Running Slider Revolution 6.7.7 and updated teh frontend engine to SR7 from SR6 but now its not migrating and asking me to download few add on but i am unable to download it. I updated the theme as well and still the same issue.

Ok, I am unable to access content builder. It is the second time this has happened. Is there anyways to convert my page which is content builder blocks to Elementor page?
Also how can I get back the content builder to start working again. It does not work when I go into Classic view or Developer view.

Hi, I already have a website on an old template. I like your template and want to buy it. I read the documentation and it says that you need to import the demo content. Can the template be installed without the demo content? I already have the content on the site. So I just want to replace the old template with the new template without having to move everything manually. Is that possible? Can I edit the Contact page with the new elements of your template, and edit the Portfolio page with your elements? Is the template based on some builder with elements? Something like elementor? Do you have details of upcoming support for the latest versions of Elementor (required for all the V7.4 functionality)?
The Plugin Update page says that the theme is only tested/compatible up to Elementor 3.18.2, but there was a big security patch in 3.19.1 and I’m getting warnings from Wordfence that I need to update the Elementor plugin to keep my site safe.

Question – Would it make a different in terms for better speed for the website if the code for breadcrumb is with in the theme rather than having to install a plugin?
Also, I am using pulgin to inprove speed but Mobile LCP is 2.9 s & TBT – 1670 ms. Computer LCP is 2.8 s Any suggestions how to improve. I am using few plugins now which got it down to the numbers I shared with you.

Breadcrumb is not related to website loading speed. You need to use cache or speed optimisation plugins.
I’m loving the new Elemntor modules, but it’s a steep new learning curve!
In Demo 7 (https://photographyv7-4.themegoods.com/home-7/), there’s a Masonry Portfolio section, but somehow the buttons are linked to custom URL’s (eg https://photographyv7-4.themegoods.com/video-grid/) rather than Portfolio items.
Is this possible IRL – or has it been tweaked in the backend for effect? Thanks

Basically you can link a portfolio item to any URL. For example as you mentioned. Some portfolio item in demo links to video grid page.

The last line of the online documentation page titled; ‘Import Single Demo Page’ at: https://docs.themegoods.com/docs/photography/demos/import-single-demo-page/states: “You can filter only Photography templates and select demo page you want to import and click “Insert”.”
But sadly there are no instructions on how to do that on the ‘Import Single Demo Page’ documentation page (also nowhere on the ‘Elementor’ editing page is there any option to filter).
I want to be able to “…filter only Photography templates…”, so that I can use one of the pages of the template that I imported. Can you please tell me how to do that?
Also the first line of the same page ‘Import Single Demo Page’ states: “First please install and activate Elementor and Photography Theme Elements for Elementor plugins before you proceed.”
Before I attempted to use ‘Elementor’ to “…filter only Photography templates…”, I had installed all the plugins provided, but the ‘Elementor and Photography Theme Elements for Elementor’ plugins were not include. I did manage to find the ‘Elementor’ plugin elsewhere (but not the Photography Theme Elements for Elementor plugin) and temporarily installed it to test the instructions given on the ‘Import Single Demo Page’ (it looked exactly the same as portrayed on the ‘Edit-Test-Page-with-Elementor-1.jpg’ image).
Why are the ‘Elementor and Photography Theme Elements for Elementor’ plugins not included with the default plugins, and where can i get these plugins from you, so that I can be sure that I have the right ones?
Heres a couple of screenshots of all the plugins that were installed when I clicked on “Step 2. Hi, I have managed to resolve most of the issues, which are really because the documentation was lacking. I will get back to you with the remaining issue I have which is mostly relating to, why can’t I get ‘Home 5 – Photographer 2’ page in the Elementor ‘Pages’ Library, there is a ‘Home 5’ page there; but I can’t seem to find the ‘Home 5 – Photographer 2’ page. I did import the ‘Bold Black Demo’ when I did the ‘One Click Demo Import’ during the whole installation process directly after installing and activating the plugins; and the ‘Bold Black Demo’ contained the ‘Home 5 – Photographer 2’ page so I am confused as to why it doesn’t show up in the ‘Elementor Pages Library’. Thanks again for your help!
These demo pages you mentioned are created using theme content builder not Elementor so you can import it using Elementor template library.

It’s not there as I mentioned in my previous comment.
What is there is: Home 1 to Home 9 but not the ‘Bold Black Demo’ (which I have imported with all the demo content) which is the template that contains ‘(Home 5 – Photographer 2’ and the template I want to use.

content builder_3 - (None of these options are even visible, as they are shown in this documentation; they should be there by default (as shown in this image), or at least there would be some instructions on how to access them and there is nothing on that in the online documentation).
And these images mentioned below are also uploaded to the same place that I have linked to above. These show what the actual theme looks like when you add a new page. Its a massive difference and there is no comparison between the two:
a new page_1 - Here you can see the actual themes ‘New Page’ and you can also see that the ‘Edit with Content Builder’ button is not even there, as it is shown as being present in the online documentation (which is clear in the screenshot; content builder_1).
a new page_2 - this shows the rest of the actual themes ‘New Page’
The online documentation and the ‘actual’ theme are night and day.
I find it impossible to use the ‘content builder’ when the documentation is so outdated like this. Should it really be this hard?

Recently we have been facing data loss issue, mainly for portfolio and gallery pages, strange thing is on the frontend we can see the data, but when we try to edit those via dashboard, categories are missing and if we try adding any new category then that’s not being displayed, not at all able to figure out the issue. Permalinks also seems to be changes resulting is not found issue. It would be really helpful if you can throw some light on this.
PS : Haven’t touched the site from past 6,7 months, it was running all smooth. I would appreciate your help.

How can I write code to make the gallery in WordPress sort photos by file names? In the ‘Customize’ > ‘Gallery’ > ‘General’ > ‘Gallery Images Sorting’ tab, I only have options: ‘by drag&Drop’, ‘by newest’, ‘by oldest’, ‘by random’. There’s no sorting by file name. Is there additional CSS code for sorting by file names in some posts? To be selective, either generally or personalized functions.

It would required editing core theme code to change that part which I wouldn’t recommend as you won’t be able to update the theme in the future.
It’s also required many complex work to do if uploaded file name has special characters from other languages. It might causes PHP error.

Hi, For those of you like me that encountered recently a problem of (google) fonts rendering (“A” letter bugging or others dysfunctions with Montserrat font especially…), you need to update the theme that will update a “kirky core” file named downloader.php. Once the theme updated, you need to download and install “Transients Manager” plugin. Once it’s done, open the plugin and search “kirki_remote_url_contents” line that you can delete.
To the Team : Elementor implementation was a great update but what a headache to keep the shopping cart icon like it was displayed at the beginning without update elementor to pro to add that cart icon… + and as I liked the new (mega) menu template presentation made with elementor and wanted both, I had to keep the old menu and had to download a menu plugin to make it works… Would it be possible to integrate a shopping cart icon without being force to update elementor to pro?

1, 2 Normally if you are using slider widgets within Elementor. You can’t adjust text position freely as it’s predefined slider design and layout. If you really want to have fully customise on slider’s elements. We recommend using Revolution slider plugin instead.
3. Yes because some of our old demo pages are created before Elementor was introduced so they are using a standard WordPress templates option.
5. Yes because the shop page is generated automatically by WooCommerce plugin so it can’t be customised using Elementor. Thank you.

Can this issue be resolved or we should hire a developer to fix it?

No, no caching solutions are enabled on our end, except of theme’s caching (if any – we can see some options at theme settings -> script)
