Can you try disabling the option to “Delay JavaScript Execution” in the Salient options > Performance tab? There might be a conflict between that and another plugin active in your setup.

I just tried and it was not this option. I tested by deactivating everything and it worked. So I activated the options one by one to finally identify the faulty “Move jQuery to Footer”.

That’s a known core issue within WPBakery which will only show one time during the upgrade if you have WP_DEBUG active. It will be corrected in the next version.

How to Remove add to cart on mobile hover
Hello, I am trying to remove the ‘add to cart’ action on mobile. It does not make sense as you never hover, and often click accidentaly on add to cart. This is especially on Minimal design. Can I remove this whole thing on mobile?

There’s a theme option “Disable Product Hover Effect On Mobile” in the Salient options > WooCommerce tab which should remove that.

The off canvas menu area does not add a state for when an anchor is intersected on the current page as the desktop header navigation bar does. The underline in the off canvas menu is only shown during the active (when tapping) or hover state on desktop. Adding an underline depending on the current page scroll position would require some custom JS as of now.

1. If you’ve already activated the theme option “Use Transparent Header When Applicable” in the Salient options > header navigation > transparent header effect tab, you can then force that to apply on any page with the following option: https://ibb.co/3rx7V6s
2. Those exact layouts are only available when using the Post Loop builder. The image grid offers a masonry option, but it’s not quite the same. You can read more about it here: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/galleries/

It is about this element: #header-outer .cart-outer .widget_shopping_cart_content p.woocommerce-mini-cart__empty-message When the ‘Cart In Nav Style’ setting is set to ‘Hover Dropdown’. In this case, the caption in the dropdown menu ‘No products in the cart.’ does not inherit the set colour in the settings that were described in the previous post.

WooCommerce does not provide the ability to use the product filters outside of the main WooCommerce archive pages. Even if they were added manually, via the widgetised sidebar element for example, they would not function.

Do make sure the next update has this bug fixed.

Hey segurihost, that appears to be an issue with that specific off canvas menu style. You should be able to correct it prior to the next release by switching to any of the other fullscreen styles. e.g. “Fullscreen Fade”.

Hi, we currently are using Salient theme version 12.1.3 – is it possible to purchase this new version and upgrade fairly seamlessly, or would we need to re-design & reconfigure everything? We just want to confirm the latest version is compatible with what we currently have.

You can easily upgrade from that version. The only thing which you’ll need to consider is if you have template overrides in a child theme. If so, those will likely need to be manually updated after doing the theme update.

1. There is no layout option for a search input like that inside of the header navigation. The search in Salient is a full overlay of the header navigation and changing that would require some customization via a child theme.
2. The category widget will not use checkboxes by default, only the Attribute filter widgets will add those in.

It gets hook into from the woocommerce_simple_add_to_cart (or the variable template if your product is variable).
So is there a way to target this specifically? Because the woocommerce_simple_add_to_cart will effect the whole add to cart and quantity buttons..

1. The newer global section functionality is contained within the Salient Core plugin (latest release is v3.0). Can you confirm that you’ve updated all of your plugins as well?
2. The theme in your Salient options panel is likely coming from a third-party plugin which is overriding our styles for the underlying theme options framework.
