I purchased your theme it’s good and I wish to purchase second time but I have some problems

how can I customize your theme there is not a much-customized option or disable

1. not duplicate section or block 2. not run a mega menu 3. Do not use two different menus in one header 4. not to change the position of a block or section 5. can’t add a button 6. and many more 7. The customization option is very limited and I’m not comfortable because before this I made a woocommerce website

so in general I can’t customize your theme so suggest to me how can i customize this theme or suggest some video

Thank you for loving Ella theme and consider for the second purchase. You can see our replies in below:

1. not duplicate section or block

=> We are not quite to understand this. In our theme, you can add more than 1 for the same section or block within a page. Only blocks within a section which is set up for using only one within a section that will not be duplicated. So you can send us screenshot for this to verify with you.

2. not run a mega menu

=> Our mega menu function is working very well, if you are having an issue with mega menu, you can contact our support via https://halosoft.ticksy.com/ and we can check your setting or check your code.

3. Do not use two different menus in one header

=> You can use it very well, there is no limitation to use different menus in one header.

4. not to change the position of a block or section

5. can’t add a button 6. and many more 7. The customization option is very limited and I’m not comfortable because before this I made a woocommerce website

=> You cannot compare shopify with woocommerce because they provide different ability in customization. If you are a developer, you will want to use woocommerce to customize it like you want, but Shopify tends to an easy to use platform for merchants.

The Shopify Inbox still does not work, and no proper answer was given as to why. To my knowledge, Shopify has made updates to how their Inbox app works, updating the liquid code for it and moving the admin panel into the theme. For some reason, Ella does not support this because I have tried other themes, and it works fine.

For those having this issue, you can always test it using a default Shopify theme, and you’ll notice it works fine. However, when you test it using Ella, it does not work. Please address this issue. Thank you.

It appears that there has been an update to how the Shopify Inbox works on stores within the platform. This update indicates that the Shopify Inbox is now integrated through the theme rather than the admin. However, this has caused an issue where customers can no longer view the chat widget on the online store. Please fix this as soon as possible. (ELLA 6.5.3 )

Immediately dissatisfied. After finally understanding that uploading the theme isn’t the only thing you have to do to get their theme working, that there is code you need to replace in the theme, trying to edit the home page showed issues. Firstly the newsletter popup just messes up everything. You can’t make any changes to the settings once it’s popped up so you need to turn it off to edit styles and content for longer than a minute or so. Changing the logo on the main header does nothing. It just doesn’t take the file when before the index, settings and header code was altered, it could. Randomly while editing my cursor will turn into a strange closed first icon and you can’t click on anything to make edits so you need to save and refresh the page to start editing again. Annoying. On top of that, there doesn’t seem to be a way to make the header menu tabs of text for each of your page links but instead it’s just a hamburger pop out. I have searched everywhere to change this so it looks like their demo site and can not for the life of my figure it out. I consider myself to be rather savvy and know some basic html and css that gets me by but user experience on shopify AND halo’s part is lacking.

I might have to request a refund because so far i’ve changed almost nothing about my site and that’s a massive let down after spending $80.

- For the newsletter popup, in the default theme source, we enable main functions on so if you want to set up, just need to disable it and enable later.

- All themes which has multiple layouts will use the default homepage and all contents will need your configuration to create a website you want with the theme.

- For the hambuger icon, if you are using laptop and edit the theme in theme editor, it has 2 sidebars on the left and right for the editor panel, so the theme in center will have a very small screen and it is responsive as tablet.

How would one go about a refund? I’ve spent the past several days making up the website and unfortunately my experience has not been as expected and I really believe I kept my expectations reasonable and low. What do I need to do to disable the automatic selection variant? This is needed for my client. The first picture does not show the pictures of the product. Since it is a variant, the variant image appears first. I need to disable this

This is the default logic for product variants in Shopify. When you go to the product page, it will select the first variant for pre-selection.

If you want to disable this and require a user to choose a variant before adding to cart, it will be custom work.

Good day, I am extremely frustrated I added a new loaction to my Store Locator Page and now none of the stores are showing, nor the map, the page is blank?

Looking at your live preview below the Home Page layouts, I see five tabs, “Category Pages,” “Collection Pages,” “Product Pages,” etc… I need clarification about when to use the Category and Collection Pages. Are Categories and Collections the same? I see a different layout but need help understanding when to use one or the other. I have looked into the theme’s documentation and can find information about the Collection pages, but I need help finding something about Category pages. Do the Collection and Category pages serve the same purpose, and the Ella theme offers them on different page layouts?

In the preview link you see, the category and collection page are different pages. Collection page is a page containing category pages, depending on your setup. With Ella theme, you can use many different page layouts.
