Hi guys! Thanks for the best theme on themeforest! Im having strange problems with some of my sites. WPbakery editor isnt loading on the backend. On console Im getting this error: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING
This is all I get o the backend: https://prnt.sc/w5ldd__SsrfZ
Here is an example of some of the sites: https://www.pposa.co.za/ https://www.eeb.co.za/But its happening to all of them (20)
Hey richardwells, have you tried to see if you can get that to occur on more than one computer? The error sounds like something might be blocking the asset from loading locally.
Kind regards
Hi there, yes. If I try on a different network or computer it still doesnt work..
Hey richardwells, are all of your sites that it’s occurring on using the same server setup? That specific error is related to something interrupting the loading of your assets from the server, which could be from a handle of things e.g. a local or server firewall, incorrect caching/.htaccess rules etc. If the issue just started occurring for you seemingly out of nowhere, I would also reach out to your hosting company to see if they can shed some light on it. We would be happy to follow up with you if you would like to open a ticket on the support forum in regards
I have 4 licenses of this theme. I like your work.
Please advice regarding security..
Is only the core plugin affected by these bulletins, or also the theme files themselves? I would like to know if you have an info page for this somewhere, so I can subscribe to it?

Those issues were specific to the Salient Core plugin, and patched within the same week that they were reported last year. When updates are released, you will get an email to the email associated with your Envato account where you purchased the license. The change log is located here: https://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Kind regards
Thank you this changelog is great.
One suggestion: Few people manage to make all the updates. Please mark critical updates, so that people understand these are mandatory for security.
Hey ravi000,
Thanks for the suggestion – it’s been noted.

Hi,
with the new version of Salient the plugin “WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor” from WooCommerce doesn’t work anymore. It doesn’t show the fields.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hey evoluzionecommerce
Are you using the classic checkout or the new block based checkout and have you also verified that the issue is not present when switching to the default WP theme in your setup?
Kind regards
Hi! The new block based.
When I switch to the default theme or even to a previous version of Salient the issue is not present.
If I switch to the classic checkout, it works. I’ll keep this instead of the new (despite the block based is nicer).
Thanks
The plugin is not compatible with the new block based https://prnt.sc/LD8iMSIsjkGV
Hey evoluzionecommerce, thanks for letting me know. What’s odd is that you were seeing it still render the fields when using the block based checkout on an older version of Salient. If you’d like to follow up on that, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards
Thanks in advance
It was not about the version of Salient. It’s based on the classic checkout page. I’ve missed that, because I was testing on two different websites. Thanks for the support
Thanks for the clarification, evoluzionecommerce
Cheers
Hey guys,
A couple of questions.
1) How do I change the background color of just 1 page. For example, if the entire website is #FFFFFF and I just want our About page to be of a different color. How should I do that including the Header?
2) I’m looking to implement a pre-loader when sometime visit the website’s Home and not other pages (something similar to websites built using Webflow). How can I achieve that on a single homepage and not all pages?
Thank you.
Hey asingh2404,
1. You could utilize CSS that is specific to the page by adding it into the page CSS box (top right gear icon in the editor) https://ibb.co/FndB0mW If you would like assistance with this snippet, kindly open a ticket on the support forum in regards
2. You would need to add the preloaded markup via the Raw HTML page builder element and then add in your desired CSS within the page CSS box.
Kind regards
after updating v16.1.3 (1/4/24) salient, and Rank mach 1.0.207, there is a conflict in wordpress tabs:
/edit.php?post_type=page /edit.php /edit.php?post_type=salient_g_sections
after restoring salient v16.1.2 or changing the template to the default Twenty Twenty-Three 1.3 – the problem goes away.
Hey jarektom,
When testing locally, I can’t see anything odd occurring in those sections e.g. https://ibb.co/kQngwwQ
Can you please provide more details of the conflict you’re observing?
Kind regards
Hey Phil, hope you are well! Tell me, is it possible to use Image for Logo AND plain text (generated from site name), both at the same time?
Hey barreoblique!
There’s no built-in option to do that, however, you You could add the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
a#logo {
display: flex;
gap: 10px;
align-items: center;
}
#top #logo:after {
content: 'My Company';
}
Cheers
Ho sorry, missed ur answer. Thanks! Have a great one!
You too, barreoblique
is it possible to achieve single product image effect like this?
https://www.theshadestore.com/blinds/wood-blinds/2-inch-wood-blinds?preselected_collections[]=2-inch-basicbasically the product image has max width and bigger height behind the customization option.
this is my current website
https://kosaa.ca/product/custom-accent-cushions/Hey druffzy,
That would require more customization than can be easily provided in the comments section. If you’d like further assistance with that, kindly open a ticket on the support forum in regards

Has anyone experienced glitches after the latest update with the WPBakery Page Builder? Objects won’t load when I try to edit them and nothing happens when I try to “Save Changes”. Version 7.1 is installed.
I was able to fix the problem. The Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP) plugin was somehow causing the glitch. I’ve deactivated the plugin and everything works as it should. (I have not updated my Google Analytics, so thats a possible reason for the error, but I haven’t troubleshooted that aspect of the issue that I w as experiencing.)
Hey EvanCD,
From what you initially described, it sounds like you were encountering a JavaScript conflict from a plugin, so I’m glad you were able to locate the specific culprit.
Kind regards
Hello again! I can’t find any documentation on how to enable footer reveal effect on resolutions lower 1000px
i tried all sort of things but it just doesn’t work , yet i do remember that it worked before
how can user of salient enable footer reveal effect on mobile? on desktop it works
im quite sure that it’s here yet nothing works for me on res <1000px—
div class=”container normal-container row nectar-el-parallax-scroll” data-scroll-animation=”true” data-scroll-animation-intensity=”5” style=”transform: translateY(0px) translateZ(0px);” - transform for footer reveal just doesnt work for res <1000px
Hey raffess, the Global section parallax footer location has never been enabled for mobile by default. I responded to your query on the support forum in regards already – kindly don’t double post the same comments in multiple locations as it can create confusion and redundancy.
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Can I force the padding to be set in the global section so that if my page is in fullscreen row it is displayed “correctly”.
The correct display: https://atlas.maj.mc/entreprise/ The home page: https://atlas.maj.mc/
I’m using a global section as a footer so I can’t use the “last row > footer” option.
Furthermore, in this configuration, how can I ensure that the background of my menu is white when I scroll to avoid any legibility problems on the last section?
Thanks in advance
Hey MAJMonaco,
1. The rows within a fullscreen setup use different markup and the global section won’t get that same structure to provide the padding as with regular pages. You could make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
https://pastebin.com/WWZrQ1Aq2. You can disable the transparent header effect in your page header settings metabox when editing that page: https://ibb.co/D9wdKMn
Kind regards
Hello,
It’s well explained as always, thank you.
For 2. I’d like to be able to keep the transparent header, especially for the first section, but have the white background. Ideally to have the same behaviour as with a page in fullscreen row.
Hey MAJMonaco,
You can use CSS to set a header BG color of white only on the last section:
https://pastebin.com/gW1B3JwKKind regards
Amazing! thanks!
You’re welcome, MAJMonaco
Hi, when using the “Custom heading” element a lot of Google Fonts are missing.. Those ARE available in the Typography section in the Salient settings section. Examples: Bebas Neue, Figtree…
Could all of those also be available in the Custom heading element? Would make my life a lot easier
Hey WMTD,
The custom heading is a core element within WPBakery and does not include a full list of Google fonts that we include through the options panel. I’ve noted your +1 for the idea to include a full google font library in the text elements directly in the editor. For now, if you would like to use a font not specified in that list, you can set it on a heading tag through the Salient options panel > typography tab on your desired heading and then use that in the custom heading element or one of Salient elements.
Kind regards
Ah. makes sense. Thanks for your reply.
You’re welcome, WMTD
Hello,
it seems all my WooCommerce single product pages have a CLS issue on mobile. It seems to be related to the summary: “div class=”summary entry-summary force-contained-rows”
Please note that I am using Ascend Theme with default woocommerce gallery.
Would you have a solution for this? It’s causing a 0,242 – 0.479 CLS delay.
Hey dzineee, I can’t replicate the same when testing using the setup you’ve described.
https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-themenectar-com-salient-ascend-product-woo-ninja-3/xykj2an4ie?form_factor=mobileCan you please open a ticket on the support forum in regards with your site information so we can take a closer look?
Thanks in advance
For some reason the confirm order button the checkout has started looking like this:
Hey joshfiddy, are you using the latest release of Salient? (v16.1.3). If so, please share your URL in regards.
Hi, Very important!!! Today I discovered an error in several of our websites from recent years and also in yours, for example: https://themenectar.com/salient/ecommerce-robust/product-category/accessories/. When the screen is 999px the responsive menu disappears. It only works with 1000 and 998 px. We need an urgent solution.
Hey anitatakacs, I have not been able to replicate what you’re describing yet. Here’s a video recording showing the exact 999px size: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/orh8qb6aw7md73c15fu6x/999px.mov?rlkey=kv5htmdm5z1lzoqp942km8lkg&dl=0
Can you please open a ticket on the support forum in regards so we can follow up?
Thanks in advance
Hi!
Just wanna say that this theme is truly amazing! I wanted to also ask if it were possible to adjust the parameters for what is considered a small desktop under the responsiveness settings. I currently use a 13-inch MacBook Pro but adjust the display settings for more space. I wanted to prioritize the design from this larger aspect ratio and then have the text shrink accordingly when it goes to the default 1440×900 (which I would like to be considered a small desktop).
Otherwise, everything may look just right on the default 1440×900 but then really small and empty when I go for the expanded view and generally on larger displays.
Maybe if you have a general suggestion on how to make the site responsive for larger websites as well, that would be great.
Thank you!
Hey deonteramos! I would recommend utilizing the responsive units for your font sizes i.e. setting a value using vw units and then providing a max/min for clamping the size into a range: https://ibb.co/9gxqLjj This is what we’ve done on many of the new demos such as: https://themenectar.com/salient/saas/
Kind regards
Great work ThemeNectar!
Hey orlandojpg, thanks a lot!
What would you say is the best way to change language from flickity-slider and and nectar-recent-post-slide. I need to change “Drag” and “Read Article” to Spanish

https://themes.vamtam.com/?theme=pixelpiernyc&n=2I mean those sticky cards and whic i more interesteing for me this section with growing dots.
many thanks for your help.
PS Also would like to know if you have horizontal scroll in plans,
Hey tomaszglajcar, there is no option to have slide scrolling in that manner in the current release of Salient, however it’s an item on the wishlist, along with horizontal scrolling
Kind regards
This is so fantastic. I was wondering when aprox this whishlist comes true
I have customer who wants to hav tose features – And i do not want to buy other crappy theme.
Hey tomaszglajcar, the next feature focused release will likely be towards the end of March, but we do not have an exact date.
Kind regards
Hi there! I have 2 questions about featured image in blog posts. URL: www.krula.cz/seznam-obradu/ 1.) Is there possible to set same/fixed height for featured images in Blog element? Layout is “Mansory Blog No Sidebar”. I have little differences about height and if one of image is about 20px more height, it will reorganize whole layout and it will move with featured images around. 2.) In Single Post I need to set featured image to “link to large image”. In this URL there are only titles and featured images and people want to click on that feature image and zoom on mobile, but they cant, because image is fixed and there is no option to open it like lightbox or something.
Thank you very much! <3
Hey Bendik01!
1. You can make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
article.masonry-blog-item .post-featured-img img {
aspect-ratio: 1/1.4;
object-fit: cover;
}
2. Adding a Lightbox link for the featured image would require editing the single post content template file via your child theme (salient/includes/partials/single-post/post-content.php)
This can be achieved via setting the attribute data-fancybox on the link to the full image source. If you’d like further assistance with that, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards.
Cheers
Hello.
There is an issue on my site when I use the gallery plugin as a masonry grid.
For whatever reason on the desktop version the final image overlaps the content below.
I consistently have the issue here: https://karlbenzkitchens.co.uk/portfolio/fulwood-sheffield/ and occasionally it happens on this page (but not always) https://alexbirks.co.uk/portfolio/logo-design-sheffield/Thanks, Alex
Hey Alex,
That might be an issue caused by the option to lazy load. Have you tried to temporarily disable that to test if that’s the case?
Kind regards
Well I’ve set the load option to default instead of lazy load, but the problem is still occurring. Where would I set what the ‘default’ was?
Hey alexbirks, from checking out the page source code, the lazy loading option seems to still be activated. The option I’m referring to is a setting directly within the image gallery element: https://ibb.co/6BD2ZNJ Is that what you’ve changed? If so, it might be cached in your setup from a performance plugin.
Hi, i am supporting a website that is based on Salient, but it is a very old version, its the 7.0.8. Since there are a very long time, they dont have the envato account anymore. There is a way to buy again the template and updating it to the last version without broking the live website ?
Hey ivanncz,
Yes, you can buy a new license and update the site to the latest version using any of the methods described in the docs: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/
However, since you’ll be updating from a very old version, just take a moment to read through this article: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/
Kind regards
