Hello! Pardon, I don’t see your buyer’s badge (it should have been visible even if your theme version is very old). In general, there should be no dramatic changes, but you may need to adjust paddings, font sizes, etc. No matter what update you are making, it is wise to have a staging copy of a website and proceed all changes there first.
Hi there, when I want to edit a team member I only see the text-code. There is no visual composer. Is this something that can be fixed? There is no option so switch to visual composer. Even when I’m trying to edit Team members from the demo there is co option so switch to Visual Composer. Can you please help me with this problem. Thank you

Yes I have changed theme folder because I don’t want to know everyone which theme I’m using, but after update it gets update in same folder but changing logo and text inside home page and everything

Also note that the report refers to a theoretical vulnerability. It could only be “exploited” by someone who already has admin access. Essentially, it would mean an admin hacking their own website

Currently, we have a one-page website, “WPBakery Business One-Page,” set up where the menu navigation works perfectly. However, we’ve noticed that on other pages, the menu doesn’t function as expected.
For example, the menu link directs to the URL ”#!/consultation.” While this works seamlessly on the main page, when navigating from a post page, the URL appears as “mysite.com/postname/#!/consultation,” which is causing a disruption in the navigation flow.

I wrote in my review the following:
“a) If your site is coolsite.com, you are not allowed to use the same license for a staging site on coolsite.dev. This is really unfortunate, because for example Elementor Pro does allow using the same activation for coolsite.com and coolsite.dev when coolsite.dev is the staging site. Why doesn’t this theme, I have no clue…”
You replied with the following:

I just tested now: I used the same purchase code that I used for mysite.com, on mysite.dev, and it said “This purchase code is already in use on another website. Please de-register it on the original site or follow this link.”
So what I stated in my review, was correct.
Even though my domain name itself remains the same, and only the TLD changes to .dev, it does not work.
And so the same applies: I wish your ruleset followed the same standard as Elementor Pro, where mysite.dev is considered a staging site of mysite.com.

I am afraid that ”.dev” domain is widely used not among staging website copies – you can check the most popular .dev websites and see these are ordinary websites, related to development services. Therefore, we do not whitelist this type of domain.
But you can use four other options mentioned in the Knowledge Base article. We do provide a mechanism to build a staging copy of a website without purchasing a new license.
So why does Elementor Pro accept .dev domain as a staging site, and not occupy an activation? If the original site is coolsite.com, Elementor Pro won’t use an activation for coolsite.dev, as long as both are under your Elementor Pro account.
This is how it should work for The7 as well. It feels like you are being silly…
