I can understand more code is needed because of abundant features of this theme, but it scores extremely poorly loading speed wise, I have tested most of your demos. Any solution to this?

2) The Mageplaza search module included in the release of April 2024 dates from 2023 with version 4.1.0. Can you please include the latest version which is 4.2.1? Older version has a problem with the cron job and the new version brings support for Magento 2.4.7

Hello, we are 3 weeks further. Is there already a release date planned please? I had to disable the CSP verification on the checkout page due your inline scripts. Advising people to disable CSP security is not the way forward. Please update your theme to support the latest changes.

There is a bug in swatch validation, Add to Cart. if no swatch is selected there suppose to be an error message ( there is in default theme ) But this does not show up. You can see it on your own demo.

Openmage question here too. Does the magento 1.9 version of the theme work with PHP 8.4? By the way openmage is a php8 and mysql8 compatible version of magento 1.9, free to download, so you can try it yourself. I don’t want to switch to M2, because it is a complete failure. This question will arise in the future more and more, because nobody wants M2 over openmage. I do not want to pay for it blindly because I can’t get refund if not working.

Magento 1.9 themes are not compatible with PHP 8.4 out of the box. However, OpenMage, which is a modernized version of Magento 1.9, does support PHP 8 and MySQL 8.
And more, We no longer support Magento 1.9 due to its end-of-life status and the lack of updates and security patches. Magento 1.9 is outdated and has been succeeded by Magento 2.x, which offers improved features and security.

No, the Porto Magento 2.x theme doesn’t work with OpenMage 20 (Magento 1.9 fork). It hasn’t been updated since 2018 likely due to a shift in focus from Magento 1.x to newer platforms.
For PHP 8.3, Porto for Magento 2.4.7 should be compatible.

Any plans to do so? As Openmage is becoming a major platform following magneto 2 disastrous performance since release, we dumped it too and returned to 1.9 then openmage. i could beta test it on openmage and provide you feedback
Sorry, but Magento 2.x is a separate, newer version with significant architectural changes and improvements over Magento 1.x. OpenMage and Magento 2.x are not compatible with each other due to these differences.

We implemented security packages (p2) overnight and some js related features stopped working, such as increasing/decreasing of quantity via plus and minus in bundle product and also header links and search box appearing when clicking on icons in page header.

Thank you for your response. The functionalities I mention are from your template. For example: the decrease and increase buttons on the product page come from the porto template file – in the basic Magento template, i.e. luma, these buttons are not included, nor are our dedicated scripts. Are you able to confirm to me that this functionality in your template works with Magento version 2.4.7-p2? I have test checked with Simple Product and here is the same problem.

We are trying to set up Demo 42 and the homepage keeps showing 500 error… we found out that it was being caused by the Filter Product widgets on the homepage: Example: {{widget type=”Smartwave\Filterproducts\Block\Widget\Carousel” layout_type=”owl_list” display_type=”sale_products” product_type=”13” product_content_pos1=”center” product_count=”10” enable_autoplay=”0” show_slide_nav=”1” show_slide_page=”0” enable_slide_loop=”0” desktop_slide_columns=”3” tablet_slide_columns=”3” mobile_slide_columns=”2” extra_class=”custom-nav nav-center-only nav-pos-inside show-nav-hover dots-style-1 flick-carousel”}}
if we remove this widget the homepage works, if we keep the code, it shows 500 error.

Ok. We further noticed that this issue only occours when we have the FPC enabled and use the Product Filter on the homepage. When we disabled the FPC everything started working fine…
