Yes its possible, I’ve seen other users do this. But it would require adding the code for that, which you would need to do on your own since we only provide support for using the theme as it comes and any bug related issues. But if you know how to do that kind of thing, it will be an easy edit.

I’m very sorry but we can’t support 3rd party plugins. Whenever an issue like this comes up, the first thing a plugin author will tell you is its the themes fault, and its very possible that is not the case. We are not the developers of that plugin so we can’t be the ones to fix it.

With the number of 3rd party plugins available, its impossible for us (or anyone for that matter) to test them all. There will always be conflicts with some plugins because different people develop each and every plugin or theme. That is not to say its the themes fault or the plugins fault, its just how the technology is.

We have not had issues with any other plugins causing the sites to go down, its been compatible with most major plugins our users have tried.

If I were you I would try to get more information from them to see if it can be resolved. That is a paid plugin that has a montly service fee, we are apt to testing free plugins if issues arise but that one has not come up. I can add it to our list to check, but I cant promise it would be fulyl tested since it only has a 14 day trial period. And most likely its not an issue with our theme, its probably something that would need to be fixed on both ends.

I wish I coudl tell you differently You can always post this on our support forum and see if any other users have used that plugin, maybe they can shed some light on it. I would out “USER HELP REQUIRED” in the title to help identify the need.

Its best to do it via FTP. All you need to do is replace the current “Avada” theme folder with the new “Avada” theme folder.

it will be located at “wp-content > themes” on your server.

Sorry you are having this issue. Are you using the child theme? If so, I suggest updating to the latest version of Avada, which is 2.0.7. There was a child theme issue in a prior version that caused this issue but its been fixed.

Update to the new version, if you still have the issue after that, send me an email and I’ll see whats going on. Its easily done, that is just a gallery of images that use the light box. We have a page like this on our demo as well.

All you need to do is upload your images, then choose to create a gallery out of them, the lightbox function will automatically happen.

Do you mean the font we use in our demo site? If so, we user Museo Slab 500 for headings and menu, and PT Sans for body copy.

PT Sans is a google font you can easily select via theme options. Museo Slab is not a google font but can easily be added to our custom font field. See the “Museo Slab” section of our documentation, it has all the instructions you need to use that font, including a video tutorial!

At the moment that is not possible, it only support a left or right sidebar. But we are adding this feature to a future release, and all updates are 100% free so you will be able to do this soon.

As you can clearly see from our demo, its not slow.

Your hosting company is completely wrong, there is not a bug with the flexslider. You can verify this on our demo, and none of our other users have had issue with it.

If you are having issues with speed then its your internet service provider, your server, or your content.

You would need to modify the header.php file, and also add custom CSS for any new code that you add. If you are unfamiliar with editing PHP and CSS, then it will be difficult.

We do have a support staff person on our forum who takes on small customization jobs like this. But it would cost extra, its a per project fee. Our support only covers regular use of the theme and any bug related issues.

But, we are going to be adding this feature in a future release. We’re going to offer a second header design option that will allow users to have social icons and text in the header. But that will be in a future release, but all updates are free once you buy the theme.

Also, I don’t know if this helps those who may be considering purchasing this theme, but I am practically computer illiterate and know extremely little if anything at all about code, CSS, or any of the inner workings of a website. The Avada theme removes all the worry, hassle, frustration and angst that beginners (and novices) feel when designing websites. If you can read and follow directions, this theme is for you. I’ve tried a hundred plug-ins with other themes and the Avada theme makes almost all of them unnecessary and obsolete.

For menu to be moved up, use below CSS and adjust the “15px, default was “42px”

#nav ul li  { padding: 0 15px 0 0; }

To move up content below header, use below CSS, adjust the first number “5px”, default was 55px.

#main { padding: 5px 10px 90px; }

But for your slider, you could insert it via page options instead of a shortcode, that would make it closer also.

You need WP 3.4 or higher. update your WP to 3.5, then install the theme.

Yep, update your version of Wordpress to WP 3.5.

If you ahve the white screen, then you will need to remove the Avada theme folder first via FTP. Then update Wordpress, then install Avada.
