regarding this thing please check if the jnews theme folder name is still using default name, the default name of the jnews theme folder supposed to be jnews, you can check it in your server inside wordpress-folder-name/wp-content/themes/

if you want to modify the header, you can you use JNews Header builder you can access if from Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > JNews : Header option
when you accessing the setting above below the screen will appear JNews Header Builder, if you only want to show the middle part of the header, you can leave the top section and bottom section empty, please check the screenshot below for the example

In the new demo ArtMagz the ”.jeg_post_category” style is a gradient color but how to set this?
I can’t find this option in Extended Category Option or Customize Detail Category. We use version 11.1.3 (with WPBakery Visual Composer).

Too bad, I can of course adjust it via CSS, but we use different colors for different categories, and that won’t work that way. Thanks for your reply!

the category label in our modules have different class for different categories
for example, for the category graphic design it will have class category-graphic-design, below is the example of css code that can be used to change the background color

I’m interested in purchasing this theme and have a couple of questions before making a decision.
I’ve noticed that the gadget review theme showcases ratings on the homepage, which I like. However, I don’t plan to use ratings or reviews on every page. I also intend to use this theme for standard news blogs and want to feature both ratings and regular blog posts on the homepage. Is it feasible to achieve this with the theme?
Is it possible to display both ratings (for reviewed products) and regular blogs on the homepage and other pages, or do I need to exclusively use the gadget review demo for this? Which displays ratings on all the posts (AFIAK)

yes, you can choose which post to show rating or not,
you can have the standard post blogs and ratings showing on homepage or the other pages
the review feature is not exclusive to our gadget review demo, it can be used in all of our demo, you also can use the rating feature without importing our demo

Hello, my support has expired but I want to remove Tags: from tag pages, it is creating issues and appearing in Google Search. For now I have added CSS to hide it, but it is still available, just hidden.

the Tag: prefix in the single tag page is Wordpress default prefix for the single tag title, if you want to modify or remove it, you need additional php code to achieve that.
first you can activate our JNews child theme, please check the link below for the tutorial to use JNews child theme.
if you already activate it inside jnews child theme folder there are functions.php, in that functions.php you can add filter into wordpress’s get_the_archive_title_prefix filter, please check the link below for the documentation.

if you edit the archives.php directly the changes you’ve made maybe missing if you update the theme, because when the theme updated it will replace the old theme file
please follow the steps below to remove the Tag: prefix and to avoid losing the changes when the theme updated
activate the child theme
after the child theme activated, please add the following code below inside functions.php in jnews child theme folder

It’s been more than a year and I haven’t seen any significant improvements, and there are only features that aren’t too necessary. Below are my suggestions to make the core of the theme better.
1. Upgrade FontAwesome to version 5.x, it look better.
2. Convert JS to Vanilla Javascript, does not depend on Jquery.
3. Convert CSS to “mobile first”.

Few Pre-sales and related queries. We want to create a News based Blog, but also want to Add Web Stories on the site. However, we are not sure, how to do that. As we are New for this type of site. May be our questions are like Novice users, but would appreciate your kind response with details. As your responses can help us to understand how it works, and to decide our next steps.
Can you please answer each query pointwise, with details. –
1. You mentioned your theme is compatible with AMP plugin. Does that mean, you make AMP compatible with Elementor as well
2. If not, what exactly does that mean then. And how it turns out to be compatible
3. You wrote theme now supports Web Stories and added few Layouts or Templates. What does that refers here.
That is an external plugin. So how come we users get extra Termplates for Web stories.
And where we will be able to find those. Within the Web stories plugin after installing it. Or somewhere else.
4. If we create Web-stories does it Requires Elementor or Block Editor or some other. Can you please elaborate on that
5. Does creating Web stories require AMP to be installed or not?
5. b). Is it mandatory to have an AMP plugin to Add and create Web stories.
5 c). If we create Web stories but do not have AMP plugin, can Web stories still be found and discovered on Google.
Or else, to be found on Google Discover (or below Google Search), it is mandatory to have an AMP plugin.
6. To make the Standard Post (not Web Stories) appear in Google Discover (Google Discover or on Search page), do we have to create it using some other Editor and Not the Elementor.
