Font Awesome just release v7.2 with much needed icons like Fediverse and XMPP. Will Lush theme be updated to add those new fantastic icons?
Hi, At this time, we don’t have a confirmed timeline for updating the Lush theme with the new icons.
That’s a shame. Fediverse and XMPP are seeing huge growth and it would be great to allow users adding both services to their wordpress websites using the lush theme to show there customers and visitors can find them in the Fediverse and contact them via XMPP.
I updated the theme, and the slider revolution does not work. It also says that WP Bakery is not activated. My home page shows this ”

Still waiting for an update since late 2024. Several issues like https://themeforest.net/comments/30648191 or the security issues with WPBakery https://themeforest.net/comments/30761404 have not been addressed for over a year.
Now seeing trouble with slideshow which is dependent on Slider Revolution v6.7.21 while v6.7.35 has been out.
It really would be appreciated if an update was provided.

ACF reports as 6.2.6.1 while current version is 6.5.0.1. Is this an adjustment that needs to be made in lush theme itself? Error is complaining about

We have replaced most instances of the_field() with get_field(), but it’s true that there are still some places where this has not yet been done. This task will be completed soon, but you don’t need to worry about this notification. The the_field() function still works. You can disable debug mode to prevent the notification from showing.

Also I have a question: In the “Discography” section is there any way to divide the items into different discography types like 1) albums, 2) compilations 3) singles?
Since I have a long list of publications, I would like to give my audience the possibility to choose which ones to display – also by giving them a different importance (solo albums are the main publishings, compilations and singles of secondary importance). I used to have this feature on my old website.

Thanks for letting us know. The 1020 error usually comes from Cloudflare blocking the request, often due to security rules or access from a restricted region.
Could you please try the following:
Clear your browser cache and cookies
And if you can use a different browser or incognito mode
You can create three categories. However, the “Discography – List” widget does not have an option to select a category to display. You can either show all albums or select them individually to create a custom list.
The only place where you’ll see a list of albums by category is on the category archive page. For example: http://domainName.com/album-category/[Category Name]

When we try to change the blog template from the admin panel from the default grid to the the Grid 3 column ( or any template ) nothing happens on the front end. Is there issues with this in the themplate? we are also using a child theme.

In the meantime, I recommend disabling WP_DEBUG to prevent the notification from appearing.

There is no option to set it on page. Please help. I want it like before – 1, 2, 3 october. Not 3, 2 ,1 october if You know what I mean.

To update the WPBakery plugin, you’ll need to wait for the next theme update. We always include the latest version of the WPBakery plugin in our theme releases. However, there will always be a delay between a plugin update and our theme updates.
If you do not wish to wait, you can purchase a WPBakery license directly for immediate updates.
Unfortunately, I can’t provide an exact date for the next theme version release.

Hm, since the update the WP Bakery Builder frontend and backend editor do not work anymore. In the frontend editor nothing happens at all. In the backend editor I can’t delete or change any item.

Thanks, but unfortunately I don’t have a Irontemplate Ticksy account. Considering that WP Bakery is an integral part of the Lush theme and the plug-in does not work since the last theme upgrade, I’m not willing to pay additionally for support. If there’s no possibility to help otherwise, I will change the theme altogether and move my stuff to Wix or simiilar as I’m in the part of redesigning our band website anyway.

Currently, you are the only one reporting this issue, so it is likely caused by something specific to your site. I recommend deactivating all plugins except WPBakery to see if the problem persists. Also, make sure you have the latest version of Lush theme and WPBakery Page Builder available with our theme. Can you please share your site URL? Maybe I will be able to identify what is causing the issue from the frontend.

Should 2.10.2 have changed anything in regards to this warning, as it still shows for me with 2.10.2 installed. AFC is on version 6.2.6.1, Release Date 7th February 2024 while 6.3.10, Release Date 29th October 2024 is available. Since ACF 6.2.7 comes with the breaking change, I guess that is the reasons lush is stuck on that old AFC version?
Will this problem be addressed still?

We haven’t worked on updating ACF to 6.2.7 yet. I can’t say if we’re stuck 6.2.6.x. We’ll do it when it’s necessary.

The fix has already been made on our end and will be included in the next Lush update. You don’t need to worry about this message, as “the_field” is compatible with the version of ACF used by Lush. The message is just a warning to let us know that it may not be in a future version. I can’t give a specific date for the next Lush release, but it will happen. It’s important for us to support our products over time.

Unfortunately, we dont have the necessary resources to assist users whose support has expired. Nonetheless, here are some guidelines regarding the photo gallery.
Photos should be organized into “Albums.” You need to create a post for each album (“wp-admin>photo album”). By editing the album post, you can insert photos.
You have three options for each photo. You must insert the title, dimensions, and focal point.

Hello. I am having issues with how the website is displaying on certain browsers and computers. It seems it looks differently on chrome than on safari, and the same with the mobile version. If I change background colors or fonts, it seems to not take effect in certain browsers. I’ve tried updating, clearing the cache, I can not seem to figure out what the problem is.

We consistently update the plugins provided with Lush whenever we release a new version of the theme. With the latest theme version, you have access to Revolution Slider 6.6.16. We do not plan to release any updates for Lush in the next two weeks.

Is it possible to create a horizontal menu in Lush theme?

No, the Lush Theme doesn’t have the option to display the WordPress menu horizontally.
However, you can use the “Hot link” feature to build an alternative horizontal menu, as we have done on the Outlaws demo: https://lush.irontemplates.com/outlaws/The “Hot links” settings are located in wp-admin > lush > header options.
