The vulnerability was related to the Salient Core plugin, not the theme. The current version of the Salient Core plugin is v2.0.5. You just need to go to your plugins section in the WP admin and update the Salient plugins.

Hey Oliver, the video background layer within rows will always display fully covering the row area as long as you provide a standard 16:9 aspect ratio video. However, I’ve noted the idea to also automatically handle other aspect ratios.

yes, I know. The idea is, to have the same possibility as when depositing an image in a row as a background (phone, tablet, desktop). So different sources for a Background vid…on divi it is possible 4 example.

You’ll need to change the Blog Format to be “Contained + Sidebar” in the Salient options > Blog > General settings tab, and then ensure that you have the “Hide Sidebar on Single Post” disabled in the Single post tab.

Hi! No, I´ve been using Salient for years in 3 websites it´s occuring. For example, for the url https://vivraestudio.com/agencia-branding-corporativo/ if I test the published url in S. Console I´ve that the title is the following: <title>Agencia Branding Corporativo y Diseño Gráfico • Vivra Estudio</title>. I changed the separator from ”-” to “·” 3 days ago.

If I repeat the procedure for the indexed url I have <title>Agencia Branding Corporativo y Diseño Gráfico • Vivra Estudio</title>

So it seems that the title is being generated ok, but I just was wondering if any update in the theme or whatever caused it as it´s occuring in the 3 websites. I know that Google can modify the title by itself but it doesn´t make sense to change it in 500 items.

Hey Vivraestudio, thanks for clarifying. We haven’t changed anything related to title generation in Salient. Upon checking the source code of your page, it appears that the title is specified correctly according to your format. It seems to be a case of Google rewriting the titles for some reason.

Its the block “Parallax Images and text”, i want to change the images if possible.

See the first two-columns Recent Posts underneath the main banner https://galleriimage.dk/ I would like that the img-thumbnail doesn’t compress this image, and that Salient doesn’t compress any image for that matter. I installed the suggested “function salient_child_remove_image_sizes() {” and have deleted the “//” from the beginning of all image sizes.

Please, help me as this is fairly urgent. I need Salient to stop generating low res images.

Hey quomo, I would recommend creating that layout using the Post Loop Builder element so you can define your own image size from within the element settings.

However, if you want to stick with the Recent Posts element, the size served for that style is called “portfolio-thumb”. You would need to remove or add your own size for that specific size and then regenerate your thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I’ve tried that but the envato verification isn’t working, just reloads the same page.

Do you have an active support license on the account which you’re trying to post on the support forum from and have you tried a different browser yet?

We’re seeing this issue still atm, including an empty cart when clicking on the pop out cart, products are only visible added to the cart when the user reloads the page or visits another page.

Seems to only occur on the product page. If adding a product from the shop page there is no issue.

1. All products on the archive template should already have an add to cart button available. Can you please share your URL in regards so that I can take a look at your settings?

2. There is currently no list view option for the product archives. However, you can change the column number for each viewport in the Salient options > WooCommerce > General tab to give your products more space if you’re using longer titles.
