I’m using the JNews theme with WordPress and WooCommerce to build a content platform. I aim to offer some posts as paid content, accessible through individual purchase or subscription, using direct bank transfer as the payment method.
Issues I’m facing:
The “Purchase” button on paid posts isn’t responding when clicked. I’ve set up direct bank transfer in WooCommerce but don’t know how to link WooCommerce products to individual posts in JNews. I need guidance on:
Setting up the paywall so users can purchase individual posts via bank transfer. Making the “Purchase” button function correctly. Linking WooCommerce products to specific posts in JNews. Any assistance or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for using JNews, to set the paywall please follow the documentation below
first please setup the payment at Dashboard > Woocommerce Settings > payments
for the payment, you can use PayPal, stripe, or woocommerce subscription
after setup the payment, you can create a product from
Dashboard > Products
if you are using PayPal or Stripe you can choose JNews Post Subscribe or JNews Post Unlock, if you are using Woocommerce Subscription you can choose a simple subscription for the product type
after you set the product, you can create a page to showcase the products, create a page from Dashboard > Pages edit the page with Elementor or WP bakery
in the editor add JNews – Post Paywall
edit the JNews – Post Paywall element, select the product that you’ve made
add product to post paywall element
save the page and assign the page subscription page or unlock the page from Dashboard > JNews Dashboard > Customize Style > paywall Option > general setting
on the Subscribe Redirect and Unlock Redirect options choose the page that you’ve made
subscribe redirect and unlock redirect
save the changes and then when the user clicks subscribe or unlock at the locked post they will be redirected to the page containing the Paywal products

I need assistance with the JNews Paywall setup.
1. I am not using PayPal, Stripe, or the WooCommerce Subscription plugin. I only use WooCommerce with direct bank transfer as the payment method.
2. I created a Simple Product in WooCommerce for a lifetime subscription.
3. I enabled “Set as Premium Post” on post edit pages.
4. I created a new page with the JNews > Post Paywall element and linked it as the Redirect page for Subscribe and Unlock in JNews Paywall settings.
5. I marked the test order as “completed,” but users still can’t access the premium posts.
My Goal: Users pay once and get lifetime access to all premium posts.
Despite following the instructions, it still doesn’t work as expected. If this feature is not possible, I will have no choice but to request a refund.
Please advise.
if you want to make the user only pay once and be able to access the posts for a lifetime
you can create products with product data JNews Post Unlock, and set the number of posts to unlock as high as possible, so the user will be able to unlock all the posts
unfortunately at this point, our paywall doesn’t support direct bank transfers, currently, we only support Stripe, PayPal, and woocommerce subscription

Hello, I use the theme for more than 3 years now and my support is —obviously— ended, but I need to add more details to an issue who someone published a few days ago in your forum (https://support.jegtheme.com/forums/topic/auto-load-scroll-post-no-ads-appearing/#post-150256) about the autoload post feature. This one is not loading for me some shortcodes with Ads too, other ads injected automatically from my Ads plugin (Advanced Ads), and other widgets where I use for YouTube videos. They only appear on the first and original post, but then every autoloaded post doesn’t show them. I hope you can fix this issue, and it would be appropriate if you implement some form where people (like me without “support”) just wanted to inform about issues in the theme. Thanks. Regards.

it is worth noting that the appearance of the ads is managed by Google based on various factors like ad inventory and relevance. Sometimes Google may not have enough relevant ads to fill all the slots at a given time.

The post in your forum was posted on November 25 with the title: “Auto load scroll post – no ADs appearing”. Please, search with that title and date. And in that post, you say to the user there is a bug with the autoload post plugin.

This is not an issue with the ads itself or the provider, is how the autoload plugin is not showing the same elements in the first / original post and the rest.

After reviewing the issue further, it appears there is a misunderstanding. The issue reported by the user in our forum involved inputting ad script code through Dashboard > JNews > Customize Style > Single Post Option > Auto Load Scroll Post Option > Autoload Ads Separator. In that case, there was indeed a bug in our input field for this specific option, and we will deliver a fix for it in the next update.
However, your case seems different. As in the video that we shared and observations from your site, the ads are appearing as expected on the autoloaded posts. If some ads do not appear As mentioned earlier, the appearance of ads is managed by Google and influenced by factors like ad inventory, relevance, and bidding conditions. There are times when Google may not fill all available slots. I recommend reaching out to Google AdManager Support for more insights on this behavior

Hi my support has lapsed but I’d like to point out that the Google Chart API for generating API codes no longer works as google has killed it off, but I fixed it myself by changing the URL in the plugin to ‘https://quickchart.io/chart?cht=qr&chs=300x300&chl=' instead of the ‘https://chart.googleapis.com/chart?chs=400x400&cht=qr&choe=UTF-8&chl=' in the social share widget so it works great as an alternative to the broken Google one. Thank you for a nice theme!
(Also there’s some init bug with the latest version of Wordpress that’s slowing it down)

I know how to get good performance but still a lot of library and when you add ads page take long time loading and 2 icon library in same place not good at all remove one

unfortunately at this point, we don’t have a feature for ad blocker detection, you can try to use a third-party plugin for this functionality

Just FYI as I was debugging my site – it showed this message.

please make sure the post status with the culture category is published, you can check the status of the post by editing the post and finding the status at the right sidebar in the post editor
please also try to disable the cache query option in dashboard > JNews Dashboard > Additional Option > Query Option > disable cache query , so the changes you made that related to the query filter will be applied immediately
