The demo pages load pretty fast but the drop menus all load so slow on the demos. Are the slow loading mega menus normal for JNews?

for the dropdown menu on the mega menu we are using asynchronous load so the load of the dropdown menu that didn’t appear on initial page load won’t add unnecessary weight to the initial page load, so we load the dropdown menu separately only when user hover on the menu

How can we get support for this theme if we are unable to log into the support system? I can’t even browse the forums. When I try to login, there is a green button that says LOGIN USING YOUR ENVATO ACCOUNT. After clicking that, it sends you to another page and after clicking APPROVE, you get a Cloudflare error page stating there is an error with the HOST. This has been happening for over a week.

I am trying from a different WIFI network and browser and still get an error. I also get the same error when trying to activate my theme on a development site. The error now is:

thanks for reaching us, to troubleshoot this please right-click on your browser, select Network tabs, and go to JNews Dashboard refresh the page, and then on the Network will appear the resource that loaded on the page, click the first resource and then please make sure that Referer Policy that you are using is strict-origin-when-cross-origin please check the screenshot below

if the referer policy on your site is not strict-origin-when-cross-origin you can change this setting from the Apache config or nginx config of your site, If your server is managed by a server administrator, you can contact your server administrator.

Thanks for reaching us, usually if the customizer can’t be loaded it is caused by a javascript error, to troubleshoot it you can visit the customizer and then on your browser right click > inspect > click on the console tab and then check if there are error warning

if you find any error on the console, please try to disable third-party plugins that are not related to JNews for a while to check if there’s any plugin conflict or not.

I tried it and got no warnings. All other customizations work normally. However, the only thing “Single Post Option and Related Post Option” is that it can’t be loaded

the message “Please login to buy!” is not an error message this message will appear when the user trying to subscribe to a post but they are not logged in yet, so the user needs to log in first to be able to subscribe or unlock a post because we identified if visitor bought subscription package or not by their account

Hello, I am creating a category template, and when I add a widget, I do not see the CURRENT QUERY option, so that it dynamically takes the posts from the category where it is currently located, and does not show the same posts in all categories.

Hello, Thank you, yes I am using the JNews Modules, but I am referring to being able to somehow ensure that the posts that are displayed belong to the category that the template then loads. That template, for example, will be displayed in the RADIO, COMMUNICATION and LISTENING categories. But I need that when I am in the RADIO category, posts from that category are shown, and if I am in the LISTEN category, posts from that category are shown. Since I have it now, it doesn’t matter what category it is in, the same ones are always displayed. I have attached an image of where the CURRENT QUERY option should be. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. Thank you

if you want to display the same post as the current category opened using a custom archive template, please use JNews – Archive Block it will automatically load the post based on the currently opened category, please check the screenshot below

sorry for the inconvenience, If an invalid request error occurs, but your license is actually valid, usually this is due to server setting related to the Referrer Policy, maybe when your site requested to our server it didn’t send the referer on the request header or it sent a different domain as referer, sometimes there are server setting that sent the hosting domain as referer instead of the actual domain the website use

on your server please ensure that the Referrer Policy set to strict-origin-when-cross-origin

How to hide the header ads banner just on certain categorie or posts? I can see the header Ads banner is global for all posts and pages. Is there anyway to hide it?

first please make sure that the side feed and sidebar are in the same unique content group

and to be able to use unique content groups on the sidefeed, please enable the Enable Sidefeed as Sidebar option on Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > JNews layout Color & Scheme > Enable Side feed as Sidebar and then Select Sidebars option will appear on the customizer, Select the widget area that you want to use
