This is a subscription model!!??

It’s really a bad experience when you purchase something you think is a one time purchase and it turns out to be a subscription model. It’s never good to surprise your customers.

Waking up to an unexpected $79 charge for something I ended up never getting to work, is like tasting soap for the first time. You never forget it and you do everything possible to never try it again.

Please provide a refund.

Just to clear things up, the theme is a one time payment and there is no subscription involved. If you need additional features to your site, then you can purchase the additional plugins which are subscription based. This information is actually included in our sales page here. Purchasing the plugins is purely optional and you can also choose to cancel your subscription.

As per your question here:

The only configurable section is the search page where you can change the listing card’s column to either 1, 2, or 3. Three is the maximum number of columns that you can have. However, changing this to either 4 or 5 columns in both the search page and home page sections would require some custom work. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have an option to set more than 3 columns.

The listify theme comes in two demo versions whereby we have the classic demo and the rentals demo. You may have probably checked out the classic demo which does not have the booking option. This functionality is enabled by the Woocommerce Bookings plugin which is found in the rentals demo.

Hi there,

I’m having this issue and it’s causing problems when I update my site to WordPress 5.51. Can you update WooCommerce please.

Error is : “Your theme (Listify) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again”.

Hi, is it possible to migrate from another theme without loosing the listings?

Hi,

You can change the URL structure to match the demo by updating the permalinks settings in WordPress. Here’s how you can do it:

Go to your WordPress dashboard. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks. Scroll down to the Optional section. Under Job base, replace the current value with listing. This will change the URL structure to https://domain.com/listing/listingname/.

You can change the URL Job Base to be Jobs instead of listing.

This will change the URL structure to https://domain.com/job/listingname/.

Dear Astoundify,

We would like to know if theme system supports commission fees upon online bookings, of each listing type/category. And how is that working: e.x. we get all the money giving next the amount to our listing clients or the system split the commission and charge it while it gives the rest to listing clients. Also does it support the previous ones with third party, local bank, plugins for charges with that way?

Hey there,

With respect to your question here, commissions on bookings is not a feature directly provided by the theme. You would need to install the Products Vendors plugin and WooCommerce Bookings plugin first.

With the help of the Product Vendors plugin, you can actually specify a commission for the Vendors of which will be paid out to them. Here is a doc on this: https://kb.astoundify.com/article/511-how-does-a-listing-owner-get-paid-out-when-a-product-booking-is-purchased-on-their-listing/.

As for the payment charges, the theme supports the official payment gateways by WooCommerce: https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/. Any gateway here should work with the theme. However, for payouts, please note that Product Vendors plugin uses PayPal.

You helped me a lot with that information but i would i also like to ask if we purchase the recommended plugin (woocommerce vendor) will this supported by your theme/back/front end also? I mean will the the look style (css) and components, features of listing directory be supported by vendors plugin? And also client be able to CRUD inside its dashboard its listing directory with vendors settings/commission/fees?

Can elementor free or WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress be used to customize listify?? What limitations are there?

You can use Elementor with Listify. You will however need to first install our Elementify plugin. Elementify plugin enables support of Elementor by the theme. With the plugin, this facilitates building custom pages using Elementor. In order to therefore use the Elementify widgets, please create a new page from the Pages>Add New section within your dashboard and assign the Elementor Full width template to it. You can then proceed to editing the page using Elementor and using the Elementify widgets. Please also note that the Elementify plugin will enable you create and edit custom pages and not create or edit existing pages and listings. No, you don’t need the Listing Payments plugin. It is basically used to create listing packages to allow listing submission for a specific length, or number of submissions. When used with WooCommerce Subscriptions it becomes very easy to create recurring income for your website.

You only need the WooCommerce Product Vendors and WP Job Manager – Products plugins for the sale of products or attaching coupons to your Listify site. Please go through this doc and the doc on adding products to a listing to get an insight of how this is done.

Pre Sale Questions:

1. Can we use custom fields to the listing forms? I have listings with categories/listing type and each category/type listing form has different fields related to the category/type

2. Restrictions: I have plans with level. These paid subscribers will see other users lists, but certain features will be hidden to the user who have paid for a lower plan. So the restrictions are based on VIEWING USERS not Listing Author plan

3. Plans needs to have expiry and Listings also expiry. This will depend on the plan selected

4. Free plan needs to auto assign to the user as soon as they register

5. Can we have an option upload document feature as well? this needs to show in frontend according to the user plan. if not, can we Custom coding for file upload, is that compatible with your theme? is it set in a user friendly way. Or use a third party plugin with shortcode option?

7. I want to see how the backend form builder if possible just to get and idea if this is what we are looking for, also so to see how the restrictions are set

As per your queries here:

1. You will need to use the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. This plugin will allow you to create custom fields for your submission form.

2. With both the WP Job Manager Field Editor and the Paid Listings plugin you can either show or hide specific fields based on the selected package. Please see this doc for further clarification

3. Both of these are much possible. You can set the expiry date of a listing when creating/editing a listing where you will need to set a specific date from the back-end. For the plans, you can select the expiry from the listing packages.

4. This functionality is currently not possible.

5. This is possible using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

6. As it currently stands, you can use the Private messages to contact authors directly.

7. As of now, we don’t have a backend dashboard for users. You can only view the back-end upon installation of the theme.

Is it possible to limit the number of products that a user can publish? How is it possible to do this?

For the booking enquiry email to be sent to both the site admin and the listing owner, you must integrate your site with the Ninja Forms plugin. You would then need to follow the steps in this doc to achieve this.

You can do a bulk import of your listings[hotels] which are stored in an XML or CSV file using the WP All Import plugin.
