Hello, I want to buy the theme and take advantage of the Black Friday offer, but I have a problem with the new version of WordPress, the TagDiv Composer plugin doesn’t work. When I try to edit my site, it just keeps going around but never loads for me to edit. I see that the problem only occurs in the new version of WordPress, since with version 6.0 of WP the TagDiv Composer plugin does work. Do you have a solution for this?

The composer works fine with the latest wordpress version. If there is a problem on the website where you are testing, it is probably caused by something specific, like the content of the page/content, or a plugin conflict, or maybe other factors. We can investigate such cases and try to find the cause of the problem, we will need admin login for the website and also cPanel may be needed. Hello, I am writing to you regarding a problem that a customer of mine is experiencing. My customer’s 400 GB server is full and the biggest reason for this is that an image is uploaded in too many different sizes.

The theme will create all the thumbnail sizes that are enabled in the theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ Usually not all of them have to be created, we recommend disabling the ones that are not needed. To remove them, first you have to know which ones are actually needed. To do that you could disable all the sizes, and then check the website carefully. Check what placeholders are displayed https://prnt.sc/LnSuUdX0zsZY and enable just those sizes. Then regenerate the thumbs with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ Activate the option to remove unused thumbs as well. This will take some time however, for so many images. But it’s the only way.

https://prnt.sc/uYnoHfsQpLodUsing retina thumbnails is optional. If those were enabled, the theme creates double the amount of thumbnails. There will be 2 for each size, a normal thumb and a retina thumb.
Not just the theme uses thumbs. Wordpress creates 3 sizes, and plugins can create them as well. The ones from wordpress could be disabled https://www.webtechriser.com/how-to-disable-creation-of-unnecessary-thumbnails-in-wordpress/ but if there are also other plugins that create thumbs, then I’m not sure what to suggest, maybe check the documentation of the plugin that creates them.

1. That is possible. By default the Gossip demo uses a width of 1600px https://prnt.sc/253LG-8GYIT7 This can be reduced if you want. The default theme width is 1068px https://prnt.sc/ugc0kWn9AdI3 These are the predefined available widths for the rows https://prnt.sc/CWLfe_dTwqFD And of course, you can also set any custom width you want.
2. Is that a gallery post? And maybe a feature provided by your current theme. With our theme the available post formats are these https://prnt.sc/fv81xBGHa0hJ The only way I can think of to create a similar functionality in the post would be to use post pagination and a standard post. No quiero que salgan las páginas numeradas, si no cambiar el texto ”>” por Siguiente, ”<” Anterior y los números que aparece un texto fijo de “Página 1 de 7” por ejemplo como en pantallazo de otro sistema que te enseñé. Mi pregunta es si eso va configurado dentro del tema con alguna función o algo para no meterle un plugin más a mayores a la web.

1) for the blog roll with no image, I cannot get rid of the padding at the top, I guess its there for the image that I have made hidden, I have even tried looking at all the the parameters on the theme example, and I am still getting that padded space at the top.
2) how do you set a different featured image other than the youtube thumbnail, I cannot use the youtube generated thumbnail on the homepage for copyright reasons.
3) how do you remove or hide the “play” button from showing on the thumbail for blog roll lists ( ie for a list of 10 posts on the homepage, I dont want the “play” button on the image
4) how can I change the colour of the play button when the yotube video shows in the post ( can it be different than the youtube red)

I’ve been using the Astra theme for a long time, and they also have templates and pre-designed sites available for import. However, their links never include something like this.
How can this be removed?

Courses is the the name of the custom post type for the Coaching demo. The demo is intended for a website where visitors can subscribe and unlock special courses. Current demo sites dont allow registration to check complete payment cycle for the subscription model. Can you please confirm if the subscription model built for https://theprint.in/subscribe/ is completely out of the box functionality or it has been customized by your developers. How much you would charge to get similar functionality?

We disabled the registration on our live websites, to avoid spam. The procedure for locked content and subscribing is simple. I will showcase the steps.

We also want to disable direct registration on our site. 2. If the amount is paid online through paypal, do we still need to manually active the plan or it will be done automatically. 3. Do you have any plan to integrate Razorpay for Indian market?
1. That isn’t possible unfortunately, there is no guest checkout. The visitors must create a subscriber account on the website, before making the payment. They must be subscribers. If you disable the registration in wordpress, the visitors can’t subscribe. To combat spam we provide an option to use recaptcha v3. A small part of the spam could however get through, and it may be needed to use an additional solution.
2. No, once the payment is done through PayPal or Stripe, the subscription is automatically active.
3. As far as I know there aren’t any immediate plans to add more payment methods in the plugin. We would like to add more of them, but I can’t say when this will happen unfortunately. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

your theme is not compatible with Elementor? when we edit page with elementor it gives error in console “Uncaught ReferenceError: tdConfirm is not defined” and elementor pages does not show any elements if elementor plugin is activated on your theme and tagdiv composer
if we disable the tagdiv composer or change theme to default then it works fine
which means elementor is not compatible with Newspaper theme or tagdiv composer

Pages that are built with Elementor should work fine if you edit them with Elementor. It is important to not mix the builders together, like for example editing an Elementor page with the composer, or the other way around. The theme demos and the content from the cloud library should only be edited with the composer. We strongly recommend using only the composer if possible. thanks for your reply, but the page I am talking about is completely build in elementor, actually we migrate the site from another theme and there were pages which was completely build in elementor and now we have to use newspaper theme so all the pages were build in elementor are not working when we try to edit those it gives error in console as I mentioned before “Uncaught ReferenceError: tdConfirm is not defined” and once we dispable tagdiv composer or change the theme those pages work fine.
please help we would love to use only one page builder but right now it’s not possible for us to rebuild all those pages in tagdiv because there are lot of elements missing in your page builder
i just checked, if i change the elementor page template to elementor canvas then it works fine and load all the elements but as you know there is no header and footer in elementor canvas page which means there might be some issue with your theme header or footer some js file is conflicting with elementor pages please check there should be a fix for that

I have observed one issue with the newspaper theme about DOM SIZE. As you know the theme is specially designed for news websites and news websites mostly long content homepages.
but when I create a homepage it makes a huge DOM size and shows in page speed insights error which affects the performance.
Elementor page builder has already launched a tool to reduce DOM size. do you work on the same to enhance the performance and reduce the DOM size? or have an alternate solution.
