Hi there, Header layout is having 3 section. Top bar, middle and bottom bar. Can I add one more atvthe very top even before the top bar just to place one ad banner. If not, Hiw can I use elementor header to replace jnews deafult header. Thank you.

if you want to add an advertisement above the top header you can add it from Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > JNews: Advertisement > Header Ads
in that setting you can activate the Enable Above Header Advertisement, please check the screenshot below

I can’t seem to find my Jnews header, I tried adding elementor header and it worked. SO, how can I restore my Jnews header.

you can find the JNews header builder at Appearance > Customize > JNews: Header Option below the screen will appear the JNews Header builder, you can use it to arrange the elements in the header, please check the screenshot below

Still not working
It’s still not working, it seems only the Elementor header is active, so it’s what’s currently showing, before all of this, it was showing “Logo” and without any menu.

Does Jnews support Cloudflare Turnsite / Google Capcha on the log in / register / forgot password etc pop ups ? If not i request to enable this feature. Already using Turnsite on default login/register etc pages by using “Simple Cloudflare Turnstile” wp plugin. If this feature can be added by using plugin with Jnews compatibility for front end login/register pop ups, this will be great. Thanks in advance for considering.

Just make Jews compatible with “Simple Cloudflare Turnstile” plugin. If this plugin is installed, Turnsite no interection captcha will show up in the front end login pop up. This should be easy to implement.

You’re welcome! Hope the Jnews team takes this seriously. I just wanted to share my experience again. I installed “Simple Cloudflare Turnstile” plugin, no interection captcha is working fine on default WP login/register/forgot password/comments etc. But when I try to login via front end pop up login/ register, I’m getting validation error as it cannot validate/verify Turnsite captcha. Even Though Turnsite captcha is not showing up on the pop up form. Hope this helps. Thanks in advance and take care.

This is a great theme for online magazines! However, after the last update, I can’t update the plug-ins for the template in the admin interface (e.g. WPBakery 7.2). There is no Update button for any of them in the JNews Dashboard. What could be the reason for this? Can I download them from somewhere separately to install them manually?

I can’t deactivate the WPBakery plug-in in the JNews Dashboard because it says the license key is not valid. It offers to update, but when it runs, it does not update and continues to offer to update. Should I delete it via FTP? Where should I find it there? Because I can’t find it in the plugins directory.

if your license is invalid, please try to reset your license, you can log in to your website as administrator
and then try to visit this URL, remember to replace “yourdomain” in the URL below with your domain
yourdomain/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jnews&path=jnews&action=reset-licenses
after you visit the link you can try to activate the license
you can also try to deactivate the WP bakery from the WordPress plugin dashboard and delete it from there
you can also delete it via FTP you can find it inside /wp-content/plugins/js_composer
js_composer is the folder name for WP Bakery

Hi, I am planning to purchase your theme but I need to know if you have the integration for paid membership pro or if you are planning to do so. Your membership features are not very secure and extensive as anyone can disable the javascript and read the content. I want to know if you can develop the integration of paid membership pro in your theme in next version release. This will definitely allow me to make a great website. I checked your theme and it currently doesn’t have a solid membership features to run a membership site. sorry we haven’t tested membership pro with our theme yet, if you are referring to our paywall plugin the blocked content by paywall won’t showing if the javascript is disabled in the browser, because the blocked content processed in php before the content displayed on the frontend so the if javascript disabled in the browser, it won’t affect it

Hi, you didn’t reply to my questions. Is it possible for you guys to integrate the paid membership pro so that we can at least have a solid membership features? For example, we can allow and disallow users to access certain things based on their membership level. I am quite surprised at the way you guys are sending replies. It’s so plain and without any thoughts. If you don’t have plan to integrate it then at least improve your membership plugin which has a lot of bugs in it. It’s not working properly.
Hi, seems your new templates are looking more old mobile responsive than new. The post list view images are way too small to where the images are illegible. Also the title on your green right of brown the take up too much width space on mobile phones. Category of post and source should be visible as well. See https://www.yahoo.com/

- we also agreed with previous commenter. We have started to consider more modern looking mobile first themes because Jnews demos have not evolved and look dated.

if you are referring to module 1 or module 3 that has a small image on mobile, We actually designed JNews module 1 and module 3 like that, we designed some modules to have different image sizes to give some options if you want to have a bigger image on mobile we have some module that has a big image on mobile such as
Module 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 22, 25, 26, 27, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 39
we also have some modules that show the category of the post and have a big image on the mobile

Excuse auto fill typo. Title on right of image is what we meant. Titles on right of image as shown in the image link should look balanced on mobile screen. Option to show sponsor small logo, category, and author.
we have some modules that show the category and author, but we didn’t have the option to show the sponsor and small logo yet, we will consider adding it to our feature request list, but sorry we can’t promise it will be available soon

Guys I bought this theme years ago, hoping you would keep developing your demos but you are simply adding new ones that are just the same as previous ones, simply with some new touches. Are you planning to create newer versions of the Play It Demo Version and if so, then when exactly? They are all outdated!!! Getting old are we!

When i use Cloudflare APO the site gets superfast, but frontage does not update content is like the front is frozen on most browsers.

this may be related to how Cloudflare APO works, Cloudflare APO caches your website so that it can be displayed more quickly, but the changes you make are not immediately visible, so please try to clear the cache of the Cloudflare first, you also can try to disable the Cloudflare plugin for a while

if the changes that you made related to the CSS or javascript that not updated directly it may not related to our theme, You can check whether your website has a caching plugin from a third party, if so you can try temporarily disabling the caching plugin to see whether there is a change or not

2. please make sure the WordPress file permissions and ownership are correct on your server, you can use this documentation below as a reference for WordPress file permission and ownership

I am using Jnews on 12 domains, currentlt I have POP CULTURE template on all of them but I want to switch to NEWSPAPER on each of them. Also I don’t want any kind of dummy content to appear. I want complete website similar as NEWPAPER template.

I have the loading issue in several places (when click on it) in the settings footer options, single options, etc. I see only the buffering logo and nothing, refreshed the page, cleared the cache, and re-installed the theme, but nothing works. I am using Cloudways.
