first of all my license has expired but i noticed this problem with the theme on most pages. when i switch to mobile menu and click on mobile menu it shows up but then i am not able to hide the menu. For me it seems like js problem with off canvas.

Can you confirm if this issue only occurs when using an Android tablet and whether you’ve updated to the latest release (17.0.5)? We’ve included a change to the OCM style in this update, which should help prevent the issue.

Yes, the ThemeNectar website is also using the latest version of Salient. Since v17.0.5, we have not been able to replicate the issue on our end using a tablet. Could you please specify the tablet model you’re using and confirm whether you’re able to see the issue on smartphones as well?

Thank you for the response. I am considering the purchase but I mostly use Elementor because I felt WPBakery was a bit of a hassle. Can you edit with drag & drop and front-end only? Or would I need to go back and forth between front-end and standard WPBakery editing?

Thank you for that answer. Lastly, some themes have HTML blocks that can be put into carousel for custom content. Is this possible in Salient too? I don’t see a HTML block editor in the theme docs so just want to make sure this customability is there. Thank you!

Hello Team,
In the new WordPress update, version 6.7, we encountered numerous issues with the website. Before updating our site to this version, we tested it on localhost and observed these problems.
1. Firstly, the child theme doesn’t work at all. None of the functions, RTL, or other files meant to be loaded are functioning.
2. Secondly, most of the styles in the main theme’s RTL file are not applied, causing severe visual issues on the site.
What should we do? Do you think we should update the live site and then send the links of pages to the support team through a ticket so they can resolve the issues? Or can you create a test RTL site yourself and investigate the issues?

Thank you and yes you’re right. This is my personal account. I’ll open a ticket on the support forum with the account of the company that I work for, which has an active theme license and we’ll investigate the problem together there.
But overall, I’m still unsure why this is happening, especially since, contrary to the test you conducted, we are facing this problem.
I think the reason why the translations, functions, and other files I mentioned are not loading for us is that we are using Persian WordPress. We will look into it.

Our website is RTL, and we have currently set the Header Layout to the default Layout. Our site logo is now positioned on the right side of the header, with the other elements placed on the left. However, as shown in the image, our Top Navigation Menu is also placed on the left side of the header. How can we adjust it so that the menu appears on the right side, next to the logo?

Well, I tested the code you gave us today, but there is one problem! The issue is that, aside from the menu, all the other buttons such as the off-canvas menu button, the shopping cart, and the search button are also move to the right side, while they should be on the left side.

We offer the option to create a megamenu either through a simplified menu option interface, or by utilizing the page builder to create more complex mega menus – if you opt to use the page builder, you can built any structure in the same way you would build a page.

The theme typically removes padding when the last row on a page is set to full width, which appears to be the case for your setup. Therefore, something else must be preventing it from being removed. I would need to take a closer look at the page from the editor to assist. Feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards. In the latest update issue with touch-action is not fixed. On mobile you still can’t upscale website when using stack layout on post loop builder. in other words if you will open this demo https://themenectar.com/salient/portfolio-layered/ on iphone you would not be able to upscale the guys beard. As mentioned in our exchange regarding this, the `touch-action` property is explicitly set for the Y axis for that specific element to enable sticky positioning on mobile while also preventing horizontal overflow. If you prefer to enable zooming, the sticky effect would need to be disabled on mobile; otherwise, horizontal scrolling will still be possible. Hey, it’s not the ticket issue it’s a general salient issue – if you would add carousel slider to your demo https://themenectar.com/salient/portfolio-layered/ you wouldn’t be able to swipe the carousel on iphone more then one time because portfolio layout would overwrite touch-action.
past any content carousel slider from salient pre-built sections in this demo https://themenectar.com/salient/portfolio-layered/ and test it on iphone – you would not be able to move carousel more then 1 time on ios device.
I’ve tried to replicate that without success on an iPhone 13 and 15 using Safari: Video recoding.

On the checkout page, the amount is displayed twice, and I can’t remove it by using CSS. Additionally, the product image is also shown twice. I’ve disabled all caching plugins, but the issue persists.

Hey Eluvial, the social sharing options will only show if you have enabled the Salient Social plugin. If you do not wish to use it, you can simply deactivate it.

When using a global section as a mega menu, there is a hover issue. Even if you’re not hovering over the menu item, the drop-down activates at certain points close to your sticky header while scrolling down the page.
