When an image is uploaded as a block, multiple sizes of the image are generated. Is there a way to prevent this or address the issue?

Hi, Not sure if this is a bug or if I’m doing something incorrectly but if I set a rows padding to 5% (top and bottom) for desktop, 10% for tablet and 20% for mobile, then it uses the 10% for both mobile and tablet. (ie. the tablet overrides the mobile settings) It uses the 5% for desktop correctly. Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this. Thanks.

Hey ThemeNectar, I’m trying to create a grid layout with borders around content, similar to vercel.com. When I add borders (1px) to columns, the borders with neighboring columns double up. To fix this, I’ve been using -1px margins on columns and rows to make the borders overlap and appear as one.

Is there a better way to achieve this layout without needing the margin adjustments?

We already tried usaing the shortcode [list_team ids=”1,2,3”] but it didn’t work. So we installed WP Code snippets plugin and added the script function custom_list_team_shortcode($atts) { $atts = shortcode_atts(array( ‘ids’ => ’’, ), $atts); } add_shortcode(‘custom_list_team’, ‘custom_list_team_shortcode’); and then place the shortcode [custom_list_team ids=”1,2,3”] but this also didn’t work. So how can we call specific team items?

Just an idea for a future release: you could create a shortcode that prints all social media icons that are with URL in the backend. Many themes have this functionality and I find it strange that Salient doesn’t have it.

Example: [social_buttons type=”follow”]

This allows for adding to the toolbar / secondary header, footer and other segments of the site (especially with global sections)

Before buying this theme: a few customers of mine are looking into Salient, but they wonder if they can hook information before, after the add to cart button like accordions etc.? The documentation says no, but is there a way to manually hook this kind of things?
