Sticky Header Issue in Latest Version
Hi, my previous version worked well with sticky headers. However, after downloading the latest Porto theme and importing the Shop 48 demo, the sticky header no longer works, even though I’ve enabled all the relevant options in Theme Options and the issue occurred even before I installed any other plugins. I also noticed that it’s not working on your demo site as well. I suspect that there might be a bug in your new version. Both of my websites are using the WPBakery Page Builder.

This isn’t a bug; it’s a settings adjustment. To enable the sticky header, go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header and edit the header using the WP Bakery Page Builder. We have noticed a return of an issue that I believe was resolved a few months back. When you go to edit an wp bakery element you are unable to click the save button.
The console shows the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘getSelection’)
and
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘save’)
When you close and then edit the second time it works

This appears to be a conflict with a third-party plugin. Please disable all third-party plugins on your site and check if the issue is resolved. If it is, you can re-enable the plugins one by one to identify the one causing the problem.

Pre-purchase question. I think your theme (Porto additional setting ) is not working with the Elementor container setup, right? It only works with the elementor old section->column right?

Please note that each license can only be used on one live URL, in accordance with Envato’s policy, which applies to all themes on ThemeForest. We recommend confirming this with Envato as well.
If you want to use the license on a new site, you’ll need to unregister it from your current site. You can do this by navigating to Porto >> Dashboard, and then you can register it on your new site.

Hello, I have one question about the translation of ‘items’ string in mini cart and “Price” tag in wishlist. I have loco translate aswell translated and synced all plugins in order to have “items” tag translated in my mini cart.
Translated string for plugins: Woocomerce Porto Functionality YITH WooCommerce Wishlist
And theme tags for Porto.
The problem is there, “item” tag is translated only when I disable YITH WooCommerce Wishlist plugin ( “Price” tag is never translated ) Do you have any suggestions what could be the cause of this conflict ?

Great to see pre-order option in products meta.
How exactly is that implemented though?
Shouldn’t be posible for a buyer to purchase a product if “pre-order” is checked even if it has 0 quantity in storage?
Additionally wouldn’t be nicer/make more sense if instead of showing/inserting the specific date to be lanched to show/insert in how many days will be available.
Eg. You make an order of custom product that needs x days to be produced…
PS: I think Pre-Order Availability Date Text should be more bold, more in eye catching location or pointed out so the buyer takes more notice. Because now it shows that there is 1+ quantity in storage. Maybe a diffrent way to represent that? Not sure if there is a way to be used in templates builder.

I have updated to the latest 7.2.2 and in my options I do not see the options in Woocommerce for sticky “Add to Cart” bar. I am using Shop Demo 50 if that helps.
Please tell me why I am not seeing it and if its from the demo shop, will it be added for this demo soon?

In Shop Demo 50, we’ve created the single product page using the Template Builder. To edit this layout, navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single Product. From there, you can use the page builder to customize the layout. Be sure to insert the “Sticky Add to Cart” element and adjust it according to your preferences. after your latest update I experience problems with your theme. The image gallery on the single product page is not showing anymore. On mobile devices it also displays wrong. When I rollback to the previous versions the problem disappears.
I turned off all other plugins but this does not fix the problem. I use your theme on 10+ websites and almost everywhere I experience this problem.

You have some error in the latest template updates.
Version 7.2.2 and possibly earlier.
It doesn’t show all colors in the product and category page archive.
When there are 2 colors it shows one and when there are 6 colors it shows 4.
I show up well Colorv in Single Product.
I cleared the cache, it didn’t help.

I had to revert the template to version 7.1.7

After I returned version 7.1.7, I noticed that the radius above the numbers is good, the same as it was set after installing the template.

Versions of the template after 7.1.7 reduced the radius. He was almost crunching the numbers. I thought it was the plugin’s fault and that I would fix it later.
So now I know for sure that a template update is to blame.

More important is the display of colors in the archive and categories.

You can easily toggle the Popup ON and OFF using the builder. Just go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header, then edit the header using the page builder. Hi, in the latest version of the theme, the ability to insert preview images in the menu management seems to have completely disappeared. In the previous version (which I still have installed on some websites), there are the items like ‘Preview Image (default size: 182×136)’, ‘Preview images are hidden in the Toggle and Sidebar menus,’ and ‘Fixed Preview Image,’ while in the latest version, everything has disappeared.
Now, in the megamenu, the previously inserted items still correctly display the preview images, but I no longer have the ability to add preview images to new menu items.
Have these features been intentionally removed, or is it a bug by any chance?

Nevermind, I solved it by myself (timezone didn’t help). Updated WPBakery added overflow:hidden to the Header.

Another garbage update for Porto. Totally screwed my ability to edit big pages (home page in this case) from the back end or the front end. Please fix this dumpster fire.
I’ve restored from a backup. I don’t expect this to get fixed any time soon.
Sure enough – as soon as I went back to the last version – everything works again.
Let’s see how the author tries to blame this on me like he does with everyone else.
