hello, I want to know how can we update the jwellery child theme in my store completely similar to the one given in the demo link. I had tried to upload the jwellery theme in my system but some of its functions are not working properly. The price and availability filter and the product share option is also not working at all.

It seems that you are mentioning the uploading theme, not the update theme. Jewel theme is the child theme of Ella theme and we don’t have any update for this. When you upload the theme, you will have the homepage layout as the demo. For other layouts/functions, you will set up by yourself.

After uploading theme, the homepage and other page layouts are not similar to the one showed in the demo, Especially the price and availability filter is not coming up on the collection list page. I am not getting the sections options as given in the demo link.

With updates versions, you will receive it for free without needing to extend support.

Ella is the same as any other Shopify themes in the Shopify platform. That is when a new updated version released, it will be a core theme source, independent from the previous ones you are using. Thus, your changes on the previous versions will not be included in the update.

I may have found a bug on collections list page because of the lazy loader. When enabled, our page would not load at all and was giving a 500 error. We reached out to shopify and other apps and it was not their issue. We just unclicked the “enable lazyload” under theme settings for collection list and page came back. Its either a theme issue or app conflict. Adding this information to current ticket 3668629.

Can i add a menu inside a regular page? on the side or similar? Not the header menu but another menu inside a regular page. Lets say i create help center page and inside i want to add a menu with FAQ-SHIPPING etc that i create in the menu settings in shopify.

So I’ve had this theme for a while and its been very good prior to me putting my store on pause everything was working as it should. Fast forward a few months later after resume my store, the footer completely disappeared and i can’t understand why? Was there an update that caused this to happened, I’m just confused

Overall i am happy with the theme but I’m a disapointent that i found a bug 7 month later when we change he product page to the left-thumbs template. the product page picture gallery is messed up showing the pictures in “oval” for no reason and also the visually stability score went down to “bad”. i dont wanz to renew the support for $64.75 as this should be something, which should work from the begining.

This is not the theme bug.

This problem has happened before, the reason is that the latest update of Chrome has added a short code attribute is no longer supported, then Chrome updated this attribute again and we have promptly fixed this error from Ella 6.5.4 onwards. But it is not clear why they added this code attribute again and it continues to cause errors for sources from Ella 6.5.4 and below.

With the Section themes, when you install theme source, it won’t include demo images/ banners like you see on our theme demo because Shopify doesn’t allow you to get data to show up when it is Section themes. As we mentioned, we tested on our theme and it works well, so we can not update on our theme.

So we need to login to your store to deeply check if there are any conflict codes with third parties or not.

In case the support time expires, you can choose the category Shopify. Then we will check it for you. If this issue is not from our theme, you need to renew support time to get our support.

In fact, the Short description should only show some characters, and if customers want to see the full description, they will see it in the Description tab.

With Short description, we removed the HTML tags and will only render plain text.

If you want to show the layout as Description tab, you can find “product-short-description.liquid” file and remove “strip_html”

Hi, I successfully replaced the global-style.liquid file and it is working for me. However, I am now facing another issue with the megamenu. There is a difference between the English and Chinese versions.
