A basic feature such as ‘Country of Origin’ of a product is not available in Product information on the Product page. It is an extremely basic feature provided by Shopify but you have hidden this feature in the theme. A humble request to make it visible or help us troubleshoot this.

For “Country of Origin” field, we can not handle code to show it on the Product page. As you can test on the Dawn theme of Shopify, this is not shown.

1) i want to show only buy now button and no “add to cart” button on product page. How to do that.?

If thats not possible, how can i redirect customer to checkout page (not cart page) after clicking “add to cart” button on product page.

2) After selecting varient on product page, varient color should fill with black. Its only showing border as selected. Which is confusing.

==> This is not a theme issue, by default when a variant is selected, it will have a black border, if you want it to show full black, we can help you change the code.

Hello!

We are using Ella V6.3.0 theme on Shopify. For two days we have noticed that the product page with the default template is not displaying correctly depending on the operating system or browser version. I explain:

On a PC with Windows 8 and Google Chrome updated to the maximum it displays correctly:

However, on PCs with Windows 10 and updated Google Chrome, since two days the main image has been reduced and the thumbnails have been moved up. The same thing happens with Edge or on mobile, the image is reduced:

Both screenshots have the same settings and we are using the “zoom” option.

We haven’t installed any new apps or edited any theme code these days.

This problem has happened before, the reason is that the latest update of Chrome has added a short code attribute is no longer supported, then Chrome updated this attribute again and we have promptly fixed this error from Ella 6.5.4 onwards. But it is not clear why they added this code attribute again and it continues to cause errors for sources from Ella 6.5.4 and below.

Hey. i have a small issue on the product page Variant Picker order. For some reason the Sizes are above the colors picker, i tried few products layout and the same. Is it something in the settings that i did wrong? hello, I want to know how can we update the jwellery child theme in my store completely similar to the one given in the demo link. I had tried to upload the jwellery theme in my system but some of its functions are not working properly. The price and availability filter and the product share option is also not working at all.

It seems that you are mentioning the uploading theme, not the update theme. Jewel theme is the child theme of Ella theme and we don’t have any update for this. When you upload the theme, you will have the homepage layout as the demo. For other layouts/functions, you will set up by yourself.

After uploading theme, the homepage and other page layouts are not similar to the one showed in the demo, Especially the price and availability filter is not coming up on the collection list page. I am not getting the sections options as given in the demo link.

Ella is the same as any other Shopify themes in the Shopify platform. That is when a new updated version released, it will be a core theme source, independent from the previous ones you are using. Thus, your changes on the previous versions will not be included in the update.

I may have found a bug on collections list page because of the lazy loader. When enabled, our page would not load at all and was giving a 500 error. We reached out to shopify and other apps and it was not their issue. We just unclicked the “enable lazyload” under theme settings for collection list and page came back. Its either a theme issue or app conflict. Adding this information to current ticket 3668629.
