Good morning, the last two updates do not let me do them.

I get the following error: An error occurred while updating Riode: already_used.

What is the solution to this?

Thanks

Hi,

How do i keep the sidebar content always open?

For example in this demo https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/demo-26/ the sidebar is closed by default in 2560 screen resolutions

Thank you

Hello, @tunik,

This you can make by enabling the homepage sidebar.By doing this, the sidebar will remain open on the homepage.

To achieve this, enable the homepage sidebar in the WP-Dashboard by navigating to WP-Dashboard -> Riode -> Layouts. Once there, activate the sidebar for the homepage.

Please refer to the provided image for guidance: https://postimg.cc/ZW7zSWBh

Furthermore, in the WP-Dashboard -> Riode -> Sidebar section, you can create a new sidebar and assign it to the homepage. Don’t forget to populate this new sidebar with widgets to display on the homepage.

This will result in an open sidebar on the homepage, similar to the demo: https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/demo-18/

Great! Thank you!

You’re Most Welcome!!

Your theme (Riode Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.

How to fix this?

Hello, @fordiy,

Sorry for the inconvenience, it is showing only a single WooCommerce template as outdated because WooCommerce releases it’s update and that is why the single template of the theme has outdated, Our Development Department is working on the Theme Update and hopefully soon enough you will find an updated version of the theme with solved this outdated template issue so until that please be patience.

We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Regards don-themes.

Today we updated your theme and once we ran the update our site stopped working with the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Return value of ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Node\Number::offsetGet() must be an instance of ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Node\mixed, string returned in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Node/Number.php:186 Stack trace: #0 /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Parser.php(3311): ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Node\Number->offsetGet(0) #1 /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Parser.php(3312): ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Parser->flattenList(Object(ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Node\Number)) #2 /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Parser.php(3271): ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Parser->flattenList(Array) #3 /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Parser.php(861): ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Parser->stripAssignmentFlags(Array) #4 /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Parser.php(200): ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Parser->parseChunk() #5 in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/plugins/scssphp/src/Node/Number.php on line 186

Any idea what this means? I googled it but found no results for this error with your theme. Thanks!

You’re Most Welcome!!

Just wanted to let you know that re-uploading the files fixed the issue. Thank you very much for your help!

Sound’s Good!! & You’re Most Welcome!!

I downloaded the last uptake from today and now I have no more free access to the products category on my homepage. Now I need to pay Elementor PRO to get this function. How come?

Its ok, fixed.

Hello, @emmalondon14,

Sound’s Good!!

Regards don-themes.

There is a bug on Product Categories Elementor Widget. When you put more then one in the same page in diferent Elementor Sections or Containers, even if you set the Category Type for the widget, only the first one is rendered correctly. The other widgets get a default style with a heart icon on top. It is strange, because on elementor edit mode, it is rendering fine.

Hello, @arymaynart,

Apologies for any inconvenience experienced with our theme.

We have conducted thorough testing using the Riode theme’s product category widget in Elementor. Our examination reveals that the functionality is operating as expected. For your convenience, we have provided a video as a reference to illustrate the proper behavior:

Hi,

I cannot decide what demo to import. For example, I like https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/wpb-demo-22/ but I would prefer the sticky menu to be the black bar with the green “Shop by Categories” – and I hope that it will possible to add on this bar the shopping cart icon, so it will always be visible. Is it possible?

Also, the https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/wpb-kid/ and https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/wpb-demo-11/ are really nice, the sticky menu is as I would like to be (again I hope that it will possible to add on this bar the shopping cart icon), but the vertical categories menu does not have sub menus / mega menus. Is it possible?

I plan to use WP Bakery.

Thank you

Hello, @gneto,

Thank you for reaching out and expressing your interest in our demos. I appreciate your detailed feedback on the specific features you’re looking for, and I’m here to provide clarity on the sticky section functionality.

Regarding the sticky menu, I want to inform you that the sticky behavior is applied to entire sections rather than individual elements within a section. While you can certainly make sections sticky and add elements like the shopping cart icon, please note that making a separate section exclusively sticky is not currently possible.

You do have the flexibility to customize the sticky sections by adding or modifying elements, including the shopping cart icon, and adjusting their colors using the page builder. However, keep in mind that the stickiness is applied at the section level rather than isolating specific elements within a section.

Hello. Is it possible to display a different header menu for a specific Shop page? I am building out a Wholesale side for a website and would like a different menu to appear for wholesale users. Thank you very much.

You’re Most Welcome!! :)

I have another issue please:

I have two sides to my website: Retail and Wholesale. When wholesale customers log in, they are taken to the wholesale-store page.

I have followed your instructions and have created the new template called WholesaleShopHeader with the template type as “header. I have also created a new page layout called WholesaleMenu.

Within the WholesaleMenu page layout, I have set the Header to WholesaleShopHeader. I have also set the conditions to Pages, Individual Pages, Wholesale Store.

Unfortunately when wholesale customers are logged in and on the wholesale-store page, the “default” original custom header on the Global Layout still shows and does not display the WholesaleShopHeader.

Also, currently, there is also “Shop” page layout is set to show on Shop Pages, All Shop Pages. I don’t see a way to exclude certain shop pages.

What I am trying to achieve is to display the WholesaleShopHeader on the wholesale-store page.

Thank you in advance.

Any known compatibility issues with the WooMultistore plugin?

Hello, @einwood,

Regrettably, we haven’t conducted official compatibility tests for the “WooMultistore” plugin with our theme. It’s not currently listed among the third-party plugins confirmed to be compatible on our Item Page.

If it casues the issue, it will be hand to stem from the third-party plugin, requiring customization for seamless integration with the theme. As per Envato Policy, our support doesn’t extend to addressing third-party plugin-related concerns.

To address this, you’ll need to reach out to the support team of the “WooMultistore” plugin for guidance, as they are better equipped to assist with compatibility matters.

On a positive note, our Riode theme is designed to work seamlessly with multivendor plugins such as Dokan, WCFM, and MultivendorX. If you encounter any issues or have inquiries related to these supported plugins, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Hello,

The website I had used Riode has been shut down a few months ago. I cannot remember if had de-registered your theme before the hosting termination. I would like to use it for another website. Should I try to use it and see how it will proceed?

Is it working with php7.2? The site (e-shop / woocommerce) I’m planning to use it runs 7.2. I cannot use 7.4 because it crashes. So I need to use 7.2 for a while and after installing Riode I will switch to 7.4

Thank you

Riode and Porto seem to come from different authors, but they are very similar. Can you please tell me what is the difference between these themes ? Is the functionality of Porto fully available in Riode ? Or are these themes not related to each other at all ?

Hello, @Zkkins,

Well, Porto and Riode both are good at performance, functionality and design. But Riode is a new trending eCommerce theme including many outstanding features for clients. Especially, it’s fully customizable and easy to use.

On the other hand, Porto also have their own captivating features.

To better understand the functionalities of both themes, I recommend checking the official documentation for each. You can find detailed information about their features, settings, and any unique aspects they offer. Here are the links to the official documentation for both themes:

https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/
https://d-themes.com/wordpress/riode/documentation/

Feel free to explore these resources to gain a comprehensive understanding of each theme’s capabilities. If you have any specific questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Regards don-themes.

I can’t create an account on your website; I can only do it through email. After installing Riode, it seems there are various issues. Please take a look at the attached images. How can I resolve this problem?

Thank you. https://imgur.com/undefined https://imgur.com/jc9t1Ah

Hello, @asong528,

In order to align these elements, You need to edit the Header with the page builder(Elementor).

Just navigate to the WP-Dashboard panel >> Riode >> Look for Templates >> Header Builder >> Edit the header with the Elementor.

Now in Elementor editing panel, you can align these elements by moving them down by setting the margin.

See Screenshot: https://postimg.cc/sGRV43Yr

By doing configurations, you can set these elements per your requirements.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.

Hi. Great solution, but I have a question – is it possible to set different header on different pages in your theme? For example, for the main page the header1, for the product page the header 2. Thanks

Hello, @mishasmile,

You can definitely set different headers for different pages in the Riode theme. To achieve this, you’ll need to utilize the Templates Builder feature within the theme. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you accomplish this:

Create Custom Headers: Start by using the Templates Builder feature to create the headers you want. You can design Header 1 for the main page and Header 2 for the product page, for example.

Assign Headers to Pages: After creating your custom headers, you’ll need to assign them to specific pages. You can do this through the layout options in the theme settings. Here’s how:

Navigate to WP-Dashboard >> Riode >> Layouts. There you will see the different pages layouts. You can specify headers for different pages there.

Tutorial Video: For a more detailed explanation and visual guidance, you can check this video tutorial. It will walk them through the process step by step and provide a clearer understanding of how to set different headers for different pages using the Riode theme.

I switched themes in testing and when I switched back all of my Riode theme customizer edits reverted as well as the Riode page layouts (colors, fonts, logo, layouts, woocommerce options, etc.)! I have opened a ticket about this as well but it is a crucial issue others should know how to fix and there’s nothing in the documentation about it.

Hello, @springmeadow,

If you were using a staging site, then you can import theme options by navigating to your Dashboard > Riode > Theme Options > Advanced > Import/Export/Reset. You’ll find the option to download Theme Options: https://postimg.cc/MfXpZ6x7

However, for a full backup of your site, the theme itself does not provide this functionality. In this case, you may need to reach out to your Hosting Provider and inquire if they can offer a solution or option to run a complete backup of your site.

Looking ahead, it’s advisable to maintain a backup of your site before making any changes. This can be easily accomplished using various backup plugins. One of the commonly used plugins for this purpose is UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/ .Keeping regular backups ensures the safety and security of your website during any future actions or changes

Hope you have understood.

Regards don-themes.

Yikes! Switching the theme for troubleshooting is one of the most basic steps to take with Wordpress. The fact that doing so could lead to needing to restore a backup is completely unacceptable for my purposes.

Hello, @springmeadow,

Sorry for inconvenience caused while using the Riode theme. We have already replied to your support ticket, please check back our reply there and then reply back to the ticket accordingly.

Regards don-themes.

Hi there…

Your support page has a critical error.

I have an issue when importing Templates from Riode Studio. I get this error message.

“Security issue found! Please try again later”.

Thanks

Hello, @getmebranded,

To resolve the issue you’re facing, you can follow these steps to reactivate your theme license using the same purchase code:

Log in to your website’s WordPress admin panel.

Navigate to the ‘Riode’ and Look for the ‘License’ or ‘Activation’ tab

Click on the ‘Deactivate License’ button to deactivate the theme license.

After deactivation, you can then re-enter the same purchase code in the ‘License’ or ‘Activation’ tab to reactivate the theme.

After re-activating, checkback your site again. Hope so you will get a desired result.

Regards don-themes.

Perfect… thank you. Great theme by the way.

You’re Most Welcome!! :)
