Subject: Issue with Question Editor in Masterstudy Education Center WordPress Theme

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have encountered with the Masterstudy Education Center WordPress theme. While trying to add questions to a quiz, I have noticed that there is no proper editor for formatting the questions. Specifically, when a question contains multiple paragraphs or requires text to be on a new line, all the text appears in a single line on the front end. This not only affects the visual presentation but also causes confusion for users taking the quiz.
To improve the user experience, I kindly request the addition of an editor that supports the following features:
-Proper line breaks to ensure text appears as intended with new lines. -Bold text option for emphasizing important parts of the question. -The ability to add images between text sections to provide visual aids where necessary.
Implementing these features would greatly enhance the clarity and usability of the quiz module for both administrators and end users.

I want to clarify that we have not added the requested improvements yet. Currently, HTML tags are not supported in the question editor for formatting purposes, including line breaks, bold text, and images. This limitation is in place for several reasons, including security concerns.
Implementing these features will take time, so in the meantime, I encourage you to use the existing options available.

Thank you for your response, but I must express my frustration with the current situation. It has now been over five months since I first requested the addition of basic formatting features in the question editor, including line breaks, bold text, and image support. These are standard elements necessary for creating structured programming questions, and their absence severely limits the usability of the theme for my needs.
While I understand that security is a priority, the explanation given does not fully address my concerns. Similar formatting capabilities are available in other themes without posing security risks, and it’s surprising that your development team has not been able to implement this after such a lengthy period.
Due to these limitations, I feel I must look for another theme that supports these basic features, as the current theme simply does not fulfill my needs as expected. I am disappointed with the level of support and feel that this issue has not been given the attention it deserves.
Please take this feedback seriously, as addressing these features would benefit many users and improve the product’s overall value.

The advanced editor feature for Questions has been in development since July.
The project took longer than anticipated due to technical challenges with Course Builder. It is nearly complete and will be released in early November.

1. The theme is not compatible with plugins that provide referral systems for courses. However, the theme does include a built-in Points system add-on that generates affiliate links for students.
2. The option to add a video Preview for a Single course page is planned for future releases. Currently, you can add a video to the course description.
3. The Social login can be enabled using additional plugins. There is an extension that can extend default functionalities of the MasterStudy LMS including social addon:

4. The theme is integrated with Mailchimp to create a newsletter system.

Thanks for your reply, is there any video protection feature in your theme currently?
The MasterStudy LMS includes a built-in video player that can hide the Branding of YouTube/Vimeo videos. Also, when our player is enabled, the mp4 videos are not downloadable.

Due to the prolonged absence of theme and plugin updates, a notification should appear on the Dashboard prompting a database update. Kindly ensure the database is updated to synchronize tables accurately.

If you did not receive database update request after updating the theme, manual update is not required.
You can troubleshot the issue by disabling third-party plugins that not included in theme package.
If problem persists please provide some screenshot from: - MasterStudy > System Status - Appearance > Themes > Showing theme version; - Dashboard > Plugins > Showing version of MasterStudy LMS plugins.

Koibhi.com that is using MS theme and not much customization has this issue of intermittently going down for an hour or so every day. I contacted the server guys and they replied with this. Please assist.

The server load was high due to a high PHP-FPM request for the website. When the limit is hit, the new requests would not be served and would need to wait for existing requests to be completed which would be considered downtime.
You should also check for the other possible causes of that error. The typical causes of this error include:
Bad scripts or code that leads to slow execution of PHP code Low settings for the max_children setting in the PHP-FPM Config
I have increased the Max Children value from 10 to 25 to fix the issue. Please confirm the websites’ functionality on your end and do get back to us if you need further assistance. We are happy to help!

This issue may happen when MasterStudy LMS Pro plugin is not updated to the latest version.
The Masterstudy LMS Pro plugin is bundled with the theme. In order to get automatic updates, the Envato Market plugin must be installed and activated using the Envato token.
After updating the theme to the latest version you can update the bundled plugins through the Appearance > Install plugins section.

Hello, friends, I don’t quite understand the logic of the rights and instructor interface in your wonderful theme. Is it possible to somehow make the instructor teach rather than learn? And I think there are opportunities for development in this direction, for example, the function of adding a student to a course. The only way now is to use the traditional WordPress console interface. But even there you offer to invite the user via email, and for some reason the search in the registered list only finds users who are already included in the course. These questions have nothing to do with supporting me specifically. I bought two licenses from you and therefore I can compare where, what and how it works. I really hope that everything will be ok for you and me.

The latest update seems to have broken some Pro addons, specifically Certificate Builder and Gradebook. They are simply no longer in the Admin Menu on the left. The Certificate builder is not listed by default in the Addons section of the MS LMS. It has a separate menu in the WordPress admin Dashboard: https://prnt.sc/RcMN3cjLS5S-
The GradeBook addon does not include specific settings. Thus it is not included in the Admin menu. The instructors can access the grade book from the user account.

Hallo, I have just realized that the course files are readily available for download to anyone include non students. Is there a setting that I missed because logically, the files are meant to be accessed only by paid students and not just any visitor .

To make them private you can upload them for the first lesson. In this case, the materials can be downloaded only by users who enrolled in the course.

You will manage attendance to the courses by checking WooCommerce orders directly.
3. Registering corporate users with the “Group Courses addon” is possible. The Group leader can take a course in Enterprise Price and enroll users in bulk. The statistics of the users will be available for the Group leader. There is a detailed manual for your reference:

Hello! In the Arabic version of the website, the Courses with Quizzes stopped working, they just stopped opening and there is an endless download. All other lang versions. We have visited your website and noticed that you have a multilingual site created with the WPML plugin. If the course content is loading in other languages, please make sure that you have translated the course and quizzes into Arabic.
If you could provide logs from the console and server when the course is not loading, it would help us identify the root cause of the issue.

I have a general question – how to change the name in the certificate after the student has completed the course. Actually, the student, say John Smith, joined the course and completed the course. After that, he got certificate in the name of John Smith. He requests me to only have his first name or John Daniel Smith in the certificate. How can we do that?

By default, the Certificates will be issued using the student’s full name. Unfortunetely there is no option to change this behavior from LMS settings.

We checked our system and reset previously activated IP addresses. According to the Envato Support Policy, the license should be used to activate a single domain.
