Dessau is no longer able to update through the envato market plug-in. How to fix the error?: “Could not move old version to upgrade-temp-backup folder”. Folder is 755, disk space is very empty. It could only be corrupt theme files.
Please advise.

This error is not seem to be related to Dessau specifically. It is most likely related to the configuration settings on your server. You can try some suggestions from this link.
Also, we do recommend using FTP method when updating theme and plugins. After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

It’s important to stress that Envato does thorough examinations and inspects all the themes featured on their market, and this is especially true when it comes to the safety aspects. Moreover we, the theme authors, conduct additional tests to eliminate the possibility of there being any malicious content.
If any malicious content does appear to exist on your site, the most likely point of entry can be either the server, in which case you should handle this directly with your hosting provider, and the second possibility is that the malicious content originates from your computer, and it was transferred along with some of your content.
In case you are using Windows, sometimes Microsoft Defender Antivirus detects downloaded zip as false positive. In that case there is nothing to worry about, it is just a false positive.

I’m following up on the response provided, based on my review of the product and our ongoing issues. I received your message, but could not respond to that, and also could not submit a ticket as the support time for this template had expired.
We followed the steps outlined in the tutorial video you shared. Below are the specific problems we encountered: 1- As shown in the attached screenshots, when attempting to import the demo data, the only option that appears is “Sober” (where typically multiple demo items are included for other templates). When we click “Install,” it redirects to another page, but the installation process stalls and never completes. My team attempted this several times, and the outcome was the same each time. (I have attached two Snapshots ( File 1A & 1B). 2- Additionally, when we clicked on “Install Required Plugins” from the Dessau dashboard, we received the error message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” I’ve attached a snapshot for your reference (File 2C). Please advise on how to resolve these issues. Thank you. PS: Files could not be attached here.

The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need immediate update of any bundled plugin you can contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with the latest version.
The theme is supported and we will continue to update it, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.

The Dessau Core plugin crashed after a PHP update to 8.2 carried out by the hosting, an error message ‘Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces’ appears, so I had to reset to PHP version 7.4, it is very serious that a template and its plugin crash due to a PHP update, you should update the template and plugin as soon as possible.

Please check if you have updated the theme and its plugins to the latest version listed in change log.
If you need to update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
This could also be due to the lazy loading feature for images added in WordPress 5.5 version. Please try installing the Disable Lazy Load plugin and see if it helps.

If the domains are thematically related, like in this case, then the theme can be used on both. However, one of the domains needs to be added as a related domain. For this you should contact our support, include your purchase code and urls of these sites, and they will add the second domain as related domain.

Hi. My site has developed a critical error. I have tried updating everything but the error still remains. It seems to have something to do with JS Compser.

Hello. I want to buy this theme and I want to be sure of a few things.
First of all, I want to implement the theme without the shop, just as a presentation website. So: - I want to adapt this theme in order to represent a furniture company which is organizing the products on categories like: bathroom, kitchen, etc. I need to be able to structure the products/pages based on categories and to show them as a portfolio. I need to know if that will be customizable from the wordpress admin page, to not create each page manually and just use a template or something. Is there anything in place for this? - Are all demos and pages free to import and free of bugs? - Are the header and footer customizable? - Can the theme be customizable with elementor? For example: home page, about us page, etc. - Is the theme fully responsive also for mobile/tablet?
After that, I would like to implement also the shop. Can this be done later? Are there any issues that could appear?

Thanks for taking an interest! 1. You do not have to have WooCommerce which is used for ecommerce purpose. So what you can do is to create Portfolio items and categorise them and then on another page use our Portfolio list that can display all portfolios or a certain category that is set by you.
2. All that you can see on our demo website can be imported by One Click Demo Import.
3. You do have options for Header and footer, in terms of different layout as well as you can add additional widgets to your header.
4. The theme comes with WPBakery and it is not Elementor supported, but we do have many Elementor themes available as well.
5. The theme is responsive for sure and feel free to check our theme demo on any device to see its performance.

Should I pay in order to edit those things with wp bakery? For example, if I want to edit the font/colors/to add new columns, etc. If not, which are the available themes on your portfolio that can be edited with elementor?

1. Yes it can be done with WPBakery as the content is created with this plugin.
2. You do not need to pay any extra. The plugin comes bundled within the theme and you have our theme options for colors, fonts and with the builder you can add new columns, rows. You can read more about it here also check our themes documentation here
