I have downloaded the latest available version of Pirouette (v1.2.14) from ThemeForest, which I am fully entitled to as a purchaser.
However, there is a clear inconsistency:
According to your changelog (v1.2.8), the theme includes updated versions of WPBakery and Slider Revolution.
But the package currently available for download still contains outdated versions (e.g. Slider Revolution 5.4.8.3).
This means that the product I can download today does not match what is officially documented.
This is not a support request — it is about access to the correct and up-to-date files that are part of the product.
Could you please clarify:
– why the downloadable files do not match the changelog – where the correct versions can be obtained
This issue is currently blocking the proper update and security of a live site.

After updating the theme you need to update the included plugins to the current version supported by the theme, through the auto-update notifications displayed in your dashboard. This will install the plugins from our auto-update server. If you do not see the auto-update notifications in your dashboard, please try to temporarily activate the default WP theme and then activate Pirouette again. This should push the auto-update notifications. All the best.

I followed your instructions carefully: – theme updated to latest version (1.2.14) – plugins auto-update triggered – theme deactivated/reactivated However, the update process fails. The dashboard shows: “Aucune archive de mise à jour disponible” (no update package available)
As a result: – WPBakery remains stuck at 6.0.3 – Slider Revolution remains at 5.4.8.3 (known vulnerable version)
So your auto-update server is not delivering any plugin updates.
This is not a configuration issue on my side the update system itself is not working.
At this point, the product cannot be used safely on a live site.
Please provide: – a working update source or – the correct and current plugin versions included with the theme

We are not aware of any issues with our plugins server. It is the default way for all our clients to install plugins and there were no similar issues reported. I’m using your “Pirouette” theme (purchased in 2019, still updated recently).
I’m currently trying to update a client site to a modern PHP version (PHP 8+), but I’m facing a blocking issue:
The bundled plugins (WPBakery and Slider Revolution) are very outdated (e.g. Slider Revolution 5.4.8.3), which causes compatibility errors and security issues.
Even after downloading the latest theme version, the included plugin versions remain outdated.
Could you clarify: – whether updated versions of these plugins are provided somewhere, – or if there is a recommended way to handle PHP 8 compatibility with your theme?

Why you say there is no issue with php 8.x version?? I tested it and when I activate the Bakery plugin I get this: PHP Fatal error: Unparenthesized `a ? b : c ? d : e` is not supported. Use either `(a ? b : c)
I have to switch to php 7.x before activating, and after activated I switch back to 8.x. You should really check and do an update on the theme or plugin!

The theme is not compatible with Elementor, it comes with WP Bakery plugin for free, which is the recommended plugin to use as content builder. The demo content is build as well with this plugin. The theme has not been tested with ultimate member plugin, but we are not aware of any conflicts with this plugin. We do not have RTL support for our products. The theme might function correctly by default, but for RTL we can not guarantee all elements will be displayed correctly on all screen sizes. All the best.

Hi, I like your theme and would like to oreder it. But your current demo website is having problems on mobile platform (I’ve tested on Pixel 7a and in Chrome for desktop in mobile device emulation mode). 1. After a collapsed menu item is chosen (Welcome, Studio, or Classes), subitems are shown for a quick moment, then the menu disappears redirecting to the webpage related to the section. 2. The carousel at the bottom of demo pages is not moving, only two first images are shown.
Could you look into these issues when you have a chance?

Please open a pre sale ticket on out support platform with a screenshot of these issues you are encountering and we will take a look. The mobile issue you are describing might be already fixed in the current version, as the live demo is using an older theme version and we have made in the meantime several improvements to mobile menu behaviour on android devices. Still, we did not test with your mobile device in particular. All the best.

We do not have Woocommerce in our theme demo, because it is not a key component and the theme does not have custom templates or integration. Still, the theme is compatible so it should work fine. All the best.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to display the scroll-down text on a page if the page heading has been deactivated. Is it possible to insert the scroll-down text manually if the page header is deactivated?

I am not sure I understand correctly which is the scroll-down text element, but if you are asking about the navigation section titles, these are added in the row settings fields. You can edit the row, go in the Section Navigator tab and fill in the Section Title field. I have a question about the WPBakery element Filmstrip Carousel. In some browsers (e.g. Firefox) the carousel does not start. It just stands statically. When I reload the page, the carousel works. Is this a bug in the filmstrip carousel element? This error can also be observed in the Live Preview of this theme.

Are you encountering this issue only on particular browsers like Firefox and it loads fine on Chrome for example? This should not be related to browser, but to the script not being loaded correctly or completely in the first page load. Still, if you give us more details about the behaviour with different browsers, we can investigate this further. All the best.
I have tested it with the most common browsers.
With the following browsers under Windows, the carousel does not rotate or only after the page has been reloaded:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Edge
- Opera
On MacOS it works immediately with the Opera browser. It can be assumed that the script is not loaded correctly under Windows when the website is first loaded.

This is a common error when trying to upload the wrong .zip file. You need to install the pirouette.ZIP file that is inside the download package ZIP, not the whole ZIP. Open the ZIP archive that you got from Theme Forest and take out pirouette.ZIP. That is the theme file that you need to install. All the best.
Hello there, a customer who bought your theme and as a layman can’t cope with it at all, commissioned me for the installation. I found that the importer for the widgets isn’t working. Which plugin (name) do you use? The plugin of ChurchThemes.com definitely does not work. This just wants its own .like files.

Hi, using the Pirouette Dance theme… updated the theme to latest version 1.2.1 but the WPBakery plugin does not update, even Dashboard plugin updating (theme essential plugin)..this should work, doesn’t it?

After updating the theme, you should see the auto-update notification for the plugin in your dashboard. If this notification does not appear, try activating the default WP theme and then activating the theme again. As a last resort, you can delete the plugin and install it again after the theme pushes the install notification. All the best.
