The code for the built in contact form is in the contact.php file, so you would need to edit that file to add more fields. But its much easier to use the plugin

But if you use contact form 7, then I suggest making a new page and inserting it there. And you can put the google map embed code in the post content field. That way you can have the google map with your form.

You can add other fields to our built in contact form, but you need to know how to edit the PHP files and add them. other users have went the easier route of using a plugin.

However, its currently open but our support staff is off until the 3rd of January due to the holidays. But I can help you via email if you wish. Send me an email and I can email you the CSS you need for layer slider button. You can use the one in our video and simply change out the color name for any of our 8 color skins. If you need a custom color then its more involved, you need all the CSS, including the rollover states.

Also, for the button in content boxes, just insert the button shortcode inside the content box shortcode. Remove the other text link inside of it.

Either way, please follow up via email, and then on the 3rd or later, you can use the support forum which is much better for the user. Tons of topics are already there for searching, and we have thousands of users who love to help. It makes it much easier than using the comments here on TF.

Yes its best to do it via FTP. All you need to do is simply replace the current Avada folder with the new Avada folder you get from the download.

Its located in “wp-content > themes” on your server.

And the reason why you get that error via WP is because the theme folder already exists there and wordpress is not able to overwrite it. Which is why we recommend doing updates via FTP. You can simply drag the new theme folder to the location I listed above, and it will ask you to replace the one that is there, click yes and you’re done

If you do it via WP, then you have to deactivate the current Avada theme, then delete it. Then install the new version. Content will not be lost either way FTP or WP.

There is a facebook like box widget in the widget area. Just make sure you are inserting a proper facebook URL. For example, set it up in your sidebar via the widgets area, and insert http://www.facebook.com/envato in the URL field to see that it works.

The Rev Slider does work, it just depends on what version of WP and the plugin you are using. It sounds like you are on an older version of the Rev. Slider that is not compatible with WP 3.5.

You need to download the new version of our theme, v2.0.5 and update it via FTP. It includes the new Rev. Slider plugin that works with WP 3.5.

And please read the READ ME FIRST file at root level, specifically #5 about the plugins. They are now integrated into the theme

And its best to update Avada via FTP, just replace the current “Avada” folder with the new one you get from the download.

So do you want to make the sub menu wider so the text is not cut off? That seems to be the issue when I check it.

If so, use the below CSS

#nav ul ul { width: 280px; }

And if I’ve already stated this I apologize, we get so many comments that its hard to keep track of what was what unless you hit “reply” to the same comment, that way it all stays together. If a new comment is made, then we cant see the older ones.

If you mean something else about the menu other than the width, please let me know in detail.

We just checked this on a few installs and do not see this issue. Try this, please replace your CSS files on your server with the original ones you received with your download. It appears something may have been changed if that is happening.

That has to be due to yoru theme options not working. You have to set a testimonial speed and also some other settings. So if you cant set those and save them as you stated before, then it has to be the cause.

I’m sorry but I just checked this multiple times and asked others to check it and no one can replicate the issues you are having.

And yes it is also compatible with IE10.

And videos appear for us in Firefox as well.

If there are any issues that we can verify, then we would certainly fix them. As you can see from our changelog, we are constantly updating the theme for users new features and any bug issues that arise.

If it works outside of the tabs without any modifications, then there must be a conflict with the form and tab code. It would also depend on the form itself.

Yes you can show or hide the top page title bar and breadcrumbs. And if you want, you can also show a search bar instead of the breadcrumbs. All of that is easily done via theme and page options.

And you can upload any size logo you wish, the space will be auto adjusted and then you can even adjust it further in theme options with header top and header bottom and main nav height to get it the way you want it. All of those fields are simply to change via theme options

They are in the main package in the “languages” folder.

You need to create languages folder in the theme folder and move them from the main package to those folders for po / mo files to work.

I’m sorry but I’m unsure of what you mean or are asking? Are you simply referring to the padding above and below the slider? Or the actual slider content at top and bottom?

Our layer slider on demo does not show that issue of the top/bottom 50px not being active. Can you post up your URL?
