1) This is where you recommend placing translation files in the System directory wp‑content/languages/themes/eduma‑fr_FR.po and you write that it will be protected from automatic updates.
But Loco writes here that the Custom directory wp‑content/languages/loco is safe location.
Who is right?

2) Loco Translate forces its own safe location always takes priority as long as the plugin is enabled.
But this doesn’t work for Eduma. Eduma uses the System catalog.
How to make the Loco language directory a priority instead of the System one?

“To avoid losing translations when updating, you should choose the System category” — Really?
Maybe LearnPress doesn’t work the way I understand. Perhaps I’m taking the documentation too literally. Please confirm that the LearnPress translations in the wp‑content/languages/plugins folder will not be affected by any update.

Root of the problem: System LearnPress translations are loaded too early.
Plugin authors should not load translations until all plugins have initialized. If they do, they prevent other plugins (such as Loco Translate) from modifying the standard loading process.
Thanks to Timur Kamaev
Here is the solution, you can add it to your user manual.:

<?php
add_filter( 'option_active_plugins', 'load_plugin_first');

function load_plugin_first($plugins)
{
// Checking the existence of a plugin
if ($key = array_search('loco-translate/loco.php', $plugins)) {
// Removing a plugin from the array
unset($plugins[$key]);
// Adding a plugin to the beginning of the array
array_unshift($plugins, 'loco-translate/loco.php');
}
return $plugins;
}
You need to put this code in a file:
/wp-content/mu-plugins/change-plugins-priority.php
Now everything will be fine. Custom translations should be located in the safe Loco folder /wp‑content/languages/loco/plugins
You can rest assured that they will not be lost during updates.

Hi. I want to transfer all existing product lists from woocommerce to Learnpress -> “COURSE”. Please help. Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry, we don’t have this feature right now. Currently you can sell courses through woocommerce products by going to learnpress => settings => payment => woocommerce => turn on option 2. https://prnt.sc/1Mcs-sHFMBKZ

Thanks.

Hi spyngr,

This is a Landing Page, It is not a completed Demo like Demo Main or Demo Marketplace. You can import this Page to the existing Website.

Please follow this instruction: https://thimpress.com/knowledge-base/import-eduma-landing-page/

Hello, I want to know if your theme supports the possibility of selling the courses as a membership and also optionally selling them individually if the user is not subscribed to any membership. Thank you

Yepp, we are now compatible with Paid membership plugin which allows you to sell courses as a membership. You can refer to: https://docs.thimpress.com/paid-membership-pro-add-on-for-learnpress

You said, Please contact us for using this purchase code on another domain. can you please transfer the existing purchased code to my domain. I’ll not use the domain again it expiered which I activated my purchase code on can you fix this please I don’t want to purchase the license again when I have it!!!!

Hi,

We have deleted it, you can activate the license on the new site.

Thanks.

Changed the domain and there is no update. What is the solution?

Hi,

I don’t understand your concerns, please explain in more detail.

Thanks.

I would like to understand about security issues. Is there a way to create on the fly links to videos? Student can download videos? How can we protect the content against piracy?

Hi,

Currently, you can upload videos to third-party sources: YouTube, Vimeo, so you can easily assign video links to courses.

Thanks.

I think you did not understand, I do not want to use YouTube and Vimeo because the student can share the link and I loose sales. Or they can download from youtube and vimeo and share again.

I am worried about piracy of my content.

Hi user Easycolor,

To add videos to a course in Eduma/LearnPress, there are 2 ways.

The first one is uploading the video directly to your site. To prevent downloading videos, you may follow the instructions here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/disable-video-download/.

The second method is to upload your videos to 3rd-party video platforms. In LearnPress, our users usually use Vimeo & YouTube. If you set up the videos to the status Password or Private, users can’t download the videos. However, we are unable to stop them from screen-shooting the videos.

We hope this comment will help you a lot.

Thanks & Regards, ThimPress – Customer Support

How do I deregister the license on a site that is no longer

We have deleted it, you can activate the license on the new site.

Thanks.

Thank you very much.

[pre-purchase question] When I buy Eduma theme, the 19 Premium Learnpress Add-on will be included. I don’t pay more money for LearnPress PRO Bundle at https://thimpress.com/product/learnpress-pro. Is this right?

Hi,

Yes, if you buy a theme, there will be some add-ons included with the theme, not all add-ons in the learnpress premium package.

Thanks.

When admin set a course to private visibility, it disappears from the All Courses page, even for the admin. Is this even legal? The administrator, as usual, hoped to see a private course in the general listing, but marked “Private”.

Hi,

If you set the course status to “private”, the admin can only view the course in the backend, and it will not be displayed on the frontend. Sorry, we don’t have the feature you want yet.

Thanks.

Hello thimpress team I had installed the theme on another site which is down. Now when I try to install the theme on the current project the activation key was hold by the first domain. can you please give me another activation key when you remove that one which is used before

Hi,

Sorry, each license can only be activated on one theme. If you want to install it on another site, you must buy an additional license or delete the license on the old site. please check again.

Thanks.

In PMPro Advances Settings I activated option
“Only members will see restricted posts/pages in searches and archives”
but the restricted course is still visible to everyone on the All courses page.

I tried using plugin “LearnPress – Paid Membership Pro Integration” and plugin “Paid Memberships Pro – Custom Post Type Add On”, but still the restricted course does not become invisible.
Why does PMPro successfully hide posts/pages but not courses?

How to hide a restricted course from the All courses page?

Hi,

Sorry we don’t have this feature now. Currently, the courses will still be displayed, but only users with a membership level can view details of the courses in that level.

Thanks.

You declared PMPro compatibility. Hiding posts is a key feature of PMPro as opposed to other concepts (roles, passwords…).
Maybe there is some shortcode with options or standalone code snippet for All courses page?

Hi,

Sorry, we are compatible with paid membership, but for membership add-ons, please contact the paid membership plugin. Or if there is a problem with the course, please create a ticket on the forum so we can check for you.

Thanks.

can’t install add-on says invalid purchase code. Please fix. Urgent

Hi,

Sorry, I just talked to the team again, please contact us here https://www.facebook.com/ThimPress/ to receive a discount for the add-on.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry, we are checking the problem, when it is resolved I will notify you on the forum.

Thank you for solving it! grazie

Hi, we have a problem using WP in Sloveninan languge… we get Javasript/Jquery errors and 404 errors in console… This are 404 error: /wp-content/plugins/school-management/lib/validationEngine/js/languages/jquery.validationEngine-sl.js?ver=6.5.4

/wp-content/plugins/school-management/assets/css/dataTables.min.css?ver=6.5.4

and these are other errors:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘__k’) at U (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:8915) at o.handleRenderRequest [as drainedOption] (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:164116) at e.drained (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:111392) at e.tryDrain (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:111119) at e.request (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:110583) at t.render (fullcalendar.min.js?ver=4.1.1:6:164829) at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (admin.php?page=smgt_attendence:638:14)

Uncaught (in promise) Error: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received

But when I change language to English everything is working fine, but in the school management it doesn’t allow Slovenian characters like čćžđš when I want to add new classes and users…

Can you please check why I’m getting these errors?

Best regards, Peter
