if you change other items like prices at last step. This bug was there for over 3 years.
