The current copy of the slider comes bundled with the Avada website builder to create great functionality and the users don’t need to pay extra for the sliders. We do include updates for the slider as and when they are released. The plugins, if added via the theme, will show as not activated. This happens because this is a bundled plugin. The plugin, however, is completely functional. The only limitation would be access to their premium content
If you do need to register/update your premium plugins separately, you can do so by purchasing their license individually. However, this is not really required. Relevant documentation – https://avada.com/documentation/purchase-codes-for-plugins-bundled-with-avada
The plugin can be updated by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Avada → Plugins (and not the regular plugin section)

I have a very weird problem, that happened with the latest update. My homepage has no styling applied to it but looks fine in the page builder. However, all other pages look fine in both the theme builder and regular look. Please advise.

Seems to be an issue with the caching from what I understand, can you kindly try clearing your browser and plugin cache and check from a different browser altogether and see if that helps?

You recommend Siteground hosting, but don’t say that only on dedicated hosting, Avada doesn’t have php time limit problems. Since it is not possible with a normal plan to change this data on your panel. I had found the possibility to modify the . htaccess but this leads to error 500.

I recently installed the Plugin Co-Author Plus for Guest Author feature in Avada. Some time ago, I contacted support and received the general guidelines (note that my support period has recently expired). Unfortunately, I have not yet received a right solution to my issue.
The problem I am encountering is that on all blog pages, the author displayed is the user login of the WordPress account for the website, such as “Administrator” or “Keymaster,” rather than the actual author as intended. This discrepancy is problematic, and it is quite frustrating to spend considerable time on what should be a simple modification.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice you could provide to resolve this matter effectively. Any other compatible plugin for Guest Author? Thank you.

I purchased a second Avada license to access additional guidance, but I find the instructions for Avada quite unclear/different/heavy compared to other WordPress templates. I have reviewed the documentation, but it does not apply to my specific case, and there are no recommendations for implementing multiple authors on the website.Thus, your response did not clarify the matter.

Bug:
We have changed our Social Media sharing URL from https://twitter.com/oursite to https://x.com/oursite, but when we visit our news or blog posts, the social media sharing URL for X is still showing as https://twitter.com/oursite. All permalinks resaved and all cache layers cleared.
Please review and fix this condition. Also, your theme pages (our backend) still have many pages showing Twitter’s old logo (bird).

The change from Twitter to X was done some versions ago already and you should be getting new brand logo for the social site, kindly make sure that you are running the latest version of Avada that is 7.11.9 in this case and if the issue persists, open a support ticket with our team.

Thank you for your comment, this was not provided as a quick answer, this was duly checked by my own self, the social sharing box does take you to the right URL if you notice the redirection and the post is shared just fine, when the X icon is being clicked, however we will be updating the URLs further to X from Twitter.
I also do not see Twitter logo being added anywhere in our backend options, where exactly are you seeing this?

1. Google Maps JavaScript API has been loaded directly without loading=async
2. google.maps.event.addDomListener() is deprecated, use the standard addEventListener() method instead.
3. As of February 21st, 2024, google.maps.Marker is deprecated. Please use google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement instead.

Hi Ammar, Please provide a fix for these deprecationss. They impact page loading time and are causing a brief flash of the page containing the Google Map (loaded via Avada’s code). Please report this to your developers. They affect all Avada users, not just us, so a support ticket doesn’t make sense. Thank you.
Hi Ammar, Please note that Item 1 above is not a deprecation. It’s a Warning that is causing pages containing Google Maps to slow down and/or briefly flash. Fix appreciated. The solution is easy. Your developers need to add the term “&loading=sync” to the call function that invokes Google Maps (as noted below)

Purchased this a few weeks back for my business, started using it only to wake up to my hosting company saying that Cpanel had been updated and my wordpress directory seemingly dissapearing, re-installed wordpress and Avada, now can’t activate it because it says it’s already in use, when it isn’t.
Also, absolutely impossible to actually register on the avada website, keeps telling me that it’s resent the verification email and to check my spam which I have – the email never gets sent.
As it stands I’ve essentially dropped money on something I can’t use, and cant contact anybody about to try and resolve.

A single license of Avada can only be activated once with a live domain, in case you have reset your website or as in your case and if you are looking to move to a different domain, this will require you to reset your purchase code, this can simply be done from your support account following the instructions here => https://avada.com/documentation/how-to-manage-your-licenses-on-my-avada/
Regarding your query on support account registration, you should be able to create an account with any issues, in this case however you can send us an email directly here => https://avada.com/contact/#contact including your purchase code so we can sort this out for you.

Hello. I have setup a contact form with option to send notification on submit. However those emails are not being delivered. The issue is wrong “From” header. No matter what I fill in the “Sender Email” field, the email is always sent with my administrator email instead. Can you help to fix this?

Avada is a one time purchase – good for use on a single website/project. You get free updates for life.
One license is required for each live/production website that you use Avada on. So e.g. if you need to use Avada on a second website than an additional license is required.

Thanks, how about sub domain? example the main domain will be example.com but sub domains will be site1.example.com and then site2.example.com as we are not going to create full sites that will be just random landing pages which will be updated.

I recently purchased the theme to rebuild my e commerce store. The theme and theme builder in total gives you the freedom to build it as you wish. My big issue that I run into is that the options for the shop area and shop filters are pretty basic in comparison with the capabilities in the other sections. Is like the theme is made to build nice websites and not e commerce stores. It would be great if you put more effort in this section.

Hello, I’m on V7.11.7. I have created the Avada Forms. The form submissions are getting emailed. However, in the backend the submissions are not being saved. It is showing as empty.

Kindly make sure that your form fields have proper field names added, if that is not the case you will not be seeing a proper submission being added in database, other than that to provide a more precise response, our team will need to take a closer look into your form and this will require a support ticket creation.
