I’m having an issue with the transparent header settings, it doesn’t work when i have force transparent enabled – here is a page where its not working https://forelsket.com/test-page/ – it will work on the homepage and when i create the header in the page settings which i don’t like to do. I’ve never had this issue before it usually always works when i enable force transparent
Hey Egaffin, the Transparent Header effect will be automatically disabled when on a page that has Yoast breadcrumbs (even though you’ve hidden them with custom CSS). If you don’t want to show them, you can alternatively disable them in the Yoast settings, which will allow the transparent header to work and enable you to remove that custom CSS rule.

Hey , guys, have a good day ! With lot’s of good and useful features some of them are kinda questionable – for example -
while setting off canvas mobile menu i (user=) have an option to set an extra class for a menu element , okay, but then you can’t hit this extra class with this css = \ #slide-out-widget-area.fullscreen .menuwrapper li a { – for example – for one button i wanna create a background – i gave it an extra class and spent 2 hours dancing with css and chatgpt to insert this extra class to modify #slide-out-widget-area.fullscreen .menuwrapper li a { background-color:#ebebeb } with no luck = ) and i put it anywhere possibly. and yes if i edit extra class seprately .editme { bg-color:#ebebeb – it kinda works but it hits completely different elements of the same mobile menu button = )
But, if i wanna edit all buttons – #slide-out-widget-area.fullscreen .menuwrapper li a { bg-color: #ebebeb – well, for , sure it works = ) Thanx
Hey raffess, the option to specify a custom class name for menu items is a core WordPress feature, not something we’ve added in Salient. If you would like assistance with creating a specific rule to alter something on your site, please open a ticket on the support forum in regards with your website URL so that we can assist based on your specific settings.

For some reason I can’t seem to delete sections in Toggle Panels feature? I click delete and when it asks if I’m sure, I click yes/ok and it doesn’t change anything. A bug perhaps?

You could copy the function “nectar_logo_output” from salient/nectar/helpers/header.php to your child theme in order to create conditional logic to swap the src based on the page. If you would like in-depth assistance with that, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum.

Haha, ok I thought I did. The nav bar is floating but non of the settings are working. If I adjust the corner radius, uncheck blurred background, or change nav color settings — no changes are updated after they’re saved. Any ideas?

I hadn’t changed anything in the plugins, so I didn’t think of that. I went through and took a look. Found one that might be the issue. The weird thing now is that I can change corner radius and nav item color but the nav bar color never appears — always transparent. I can set it to blurry, but no soild color…

I really wish you could include customization options for Woocommerce page colours (and even a Wpbakery builder for Woo pages), because there are many CSS tutorials around but not quite accomodating to Salient. I wonder why you are not making this option by default. Will you?

I am looking to buy this theme and a few questions 1. Do you support product image as videos? 2. For the hot spot function, I see on mobile it is always full page popup, is there a option for window display? 3. For the hotspot, can we use produce as link? 4. is the layout of the product page and cart page, checkout page fully customizable?

2. That would require custom CSS currently.
3. A link can be used inside of the popover, but not as a direct link when clicking the hotspot button.
4. They are customizable based on the theme options.

I contacted the support team for “WP All in One SEO” and was informed that due to a customization of a plugin used in the Theme, I migrated from “Yoast SEO” to WP All in One SEO, since Yoast SEO was not working either.

Upon checking your website, I noticed that you’re using a page builder called Salient WPBakery Page Builder, which is a customized form of the original WPBakery page builder, likely created by your theme.
We offer integration with the WPBakery page builder as well as the Classic Editor where the scores and suggestions are calculated and shown correctly. However, since your theme is customizing the WPBakery page builder, we don’t have an integration with it. This is the reason why the content analysis suggestions of our TruSEO feature are unable to analyze your content.
We released integration with the WPBakery page builder in December last year. It’s possible that “Salient WPBakery Page Builder” plugin is using an older or fully customized version of the WPBakery page builder and thus our integration isn’t shown.
I suggest you reach out to the Developers of Salient WPBakery Page Builder regarding this and also ask them if you could use the original WPBakery page builder as that would automatically fix the issue.

Salient includes version 7.8 of WPBakery, which was released a couple of weeks ago, so that should not be the issue. Are you using the latest version of the plugin? I’ll reach out to their team to clarify any compatibility issues.
Just to comment on your initial statement as well — we actually offer improved Yoast compatibility compared to the raw WPBakery page builder at this time (assuming you’re on a recent release of the plugin)

I don’t know if it’s because of WPBakery, I have the impression that the SEO plugins are only mapping the short description and are not including the long description of products (woocommerce).
After contacting the WP All in One SEO team, it seems that they identified the error and will test the fix, thank you.
I hope the other plugins fix this issue too.

Hello ThemeNectar, after importing the Mag Demo, the fancyBox3 lightbox doesn’t work with single images that are added in a Text Block or Single Image element. It will just link directly to the image.

On an unrelated note, it seems when I update a post (Mag theme) the date is changed to the actual day and not when it was published. This happens on both a single blog post and blog archives.
The date also can’t be removed from the Blog Archives even though “Remove Post Date” is checked under Blog > Post Meta tab.
I just discovered the date can be removed within the Post Loop Builder Element.

As far as I know v17 is portfolio related update.
Can you please add a feature that will allow us to add second filter to portfolio pages? This will be very useful. For example
Filter 1 would filter services: traditional art, digital art, 3d
Filter 2 will filter industry: medical, media, law etc.
We can also filter colors etc.
Will this be possibly for upcoming update?

Hi, a website performance speed shows that Open Sans is being loaded from Google in addition to my selected font, Plus Jakarta Sans. I have set Plus Jakarta Sans as the default for all fonts, so there should be no reason to get Open Sans. This adds an additional 1,500 ms in load times. Can you please help? Also thinking it could be better to load fonts directly from the site and not use Google Fonts. Thoughts?

1. Open sans is the default font in Salient. You can disable that in the Salient options > Typography tab at the top via the “Default Theme Font Functionality”
2. You can use the plugin Local Google Fonts. However, the CDN that Google uses should offer higher performance than loading the fonts from your own server.

I unchecked all the items (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIin, etc,), but I can still see only the share button to the bottom-right.
Hey apinzon, you’ll need to disable the actual plugin from your WordPress admin > Plugins. Keeping it active will add the sharing button on your single posts.
Is Salient have an option to use placeholders? For example, in the website there is 3 places publish the contact number. Can we put the contact number in a placeholder, so that if the number change, we just need to update in the placeholder, and all info in 3 places would also change.
We cant use global section for this, as global will impact the whole row. We just need to change on the one specific text.

A global section would be required in order to sync content across multiple pages. You could use a global section just for the contact number and add that as needed throughout your pages.
