They are a part of the design, however, they can be hidden with custom css below:
.edgtf-drop-down .second .inner ul li a .item_outer:before {
display: none;
}

}
You can add this css to Edge Options > General > Custom Css field.

Product photo gallery is terrible, too small, no thumbs, no touch sliding on mobiles

The theme has options where you can enable the Photo Swipe for product gallery images. If enabled, the gallery images will be opened in a lightbox, and you can slide the gallery images.

Hi, when are you planning the next update of the theme? My provider is switching to PHP version 8.4 by default (the current PHP version 7.4 is only supported until the end of January 2026). When will Maison be compatible?

The theme is supported and we will continue to update it, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.
The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need immediate update of any bundled plugin you can contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.

I would like to ask whether your Filter in Portfolio for Categories: 1) Has pagination (Page 1, Page 2 etc) and not only “Load More”, 2) If it works properly (when I click on a new category it takes me to Page 1 of each category).
I want to showcase more than 5000 codes on my website and it’s essential for me that pagination works correctly.

The category filter can only filter through portfolio items which are already loaded on the page.
You can achieve this by adding links to portfolio categories above the portfolio list, so once the link is clicked the category page with regular pagination will load.

We are having problems with the latest release of the Maison theme (which appears to be fairly old?). We now can’t upload portfolio images and edit various elements.
The issue has been isolated to the Edge CPT plugin that comes with the theme. We have tried earlier versions of theme/WP, but this has caused critical errors on the site, below are error details. Can you give any direction to fix this as soon as possible please?
WordPress version 6.2.1 Active theme: Maison (version 1.10) Current plugin: Edge CPT (version 1.0.2) PHP version 8.1.17

The Edge GPT is not showing that a newer version (1.2) as being available via the plugins area (only Version 1.0.2). Are there any other options for accessing this file? We urgently need to solve this, thank you

The update won’t be listed in Plugins > Installed Plugins. The plugins with the available update will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins as we previously mentioned (please see screenshot).

The Edge CPT plugin is already installed, we just need the higher version which is not showing in ‘Install Plugins’. I can’t attach a screen shot to this post to show you it’s not there. You mention “You can also locate .zip installable files on this path \wp-content\themes\maison\includes\plugins”. Have looked there and the only version available is the 1.0.2, as per installed. Can Edge CPT 1.2 be added to the theme files for installation and benefit to all users?
We couldn’t reproduce this on our end. The version of Edge CPT plugins listed in Appearance > Install Plugins is 1.2 (please see screenshot). Also, we’ve double checked and the version included in \wp-content\themes\maison\includes\plugins is also 1.2.
Are you sure you’ve updated the theme to latest 1.10 version? Could you please send us url of your site to check?

In your first message you wrote that you are running Maison (version 1.10) which is the latest version of theme listed in change log. You cannot update Edge CPT plugin without updating the theme to the latest version.
To update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

We back-dated to 1.10 only to test. The latest that is on the site is 1.3 as per our screen grab.
We have the latest theme installed, and the Edge GPT plugin is still not available. We just need the file somehow please.
We’ve checked and we see that you are still running the outdated theme version (please see screenshot).
As we previously mentioned, you need to update the theme first by following instructions from the article we’ve linked. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

We have attempted to update the theme. When we do this we encounter errors with how the site is displayed. You’ll see now with the current theme that it’s a blank homepage. We have had to revert at stages to ensure the site is visible for clients. It’s either; the new theme and not looking right visually or older theme and we can’t edit the portfolio and the Edge GPT has a fatal error. What do you suggest?

I’m using this theme on a client site and noticed that there is a conflict between it and WP Bakery. It’s not possible to use the frontend editor of WP Bakery with this theme now which is pretty crippling. Any ETA on a fix?
