thank you for your response. Attached are two screenshots of the page. Currently, the top sticky line reaches the top of the screen when a user scrolls. In previous versions of the Ohio theme, the sticky line never reached the top of the screen; there was always a top margin separating the sticky line from the top of the screen. Is this a bug?

Thank for the super quick reply. I understand now why it happened (I made some pretty heavy changes to CSS in order to make the slider to my liking). So yeah, this was not a bug, sorry for the mistake. I fixed it already.

Hello, after the Update we have an issue with the buttons from your template. We can not change the alignment of the buttons on our website. For example, we choose align right or mid, but the button stays on the left. Could you help us please with this issue? Thank you in advance!

Did you try to roll back to the previous version to ensure that the problem is related to the recent Ohio’s update? There’re some JS error in the console of your website. Maybe some of the third-party plugin is causing the problem, try to disable them one by one to debug the issue.
If none of those works, get back to us by sending us a personal message and provide your temporary WP credentials.

Yes, I’ve manually edited it by copying it to child theme and editing it from a last 3.3.8 version. It’s not natively available. We need it in the theme don’t we? Thank you.
We’ve checked the close button and it’s available in the latest version as it used to be. You can see it on any of our demo templates. Make sure that you didn’t edited Ohio’s source files, try to reinstall the theme and check it again.

Ah, now we got it, we just missed the close link (not the close icon) from your previous message. You are right we have removed this link since it’s duplicating the close button functionality to make the subscribe form more clear. Please let us know if you need any assistance to get it back and we will gladly help you with that using a child theme.

It was omitted from your changelog. And it’s a faster way to close the popup such as viewing the website in 4K screens the close “button” is far away from the popup and way way tiny/smaller. So I think the link more important rather than the button.
Thanks for your opinion, we will consider an option to choose the close button position (inside/outside popup window). Currently, we can help you with getting back the “don’t show this popup” link if you wish.

Thank you, but as you can see I’ve already done it to bring it back for now. But this is bad. Because of the following reasons:
1. It was not stated at the changelog / release notes.
2. According to 3.3.8 code it already had an “explicit option” to turn off showing it from the Theme Options. So, if people wanted to hide it, they could have very easily.
3. As mentioned previously, on 4K screens or higher resolutions the “close button” you referring to is nowhere to be found near the actual popup. And it’s way smaller, hard to see. It was the “close button” that you should’ve removed, not the link (which is INSIDE the popup and can clearly be seen at any resolution).
Removing such a feature with “on/off” toggle altogether without informing the customers is not okay at all.
You are right, we will get the option back.

Not sure if it’s my fault or bugs after the latest update(s).
1. The color of selected/highlighted text is transparant red (the default theme colour of Ohio) even though I changed mine to green. https://tppr.me/pHfLC9 2. The “scroll to top” option stays visible on mobile devices even though I’ve disabled it in the theme global and page specific settings. https://tppr.me/x0oGwJNext to these 2 items I would like to make a suggestion if you’re open for it. I find the mobile hamburger menu on mobile very “basic”. The desktop one looks very nice with some huge font sizes, nice hover effect, cool slide/fade up animation and a nice layout. The mobile version though is very basic/standard/boring and looks very inconsistent with the desktop one. I really hope you will make some nice visual updates to this. Also if possible, I would like to suggest a option where the hamburger menu on mobile can slide in from the right. Now it always slides in from the left, and the close button is on the top left, even though my hamburger menu button is located on the top right. So it would make more sense if the menu slides in from the right, and the menu close button is also located on the right (at the exact same place where the hamburger menu button is actually located).

We’ve checked the mentioned options and didn’t find any issues, they should work properly. Try to disable an options cache under Theme Settings > Performance > Options Cache and check if the issue still persist.

Thanks for checking. I didn’t had that option turned on in the first place. I even installed a cache plugin to delete the cache. Deleted the site settings and browser history in Chrome. Opened in Incognito mode. Even tried Safari (including private mode). But all without succes. Can you confirm that when you select any text on the website it gets a semi transparant green color instead of semi transparent red color?

1. Selection Color. You are right, there problem is that you didn’t set the selection color in Theme Settings and it stays Ohio’s red. We will fix it, so that it will be the same as the primary color even if the selection color option is empty.

2. Correct. Not sure if it had to do with cache or theme settings. I played a lot with it, trying all kinds of different things. At least now it’s hidden. A follow up question to this point though. As you can see in the screenshot you provided. There is this white/empty space within the footer (above the divider line). How can I get rid of this white/empty space. And next to that, how can I change the color of the footer to match the background color of the website (so basically the same color as the “contact” section right above the footer. https://tppr.me/fc7OZeI hope you can assist me with my last two questions.

1. Right, we will add the fix to Ohio’s next release.
2. From your WP dashboard navigate to Theme Settings > Footer > General > Background or if the footer is hidden use the following option instead: Theme Settings > Footer > Copyright Area > Background.
As for the space, you can hide it using custom CSS so far and we will fix its visibility conditions in the next update:

Regarding point 1. It doesn’t exactly fix my problem. I want the footer/copyright area to be transparant (to not have a color). If I do it through the settings, I need to select a color because if I leave the setting blank (transparent) the color stays light grey. I fixed it with custom css for now, not sure if this is also a bug that can be fixed or this is done intentionally this way.

Try to set the following value for the footer background color:
rgba(255,255,255,0.0001)
You will get the transparent footer in that case.

Hi guys, thank you always for your great effort, also our installation start to have a lot of problems due to the last updates. 3.3.9, 3.4 and 3.4.2
1 – Can’t edit the Elementor portfolio page if asynchronous animation is enabled (i’ve read that happened to another user also)
2 – The portfolio page does not arrange the cards in the right way (https://ibb.co/DLCPs3p) and with the right heights (look at the error here https://ibb.co/Jd5HtxL) Sometimes the grid renders on two columns and distances between rows is right (https://ibb.co/tsjXYWG)
We’ve tried to roll back to 3.3.8 and Elementor 3.21.x but bugs are not solved.
We’ve noted that if we disabled the stretch option made by js help the grid became functional but not as we would like it to be (cards are too little)
we’ve got a dump of a 3.3.8 version end of May where everything works fine
Yesterday I revert to a 26 June backup (always 3.3.8) but the error is still there!

I see your theme is fully compatible with WPML, there is even a WPML toggle in the theme settings.
Is this the only plugin that is going to work with the default theme language dropdown/switcher in the menu bar? Or are there other (more affordable) plugins that will make the language dropdown/switcher work in the menu?

I purchased two themes as the records indicate however recently I imported some demo content and it overrided my theme even after toggling the “The Settings” off in the popup window. It also mentions I should toggle “install global settings” but I cannot find this anywhere. Please advise.
