Hi Team.
I have put a small contact form on all product pages using cf7 and shortcodes, I’ve noticed that the cf7 forms don’t validate fields or send using ajax (i.e keeping the loader in the same window). Instead, on porto product pages the entire page refreshes, and then shows the user any validation errors, or if the form submitted successfully.
I deactivated porto, and reactivated twenty twenty three theme, and the contact form behaves correctly.
If it helps, i also noticed that the cf7 class contains the class ‘no-js’ in the console, not sure if related, but theres definitely something in the theme that’s blocking the standard cf7 behaviour.
Could you please advise me how I can resolve this issue please? i.e Whether I need to ammend your theme code, or otherwise?
Sean
Hello, @4tcmedia,
I appreciate your detailed explanation, and I understand the concern you’ve raised. Allow me to provide further context.
It’s important to note that every theme is constructed on distinct parameters and coding standards. Default themes, by nature, do not incorporate specialized features and options akin to advanced multipurpose themes like our PORTO theme. Consequently, it is not a fair comparison to evaluate a default theme against our feature-rich multipurpose theme.
Regarding the behaviour of the single product page in our theme, it operates according to a specific design. By default, AJAX/jQuery functions do not load on the single product page, and as a result, the page undergoes a reload when data is submitted. It is crucial to understand that this behaviour cannot be altered through the theme settings. Unfortunately, no immediate solutions are available within the theme to modify this aspect. Customization would be required to achieve such changes.
If you have a strong inclination to customize this aspect, I recommend reaching out to our dedicated customization team. They are well-equipped to assist you in tailoring the theme to your specific requirements. You can initiate the customization process by visiting the following link: https://www.portotheme.com/customization/
I hope this explanation clarifies the situation. If you have any further inquiries or need additional guidance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are committed to assisting you in any way we can.
Thank you for your understanding.

I just successfully updated the theme and plugins with one exception: Ultimate Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder. Is this plugin no longer bundled with the theme?
Hello, @beverlystone,
Indeed, the plugin was removed from the theme package approximately two years ago.

If I move this submenu down the alignment is wrong. Please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/vxw22jCH If the viewer’s screen is 13 inches on a Laptop or smaller, the submenu will be obscured, like this: https://postimg.cc/vx199H04 Thank for help!
Hello, @trcnam,
Thank you for providing screenshots to help clarify the issue. It appears that your site has an extensive list of submenu items. In situations like this, it’s advisable to utilize a mega menu for improved presentation. Fortunately, our theme includes a built-in mega menu option. To learn how to create a mega menu, I recommend referring to the following article: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/how-to-build-a-megamenu/This resource will guide you through the process and assist you in enhancing your menu presentation.

Hello, I am having a similar issue as Intronet. I have a page with the Porto Blog simple grid element showing 3 columns of posts with the Featured image. It looks good, but I want a few of these posts to just have an external link so that when you click on the post/image, it goes directly to an external url/article and not to the “Single Blog” post page that has the link icon? Is this possible? I do not like the fact that I have to click on the post and then click again on the link icon to get to the external article. I cannot find any samples of this in your demos? thanks
Hello, @shingt,
As explained to @Intronet,
You have to follow the same procedure, Explained here: https://themeforest.net/comments/30045986
After creating the desired style for the Custom Post Type you need to use it on your page, you can use the Porto Post Grid element instead of Porto Blog on your page and choose the created custom post type layout in it as shown in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/r0nVQYc6
It will show the button with external links on your posts like this: https://postimg.cc/xJvfSTK2

Hi im trying to customize product filter in widget section, is very limited, is there any way to avoid extra plugin? for example want to insert filter atribute via shop but doesnt appear on filters..
https://tinyurl.com/yuqum7eqHello, @baspax1989,
Thank you for contacting us.
In our theme, you have the flexibility to add filters to the shop sidebar based on your specific requirements. For instance, if you have product attributes such as color, size, and brand, and you wish to display the color and size attributes as filters in the shop sidebar, you will need to add two filter widgets, similar to what is illustrated in this image: https://postimg.cc/mtdxvFF4
After adding these filter widgets, you can then proceed to customize their settings to align with your preferences, as demonstrated in this image: https://postimg.cc/1ghv29MP.
This configuration allows you to set up filters in our theme effectively. Please note that for each distinct filter, a separate filter widget needs to be added. At present, there isn’t a single widget available that can encompass all filters. We trust this explanation clarifies the process for you. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Hi Porto It doesn’t observe the extarnal URL in the post options, so when you click the post you still get to the post-page instead of going to the external URL. Can you help me with this problem?
Hello, @intronet,
Please make sure that you have set the “Post Format” as “Link”: https://pasteboard.co/Ss04aSXrfGYA.png
And also please make sure to turn ON the “Show Post Format” option from Porto >> Theme Options >> Post: https://pasteboard.co/sYrNWN1S17al.png

Hello, @intronet,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, but via your provided screenshot, it seems you are using the FSE mode on your site. In FSE mode all the functionality has been managed by the Porto Builder, most of the theme options does not work in FSE, Please refer to our article here: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/unleashing-creative-freedom-with-porto-themes-full-site-editing-demos/
So please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Post Type and edit the Custom Post Type from there, then use the “porto button element” to it and set the source as “porto meta box field” and value as “External URL”, please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/N94d4GC7
We hope this helps, Otherwise, please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we will have a look into it for you on your site and help you out.

Hi,
I would like to change the email address porto@domain.com to the header.
I changed the email address in two places in the “Template Builder”. Unfortunately, porto@domain.com still remains visible.
Is there anywhere else I need to change this? https://t.ly/7Jc8pHello, @Rembrandt_Lights,

Hello, I want to import an element from a demo (Demo shop 25), but I’m getting this error message: “Element type not found: ‘porto_product_categories’. In Full Site Editing (Soft Mode), we provide a posts grid widget instead.”
Can you please provide a solution for this?
Hello, @MRGENC,
Actually the element you want to import from studio based on “Porto Product Category” element, and you are using the Full Site Editing mode in which we proposed “Post Grid” element instead. So in Full Site Editing mode Porto Product Category element is not available and that is the reason you are facing this issue.
Please refer to this article to understand more about FSE mode: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/unleashing-creative-freedom-with-porto-themes-full-site-editing-demos/
So you can use the Porto Post Grid element on your site with Full Site Editing mode and then set it as per your requirements.
OR if still you only want to import that element then you have to turn OFF the FSE mode.
Regards, P-THEMES.
