I would like to enable shortcodes to work in the porto info box’s title or subtitle fields, but it doesn’t render. The shortcode just renders as plain text instead of the dynamic field. It works fine in the “description” box with the expected output.
I am trying to have the user name dynamic populate if it exists for their account icon.

Sorry to say that you cannot set the shortcode in the title and sub-title fields because these are just static input fields whatever you write in them will appear as it is on the site.
So this is not possible to set the shortcode in the title and sub-title fields for now, If you want this feature in the theme, You can submit this as a feature request on our support forum so that our development department will remember it while working on the theme update: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/feature-request/

I want to change the H2 to H1 in products. (Product tittle by default is H2).
This is the solution by Porto, create a new layout for product and assign to the product page as I understand.

First of all, please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single Product and create the layout from there as per your requirements for your single product page, please refer to our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/single-product-builder-elements/
Now, by default “product title” element is set in the h2 tag.
So instead of using the product title element, we suggest, please use the Porto ultimate heading element, and set it as listed:
Main Heading: Post/Author
Object Field: Title

Do you want to remove the page number from the URL while pagination? If so, then unfortunately, there is no such option to remove only the number.
Instead you can try to use the load more or infinite scroll functionality.
The bottom line is, that there is no such possible feature to remove the number from the URL when using pagination, this is the default functionality and changes requires extra code customization.

Hello! I need to set a featured image to all my pages (home page included). I need to choose the image showed when an user share the link on whatsapp/Facebook and more. By default the featured image can be show on the page at top, but if you only want to use the featured image but do not want to show it on page top, then you can easily hide it using Custom CSS, Please share the URL of the page on which that featured image is appearing, I can check and provide you with the Custom CSS to remove it.

You can try with the below given CSS code as well, Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

And as you are using the header builder on your site, so to change the color, please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header and edit the particular header from there, and then change the color from there, save changes and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Hi P-Themes.
After installing the Wordpress only files, I’m seeing a different error. First, when going to my website (cloudcommercialsales.com), some elements on the page don’t load, there is “[porto_block name=”home-top-adds” tracking=”meta-content_top”]” written above the left column, and the console shows error “Uncaught ReferenceError: Modernizr is not defined”. In the “porto” directory I do see “js/libs/modernizr.js”, but the website isn’t finding it.
In my wp-admin page I see a notification that “This theme requires the following plugin: Porto Functionality”. But if I click “Begin installing Plugin” it attempts to install and then says failed. I’m not sure if these two errors are related.
Is there a known fix for this?

Absolutely these issues are related with each other.
Porto Functionality is the required plugin to use the theme, its a core plugin.
Please navigate to Porto >> Theme License and unregister the theme from there and then re-register the theme with the same purchase code. After that please navigate to Appearance >> Install Plugins and try to Install the plugin from there.

I don’t know if the theme support this feature. There is a warning in Rocket in this option says: “this can break things”.

That is because you choose content source as “term” and In WordPress, a “taxonomy” is a grouping mechanism for some posts (or links or custom post types)...
The names for the different groupings in a taxonomy are called terms.
Using groupings of animals as an example, we might call one group “birds”, and another group “fish”. “Fish” and “birds” are terms in our taxonomy.
That is the reason it shows the particular category as chosen term.
If you wish to show the products by choosing the particular category then please set the Porto Posts Grid element setting as listed below:
Content Source = Posts
Post Type = Products
Taxonomies = Product Categories
