Hi,
I cannot update the theme. 1) I setup the envato account on the theme update settings page “Themeforest Automatic Updates Envato Account Connected” 2) On Automotive Theme Updates page I get that there are updated to be applied (You have version 12.6 installed. Update to version 13.3.3.) 3) I click on “Update Automotive” button
but
I get “Update Theme The theme is at the latest version.”
How can we debug this? Or, how can I manually update the theme and the plugins?

We have adjusted the authentication and update process to work with the Envato changes. As a result of this it sounds like your former connection to Envato is not working.
To resolve this, please manually update your Automotive theme and Automotive Listings plugin via FTP, and then go to Theme Options >> Update Settings and enter your ThemeForest Purchase Code. After you do that, you will be able to automatically update again moving forward.

Does it have an integration panel with automotive portals via API? For example: Webmotors, iCarros, OLX, Mercado Libre?

Yes, depending on what you want to do there are a few different ways you could integrate this without having to customize any of the core files.

We do not currently have a built-in “Captial One” financing integration. We were thinking more it would be embed code you would add. If you want a factory integration with an API or something send us the details to sales@themesuite.com and we can have a look at it for you.

Is it possible to create a URL Slug category in Listings with the ”_” character? The previous version had this option and I have an additional script to import data based on variables with this special character in the name. It is very important for me not to have to rebuild these variables. Can the next version of the Listing fix this?

Hello, i have a pre purchase question about CSV and XML import. in the theme description page, Section: Recently Added Features: CSV / XML File Import – includes an importer with automatic delimiter detection. how does this feature works? and is it the same as the payable Option in: Available Add-On Extensions: Automatic Importer

The CSV / XML file import is a manual import you run under Listings >> File Import and it scans your file and detects your delimiter automatically so you don’t have to configure this for your import to be successful. The main difference is that the premium Automatic Importer plugin automates this process on a schedule that you set, and also has the ability to schedule multiple imports if you have multiple feeds from various sources.
There is a new update to the theme but it gives an error when updating it from WP
We recently changed how the update verification is done. If you manually upload the latest copy of the theme and then authenticate your purchase under Theme Options >> Update Settings you shouldn’t have any further update issues going forward.
Hi i have do the update 20/11/24 and the theme it’s ok but the revslider and wpbaker doesn’t update when upload the revslider show me the message “it’s the same version with old” what can i do it with this ?

I’m not sure what versions you have or why you would be getting that message, but you can download the latest versions of these plugins in the theme bundle (All Files & Documentation) when you download the Automotive theme on ThemeForest from under the ‘Downloads’ tab in your account. Then you can manually just delete these plugins and upload the new versions and activate them.

Could you guys by any change make the filters and the searchform work with “conditional logic” of “conditional fields”? So… when you select the car brand it only show’s the matching/corresponding models….. I think this is a feature request many of us would like to have…..
We already have this option, just toggle Listing Options >> Inventory Page >> Show All Filter Terms and set it to Disabled

You can remove it by just deleting the text value Vehicle Location under Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> Content Tabs >> Fourth Tab

I was unable to update my theme. I had to re-login to my Envato account through the Theme Options – Update settings. But when I choose a usable key to register it says: “Failed to get oAuth token. Please go back and try again” I’ve received this error after multiple attempts and it leaves me unable to update the theme or automotive listings

You will need to manually update your Automotive theme and Automotive Listings plugin to the latest versions, and then just enter your ThemeForest Purchase Code into Theme Options >> Update Settings (you no longer need to do the oAuth connection/token in the newer versions).

Thanks for your interest! The Makes & Models automatically get added as you create your inventory listings, otherwise you would end up with a lot of options in your search filtering that wouldn’t be available.
The option to create a PDF brochure of each car has recently stopped working. I get the following error message: “error generating PDF” If anyone else has a problem with this or has a solution? www.onlycabrios.nl

Thanks for reporting this, it looks like the problem on your website is because you have a Google Map in the footer section as well. If you disable that footer map it would work, but we will release a fix for this in the next update that will allow you to also have a map in the footer when it generates the PDF.
The reason it wasn’t working on our demo is the API changed and we didn’t have the Static Maps API enabled on the key, but if you check again it is working now.
Hi, Is it possible on the listing page to have a “saving” listed on each car? My client sells discounted cars to US Military so every car is at a reduced price. We currently have the original MSRP price as well as the discounted military price, is it possible to also list the savings (I.e. the difference between the two prices?). Hi, I am trying to import listings fromone site to another. Is there an option to do this or do I have to install some sort of plugin?
There isn’t any integrated option to export inventory, just import. Is it just a one time thing you are looking to accomplish? Or something you want to automate on a schedule?
We do have an Automatic Exporter plugin to schedule exports, and an Automatic Importer plugin to automate imports.

Hello, I have a problem with my licenses. I updated the theme and then it asked for a license number. When I enter my license number, I get this error:
There was an error authenticating. This purchase code is already associated with another website (http://blacklimola.com).
My site is https://blacklimola.com and I want my license to be valid there.
http:// and https:// are recognized as different URL’s. You will need to go to https://support.themesuite.com and login and go under My Products and click Reset License and then re-add your purchase code. Thanks!
Yes, I did this process maybe 100 times. But it failed. This time it gives an error like this:
“There was an error trying to reset this purchase code”
I looked at the support messages. The same problem I had was experienced by dozens of people and it was not resolved. If you do not resolve my problem, I will file a complaint against you on Envato. Please.
It sounds like your purchase code is already reset. You can’t reset a purchase code that is already reset. Are you using the latest versions of the Automotive Theme (v.13.3) and Automotive Listings plugin (v.18.5.1)? If not please manually update these to the latest versions, and then you should be able to go to Theme Options >> Update Settings and add your purchase code. If you are still having trouble please open a Support Ticket including the purchase code you are using and temporary login details to your website so we can investigate further.
Yes, I use the versions of the theme and plugin you mentioned. My problem is that my license is defined as http. I use the site as https. Therefore, when I type my license number in the theme settings, I get an error. We need to reset the license. Please.

All, when we set a car as sold, it is not being removed/excluded from listing. I tried to find this option in the configuration but I didn´t find in Theme Options, when we installed the theme it was set to exclude sold cars after 3 days. This functionality is very usefull since it removes all pictures and information from the storage and database. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on here?
Can you confirm that Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Delete Sold Listings is set to On and Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Delete Sold Listings After X Days is set to 3? If you want to remove the pictures you also have to have Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Delete Associated Images set to On.
If you have these options set properly and it’s still not working, you may have to clear cache(s) on your web hosting or WordPress, or you may also have an issue with WordPress cron not running properly, as this has to be working for it to be deleted in 3 days.

Does anyone know what determines “Orphaned content” in the listings display? I have 6500 listings published and 6200 of them are Orphaned content. thanks in advance
Are you referring to the Yoast SEO plugins “Orphaned content” filter that gets added to WordPress?
If so this question would be best directed to them, however I believe that their plugin is looking for links from pages and posts to your individual listings. For some reason Yoast must not be detecting the links to the listings that are on your inventory page.

Elementor Pro is not bundled with it, only the free Elementor plugin. It does however fully support Elementor Pro if you wish to purchase a license.

That is quite old (roughly 9 years), we are at version 13.2 now. You will want to make sure you have a full backup of your files and database prior to attempting this, and you will likely need to upgrade WordPress core, and update the PHP version on your web hosting to a currently supported version: https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php – I’m assuming this is also out-of-date if you are still running software this old without errors.
Envato has also changed from their previous API system to a new OAUTH system for automatic authentication for updates. You will need to manually update your Automotive theme and Automotive Listings plugin to the latest versions via FTP, and after you do that you can reconnect your Envato account for automatic updates moving forward under Theme Options >> Update Settings.
