Hello, Can you tell me how can I build a header for the mobile version of the site that is different from the desktop version with wpbakery. I can’t find a good explanation anywhere. Thank you

Hello, @gs-webcreator,

To manage different layouts for various devices using the WP Bakery editor, take advantage of the responsiveness features for columns. You can follow this guide: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/control-elements-different-devices-responsive-column-controls/ . Set up elements to be visible on desktop but hidden on mobile, and vice versa. This approach allows you to easily customize layouts for different devices.

hi when I use the countdown timer on the single product page builder. with a variable product it only shows when a variation is selected. is there a option to show it always?

Hello, @dennygoosensen,

The countdown timer’s default functionality is designed to activate when you select a product variation, ensuring it always displays only when a variation is chosen.

Hi, but there is no option to show it always instead of only when variation is selected?

Hello, @dennygoosensen,

That is what I told you it always shows only with the simple product but not with the variable products. This happens because variable products depend on variations, and the behavior is applied to those variations. Therefore, it only appears with variable products when you select a specific variation. This is the default functionality and cannot be changed unless you use code customization or a third-party plugin.

Incident Report to Theme Developer Support

Issue Description:

We are experiencing critical errors with the Porto theme across different PHP versions (7.4, 8.0, and 8.1). The errors consistently relate to a missing framework.php file within the ReduxCore directory. Below are the specific error messages encountered for each PHP version:

Hello, @jer23jk,

Thanks for your report, I am personally using the latest version of the theme with the PHP version 8.2 and also tested with PHP version 8.4 as well and there is no such issue on my test site.

I kindly request you to please share the small video clip to duplicate the same issue at my end on my test site, so that it will be easy for us to look and fix that issue.

Once you will share the video, I will follow it and then let you know that the issue is there in our theme or only on your site.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi, PT-Support2

Thank you for your prompt response.

The issue is quite straightforward: when I update to the latest version of the Porto theme, my site breaks on any version of PHP that I have tested (PHP 7.4, 8.0, and 8.1).

Given the nature of this issue, it’s not really something that can be captured effectively in a video. The site fails immediately upon activating the latest version of the theme, resulting in the fatal errors I described in my initial report.

To clarify:

I update the theme to the latest version. The site then breaks and shows a fatal error message across all tested PHP versions. Reverting to the previous theme version resolves the issue. If you require any further information or a different type of documentation to help replicate the issue, please let me know.

Hello, @jer23jk,

Please clone your site as a test site and share your site WP Admin URL and Credentials along with the Cpanel Login details with us via our support system so that our experts can check that issue on your site and help fix it.

Hello, @aky_p,

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Go to Porto >> Theme License and unregister the theme license.
Re-register the theme using the same purchase code.
First, update the theme by going to Appearance >> Themes.
Next, update the plugins one by one from Appearance >> Install Plugins.
This should help resolve the problem.

You don’t need to worry—this is a default feature of the theme. You can easily set it up using the plugin included in the theme package. For detailed instructions, please check our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/single-product-builder-elements/

Hi, I’m trying to insert various filters, including BRAND, in the sidebar of existing filters, for this I’m using the “Filter Everything” plugin, the plugin works well in the desktop version, but in the mobile version it is not displayed, the creator of the plugin says that the theme is hiding the plugin and does not display it correctly, and he told me to contact you because he can not do anything in this case, can you help me?

Hello, @mirkozax,

Well we have to check the situation on your site, as the plugin “Filter Everything” is the third party plugin so that might be the confliction issue.

Please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look into it for you on your site and help you out if possible.

Hi Porto, Do you have notice about this warning? Remote get: wp_remote_get() failed. Contact your hosting provider.

appears in my woocommerce – status mayber after update last version of wordpress. Maybe any conflict with theme?

thanks.,

Hello, @Joaquim_,

It looks like your server does not support the wp_remote_get() function which is a default WP function btw. wp_remote_get() uses loopbacks.

So you will contact with your hosting provider and ask him if he can remove those limits for you.

Hello, @Joaquim_,

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use the same style directly. However, you can customize the element I mentioned in my previous reply using Custom CSS or the available styling options for that element, depending on your needs.

The installed demo looks like have minify CSS and runs cash optimizers? What if i do not want them? How much time to fix it? Is it rational to be minified in the configuration process? 3. Hello, I sell clothes. I would like to display the color variations of the clothes as separate products on the product category page. Is this possible? How can I do it? Thanks.

Hello, @schero26,

Unfortunately, WooCommerce does not have a built-in option for this functionality by default. To achieve it, you’ll need to use custom code or a third-party plugin that meets your needs. I found a helpful discussion on this topic that you might find useful: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25826092/display-product-variations-on-category-page

I want to use this theme for another client. I am using a custom product builder. My client would like the ability for a user to make the selections and be able to download a PDF that they can send to get pricing. Is this possible?

Hello, @TriadMarketing,

Unfortunately, the default WooCommerce functionality doesn’t support this. You’ll need to explore third-party plugins that might better meet your needs.

Hi, I have a monitor resolution of 1920×1080 and the product images are blurry, even at higher resolutions they are blurry. How can I make the product images on the product pages always appear in focus? I upload images in 800×800 and 1000X1000 I followed these instructions: https://woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/ I also tried changing the measurements in Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images but nothing changes even after clearing the browser and WP cache

Hello, @mirkozax,

I have tried to check your site and found it is not live for visitors, It shows this: https://pasteboard.co/z0GkhwV92ZKs.png so please make it live from Wp-Dashboard >> WooCommerce >> Settings >> Site Visibility: https://pasteboard.co/XL1yXiEgWFRQ.png

And for your image issue, please try to create the new test/dummy product and then set the product image as resolution 2000×2000 and check back again to see how it works on 1920×1080 screen resolution.

I upload the main photo of dummy product of Duffle Bag, I have max 1500×1800 pic, is litte better but not perfect, you can see the different between main pic and same image in carousel that is 800×960, now website is live, please tell me when you have check it, thank you.

Hello, @mirkozax,

Thank you for your feedback on the 1500×1800px image. Since you mentioned that it is an improvement but still not perfect, it seems that a higher resolution might be more suitable for larger screen sizes.

Could I kindly request you to test with a dummy image from the internet that has a resolution of 2000×2000 or higher? If this resolves the issue, it would be advisable to re-upload all your product images at a higher resolution for the best quality.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
