Thank you for the reply. One more question…Is it possible to install this theme and start off with it looking just like your sample and then I can make changes from there?

When you first install it, its bare bones. But then you just need to import the XML file that comes with it. But it does not include the sliders.

You need custom CSS for that, and its best if we can see your site. Below is the CSS you need, adjust the “49px” amount, that is the default value. Change it to a lower number and out the CSS in the CSS field in theme options.

That Avada skin is being added back in in 2.0.7, it was simply left out. It will be back in less than a day and you can update it.

But that is just the “avada” skin, if you are using any of their built in skins then those have possibly changed. They change them all the time.

You can edit the skin files located at “avada > framework > plugins > layerslider > skins”

If it looks as bad as you say then you are doing something wrong.

If you are having loading issues, then its your content. Make sure your images are the exact size they need to be. ANd if you have videos in the slider, then you need to check your source and make sure they are not having issues. For example, Vimeo was down earlier today.

And I know I’ve mentioned this before, but PLEASE only post in one area, and that would be our forum.

Which buttons and on which page are you seeing this issue? Are they customized buttons and did oyu make customizations to the theme files?

I dont see any of our built in buttons on your pages, so I assume its because of the customizations you made.

hello again thanks for the response. The iphone still shoes the shortcode on all the pages where we use the [/one_fourth] code and also on each page the leave a comment box is also there – when we do not want it and have disabled comments the site on iPhone http://abpco.org.gridhosted.co.uk also I still want to be able to see the site as it looks on a normal websrowser on the iphone rather than a mobile version – is this possible? I checked the ipad box but that has not made any difference.

What modifications have you made to the files? We do not have these issues on our demo site, you can check it on your phone or ipad.

The only way that would be happening is if something changed in the code. And thats not something we can track down after changes have been made.

I suggest replacing the CSS files on your server with the original ones you get from our download.

And to turn off responsiveness on your iphone/ipad and any other mobile device, all you need to do is uncheck the “responsive” layout in theme options. That will give you the desktop version on all devices.

if you ahve further questions then you can post this up on our forum, but I know the devs are going to tell you to replace the CSS files because that is what is causing the issue since we dont have this issue on our demo sites. Its a change that has made it this way.

The best thing to do if you want to modify the CSS is to insert it in the CSS filed in theme options, that will override all the theme CSS and allow you to change it to your liking.

I’m not sure what you mean by all the shortcodes? You can use the mobile version or turn it off.

In general options, you can select to turn off “responsiveness”, that will give you the fixed layout on all screens, which is what I think you want.

Right nwo there are no update links for themes on themeforest. The purchases have to be verified. So for now, you need to download the theme again from your downloads tab, then replace the theme folder via FTP.

In our future releases, we are adding an auto updater, but there will still be a need to verify with THemeforest database.

Or you can insert the code in the other field I mentioned, that will work the same.

Thanks for the comments! Which slider are you using? There are 2 types, animated sliders and regular image sliders.

Whichever one you use, you should watch our video tutorial that is included in our documentation. It shows you from start to finish how to make a slider and slide.

When you say “rotate”, what do you mean? It does not move through to the next slide?

Watch the video tutorial for whichever slider you are using. If using the animated sliders, we prefer the Rev Slider for its ease of use for beginners.

Go to the “extra” tab in theme options and input a number under “testimonial speed”. Default is 4000, insert higher for longer, or lower for shorter.

What version of Avada are you on? An update was done and we are now on 2.0.6, the older google analytics field in 2.0.5 had an issue and did not work.

So you can update the theme to 2.0.6, or you can insert your code in the Space before </head> field on the same tab in theme options, that will work as well.

1. Page builders like VC have to be integrated into the theme for them to work perfectly, so I cant tell you 100% that it will work. But I can say that we are going to be building our own page builder for Avada in a future release, but I dont have a date of when that will be. But out pages are easily build using shortcodes, its the next best thing and is very quick once you do one page. We have video tutorials to help you as well.

2. Hmmm, not for most things. But we do outline how big featured images are, etc. But that kind of thing is easy to figure out, just use Firebug browser extension to see if you need to, but anything you upload will be scaled to fit eh size for more areas, or you can insert a custom size like for featured images if you want.

Right now its only possible if you customize the code. But this has been a big request from our users so we are going to figure out a way to add this feature in a future release, most likely in Avada v3.0, which will be a big feature update like Avada 2.0 was.

So its coming soon and you will be able to easily select it via theme options.

That just requires a little custom CSS. Insert the below CSS in the CSS field in theme options, its on the “CSS” tab. The first number “5px” is the one that controls that area, the default was “55px” so I reduced it to 5px and its much closer.

#main { padding:5px 10px 45px; }

That will do the trick

No we have not had that error, our test sites run multi-site and I know of at least a few other users who run it without issue. I installed the new v2.0.6 earlier today for a user on multi-site.

Have you checked your PHP logs? We can certainly look into it for you.
