Hi, please I need to undestandand how it’s possible to remove voices ’ All, Design, web, Photography, Video’ on section “OUR WORK”. many thanks in advance. best regards, Svetlana
Filters can be added or deleted via “SX Section / Column / Display (eye) / Filters”. Columns have they filters. If you assign new filter name which does not exist, new name will be automatically added to filters on top. If your delete some filter name from all columns, the name will be deleted from top.
Good afternoon
Can you please assist, I’m having issues changing the content via the customiser. The site is on the latest PHP version and the php.ini file is “max_execution_time = 300”. It seems almost as if the menu is hidden behind the Site.
Looking forward to your response.
Good evening. I was able to bypass the issue by not using Safari on my Mac but using Google Chrome. I do however still have a issue with as example the copy above the text, it does not have any animation but shows a error code?
I don’t understand what you mean. Please describe in more detail or provide a link where I can see it.
Hello, I would like to modify the “sx_animated_text effect” A or B. I can’t find the file with the animation parameters. Can you give me the name of this file please? I would like to modify the direction of the animation (from left to right instead of right to left). Regards.
I’ve found a solution…
Customize layout no work and always reset to default display theme.
Most likely there is a problem with the caching settings. Try temporarily disabling all plugins.
hptts erro! I have fixed already. thank you.
i want to change the look of the blog page… now its date and posts 18/24 and recent (widget) is 6/24 where can i change that so its 16/24 and 8/24???
If I understand you correctly, then you need to change the date of the post. This can be done as in any theme in post settings in the post editor.
the date??? no i want to change the look of the page… now i see in the code this…
DATE/AUTHOR/COMMENTS… BLOG POSTS CATEGORIESwhere can i change the first pure-u-md-18-24 to pure-u-md-16-24 and then the one of CATEGORIES from pure-u-md-6-24 to pure-u-md-8-24
If you want to change PHP code, see index.php, includes/helper.php, sidebar-left.php, sidebar-right.php
Upon installing a fresh version of the theme, I’m getting:

Buenas recientemente les escribí porque he tenido problemas para entrar a editar el tema, tengo unos 4 años de haberla comprado pero hasta ahora no tenía inconvenientes. Actualicé el PhP y traté algunos consejos que tiene en el chat pero ninguno me resultó, la página dice “El bloque «layers-widget-skrollex-section» ha sido afectado por errores y puede que no funcione correctamente. Compruébalo con las herramientas para desarrolladores para más detalles.
Disculpe no he recibido respuesta o soporte a mi problema
Please look at the server error messages in the wordpress logs, the web server logs, and the database logs. Most likely the problem is in the configuration on the server side. Most often this is due to exceeding some limits set in the PHP configuration. Also, sometimes the cause of the problem is clear from error messages in the browser console.
I keep on recieving this message,
The active theme has the following error: “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “layerswp” parent theme.”.
How do I get layers?
Please read how to install the theme: https://skrollex-wp.romanmeleshin.art/alice/theme-help/#install
Buen día Tengo un problema con la carga de la edición del y tema, no me termina de cargar el Home Page Body para editar el Layout. La plantilla la compré hace unos 4 años y no había tenido problemas hasta la fecha, agradezco su ayuda al respecto, gracias

Hello,
First and foremost, I want to extend my congratulations on your theme. I’ve been using it for over two years now, and it’s truly exceptional!
However, recently, I’ve been encountering some issues while attempting to edit a page. When I click on “Edit Appearance,” the page loads very slowly, and upon loading, the left-hand menu necessary for making modifications doesn’t appear. This is becoming a significant problem for me as I’m currently unable to make any changes to the site.
I’d like to note that I upgraded the PHP version a few days ago, moving from version 8.0 to 8.2.
To save time, I’ve already performed the following actions, but unfortunately, they didn’t yield any results: - Deactivated all plugins - Re-downloaded “Layers 2.0.10.fixed”.
Furthermore, here are some additional details along with the error messages I’ve encountered:
Google Inspection:

Upon examination, it seems that the issue may be related to the PHP version associated with certain theme files.
Despite my extensive searches across various platforms, I must admit that I’m currently at a loss and unable to find a solution. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have reached out. I sincerely hope you can assist me!
I’m, of course, available to provide any additional information you may require.
Best regards, Gabriel
Try temporarily switching to a different theme. Most likely Customizer won’t work anyway. Just switch to some old theme, for example Twenty Sixteen, since in some new themes the Customize option has been replaced by Edit. If you see the same thing, it means that for some reason the Customizer options in the database are broken. You can reset the options using the Reset Customizer plugin, which is recommended here:
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/411409/wordpress-customizer-not-loading
If you reset all the options, you will need to restore the menu assignments, as well as restore font settings and others. The easiest way to restore the default settings for your preset is to simply create another page from the same preset and then delete it. Then the default settings will be restored automatically.
Firstly, thank you for your prompt response!
I’ve followed the steps you described. Initially, I downloaded and activated the “Twenty Sixteen” theme, and by doing so, the “customize” or “appearance” modification functions worked seamlessly. The page loaded smoothly and quickly, and the left menu appeared in its entirety.
Additionally, I downloaded the plugin you provided and reset the options, but unfortunately, it didn’t change anything. The issue persists once your theme is activated, as I mentioned before. When I click on “customize” or “appearance,” the page loads very slowly, and upon loading, the left menu fails to appear.
Screenshot: https://www.ecole-golf.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Capture-decran-le-2024-03-24-a-20.33.59.pngI’ve provided Google Inspector information and the debug.log file in my previous message.
Do you have any other solutions to suggest? Because at this point, I’m truly stuck and unable to make changes to my site.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards,
It’s strange that there are no errors in the log file, but only warnings about Deprecated. The theme is now running on my site with PHP 8.3, and before that it worked with 8.2. It’s unlikely this is due to the update. But it may be due to a change in PHP settings. Maybe there is not enough memory or something like that. Try to see what is displayed in other logs. In the web server and database logs.
Thank you for getting back to me!
Following your advice, I delved into the extensive debug file I had and pinpointed the issue: [24-Mar-2024 19:25:59 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /homepages/40/d848441878/htdocs/clickandbuilds/EcoleGolf/wp-includes/functions.php on line 650
As a result, I tweaked my php.ini file by adding the value “max_execution_time = 300;,” and everything is up and running again! Though it’s loading quite slowly, I can finally access the menu I need to modify my pages.
Once again, I want to express my gratitude for your assistance and availability! Without your guidance, I believe I would have spent a considerable amount of time hunting down the error…
I have a question regarding your theme—I must admit, I’m particularly fond of it, especially its design, and I really don’t want to switch to another! Do you have plans to keep your theme updated for the foreseeable future? This is something I truly hope for!
If there comes a time when you discontinue this theme, would it be possible to directly reach out to you for updates or patches to keep it functioning?
I appreciate your forthcoming responses in advance, and once again, a heartfelt thank you for your invaluable assistance!
Best regards, Gabriel
Thank you for your pleasant feedback about my work. I have no plans to close support for this theme and will continue to release updates.
Great! Thanks again for everything.
I deactivated all plugins. I also have the Layers version from the link. I think your theme doesn’t see Layers because it doesn’t appear in my editing options in the WordPress backend. There is no Edit Layout option in live preview when editing a page. Is it possible?
If the theme does not see Layers, then it will not be activated, but it is possible that you have several versions of layers installed in different folders on the server and then the theme may use the wrong version. Layers should be on the server in a folder with the same name as the downloaded zip file. If you install Layers in the usual way, then it will be installed in this folder.
The Edit Layout option may appear with some delay. If it does not appear, look at the browser console, perhaps some errors are displayed there.
And perhaps you have an old version of Skrollex. If you updated WordPress or Layers, then Skrollex should be updated too.
I see the message in the Wordpress backend. In the wp-config.php file I have it set ( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); I don’t have any other DEBUG values.
Try deactivating all plugins. Make sure you have the latest versions of WordPress and Skrollex installed, and the version of Layers that is linked to in the documentation for the installed version of Skrollex.
i changed the blog page to grid view but nothing changes… it stays the same??
https://demo.conics.be/news/Please describe how you changed the blog page to grid view.
the normal editor >> pages edit >> query loop >> grid view is there another possibility? cause with customize nothing possible due to “upgrade to layers pro” that isn’t possible anymore!
other way to solve this and give the blog page a grid view!
Where do you see this? The theme does not have this menu items. Layers Pro is not supported by the theme and the theme has not been tested with this plugin, it will most likely not be useful with this theme. This extension is advertised by the developers of Layers, but it will likely only be useful with other themes that claim to support it.
doesn’t matter… where can i change the blog view so it has a grid view! that is my problem. I did it with the base editor but nothing changes. so please help!
This is not a core feature of WordPress. The theme only supports the layout shown in the demo. Other layouts may be supported by third party plugins, but I can’t recommend any as the theme has not been tested with them.
This is not supported by the theme, but you can create a regular page in the standard WordPress editor and use blocks from some plugins to create a different layout.
Try searching the WordPress repository for a plugin that makes the layout you want. If the plugin works as a block, then you should create the page in a standard editor and I recommend this option. If the plugin works as shorcode, then you can create a page in both the standard editor and Layers.
I don’t have debugging turned on, could there be another reason? Wordpress displays the message: “The ‘layers-widget-skrollex-section’ block contains errors and does not work properly. More information can be found in the developer tools.” and “The block ‘layers-widget-skrollex-image-bg’ contains errors and does not work properly. Please see developer tools for more information.”
Do you see this in the browser? If you do not have debug mode enabled, WordPress will not display messages in the browser.
Hi, I updated PHP and Wordpress to the latest version and the website stopped working. Only the menu and logo are displayed, otherwise there is a black background page. Wordpress displays the message: “The ‘layers-widget-skrollex-section’ block contains errors and does not work properly. More information can be found in the developer tools.” and “The block ‘layers-widget-skrollex-image-bg’ contains errors and does not work properly. Please see developer tools for more information.” After returning to the old PHP version, everything works fine. What should I do to make everything work with the new PHP? Page: https://pokazylaserowe.info/
The theme is also tested with all the latest versions of WordPress.
You may have debug mode enabled. If displaying debug messages in the browser is enabled, this breaks the page layout. Try disabling debug mode or disabling all plugins.

Hi there!
I just installed the Lynda template on my wesite. How can I change the menu form vertical to horizontal?
Thanks for your help!
Header Menu and Extended Menu are supported. They can only be displayed as in the demo. You can create both of these menus as in any WordPress theme in “Appearance / Menu”.
That’s right, but the menu in the demo shows the menu items from left to right and in my header menu the menu items is a list downwards. I want the menu from left to right.
By default, the menu is displayed from left to right. If you have nested menu items, they appear as dropdown lists. Drag all the items to the top level or provide a link to the page or screenshot so that I can understand more clearly what you mean.
You are having some problem downloading files from the server. They may have been deleted. The menu is displayed this way because it does not load https://sisinteriorsolutions.com/wp-content/themes/layerswp/assets/css/framework.css
If you look at the browser console, you will see that loading this and some other files returns Error 404.
Ok, what’s your advice? Start all over again with uploading the template?
View the browser console and figure out why the files on your server are not accessible. Or try reinstalling Layers using the link in the current theme documentation. And you may have to reinstall the theme too.
I need help installing the WP theme. There is an error that it can’t load because the style.css is missing

and other question, if i make page with default then he shows the page title at the bottom of the page? how can i remove that
The layout like in the demo should be the default immediately after activating the theme. I don’t really understand why you have changed it. If you haven’t changed anything in the theme code, try deactivating all plugins.
can i put back the theme code for single post?
Please explain what you mean.
If you are referring to the theme code, it is not relevant to any particular post. If you want to be sure that the theme’s code hasn’t been changed, you can reinstall the theme completely. The easiest way is to uninstall the theme using the admin panel and install it again in the same way you installed it before. The content will be saved.
