Ella is the same as any other Shopify theme on the Shopify platform. When a new update version is released, it will be a core theme source, independent from the previous ones you are using. Therefore, your changes on the previous versions will not be included in the update. This problem has happened before, the reason is that the latest update of Chrome has added a short code attribute is no longer supported, then Chrome updated this attribute again and we have promptly fixed this error from Ella 6.5.4 onwards. But it is not clear why they added this code attribute again and it continues to cause errors for sources from Ella 6.5.4 and below.

This is not a theme issue. We would like to explain when you enter a coupon code on the Cart page, it will be applied on Checkout page and the discount price will be shown on the Checkout page, it will not be displayed on the Cart page. We would like to update some information for this case as below:

URLs containing similar content are mostly ‘Related products’ and it is Shopify’s ‘method of tracking’.

You see the warning by Google Search Console for this error “Page is not indexed: Alternate page with proper canonical tag”, right?

Basically, Google is saying we know your main product URL (the canonical) and this one is different but we’re not going to index the URL with these parameters.

When you inspect the URL, it tells you the user declared canonical and Google-selected canonical. As long as these are the same, there’s no concern.

Ella theme also has a similar error but we can edit it to remove ’?variant=43967781339364&currency=USD ?pr_prod_strat=e5_desc&pr_rec_id=1b7a104ce&pr_rec_pid=7607902503140&pr_ref_pid=7607902535908&pr_seq=uniform’ as you want.
