Is there a way to float an image like in this link (red EMPATHY WE CARE badge, for example)? I think it would be like a parallax object. Is there any way? Thanks in advance <3

Hey Ba-k!

You could use the column “Scroll Position Advanced” column animation type to move an element in that fashion: https://ibb.co/k182k6C

If you would like assistance in creating something similar to that, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards

Cheers

Hello, How can I remove the white background on search function on the product image. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IEPskZhekcy6f6jQ-2VHXkQGmHdoLv5E/view?usp=sharing

Hey asingh2404,

You can make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

#ajax-content-wrap div.product div.images .woocommerce-product-gallery__trigger {
   background-color: transparent;
   box-shadow: none;
}

Cheers

Thanks it worked!

You’re welcome, asingh2404 :)

Hi guys, after the update, I’m experiencing issues with the video background both in the self-hosted version and the YouTube version.

The self-hosted video appears small compared to the screen, while the YouTube video doesn’t display at all.

Here’s the link to the self-hosted video that’s uploaded and not functioning properly: https://www.birradelleremo.it/home-page-eremo-ecommerce-test-video/

Can you help us?

I’ve identified the issue. We initially disabled the speed optimizer plugin, and it started working. Then, we made some attempts with the plugin, and excluding the CSS minify seems to have fixed the problem.

Hey plasmedia, I’m glad that you were able to sort it. Did you also try to clear the cache/regenerate your minified styles before you excluded the CSS?

Kind regards

The Edit with WPBaker Page Builder page does not open.

It keeps coming out on Japanese pages

Hey rlaqhdud820, since that’s not a known issue can you kindly open a ticket on the support forum in regards so that we can follow up?

Thanks in advance

hello, are you going to add header builder? the ability to change header with a builder not just templates or some options? I really need a way to alter the header in mobile the way elementor does. full builder more where i can add/alter anything i want. if you dont plan to introduce that please suggest me how ican do that in your theme without changing anything else except the mobile header

Hey C_Drosos,

You can currently use the page builder to attach global sections within the header navigation, however, there isn’t an option yet to replace the entire header navigation with a global section. I’ve added your +1 to this idea on our wishlist.

Modifying the mobile header beyond what’s offered in the theme options would require changes via a child theme. Depending on what you need to add, this can likely be accomplished using hooks. We provide a specific mobile hook for appending content exclusively to the header on mobile devices.

Why doesn’t my ‘default sorting’ shape look the same as my hide filters shape? both should be as per the demo page https://themenectar.com/salient/ecommerce-robust/product-category/skincare/ but my ‘default sorting’ shape is rectangular and blocky and doesn’t have the rounded edges, it also has 2 up and down arrows and not the one down arrow as per the demo?

Hey bluecubeantony,

If you have confirmed that the ‘Enable Fancy Select Styling’ theme option is enabled in the Salient options under the Form Styling tab and have ruled out conflicts from third-party plugins, please share your website URL so we can review it and provide further assistance.

Thanks in advance

I have a question. How can I remove the following text in the footer section?

“Recording sounds in D.C. Copyright © 2019 Salient WordPress Theme. Built with love in New York All rights reserved.”

Hey rlaqhdud820,

You can edit or remove that widget text by going to Appearance > Widgets in the WordPress admin panel.

Kind regards

Hi. I have a question.

https://skhappiness.org/newsroom/#news https://skhappiness.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/s.jpg

How do I add a link to the thumbnail of a news list? Can you tell me how to do it? Thank you.

Hey mummy0217,

We’ll be including that by default in the next minor release. If you would like early access to the change, feel free to reach out via the contact form on my author page in regards.

Hello, I love your template. I have a few questions about the shop part.

1 – Is it possible to have a masonry presentation of the products? 2 – Is it possible to have the description, delivery and size guide to the right of the products and not below? 3 – Do you have the hotspot shop image function linked to the woocommerce product?

Thanks heaps, Sarah

Oh sorry, another question : Can I add a product video media featured as well ? :) sorry for all the questions, I know quiet well your template, but not for woocommerce option. :) I would like to buy it for the 14th times … ;)

Hey sarahadore,

1. There is currently no masonry layout option for product archives.

2. We offer the option to control the Product Tab Position, allowing it to display either on the side or below the product media.

3. You need to manually enter product links via HTML for each hotspot item.

4. We currently do not offer the option to use a video for product media; this functionality would require a plugin.

Kind regards

Hi support, just editing this lovely theme for a client. If you help me, is there a way on the shop WooCommerce page to insert “read more” for each product? Thanks in advanced, best reagrds. efe

Hey efe :)

That could be achieved by hooking into the `woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title` action via a child theme to append some custom content. If you would like assistance with that, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards.

Cheers

Thank you so much for your quick reply :) Will do just that…

Hello,

I have 3 issues I’m facing when readying my website for WooCommerce. https://shorturl.at/TpCPR

1. Website Loading Slow After installing WooCommerce, the website is slower, even on the front page. There’s noticeable lag.

2. Quantity Buttons Look Off On the Single Product page, the +/- quantity buttons don’t match the size of the “Add to Cart” button below. Can they be made the same size?

3. Mini Cart Border Issue In the Mini Cart, the product image and checkout button still have border radiuses even though I used custom CSS to remove them. Why is that happening?

Hey asingh2404,

If you have multiple questions or need help with customizations, we kindly ask that you use the support forum, as this is the best place for those requests. We’re happy to assist here with minor customizations or occasional questions outside of presale inquiries, but for more frequent help, the forum should be your go-to resource.

Hello,

I am thinking of buying your theme due to the Quantum demo (awesome work!). However, in the case study/portfolio item page, when you add more text (I did with inspect element), you get the effect that the images scroll first and only once the last image is reached, the text will start scrolling. I believe it’s more logical to have it reversed; first you let all visible text scroll, only then the images should scroll and only once that has finished, the entire page should scroll to the next section. I am quite familiar with WP Bakery/Visual Composer, but could not find a way to fix this. Do you have a custom solution to fix this issue or do you know what settings in WP bakery needs to be switched up in the left or right column to achieve the desired effect?

Cheers!

Hey posmantol, thanks for the kind words :)

Altering the scrolling functionality to work in that manner would require a JavaScript powered approach, which is offered as a configuration option within Salient.

Kind regards

You’re welcome and likewise! If I understand correctly, the option should be somewhere in Salient or ‘your’ WP Bakery builder? If for whatever reason I can’t find it or can’t get it to work, can you provide a custom fix through the helpdesk to reach the desired effect?

Hey posmantol,

Yes, it’s an option directly within the column settings in the sticky configuration: https://ibb.co/5FVfXPN

Kind regards

It’s a silly question but how can I get rid of these links at the beginning of each page?

https://prnt.sc/0gxNfo7ZpxD5

Hey Ba-k,

Are you using Yoast for your SEO plugin? If so, that’s an option you likely have enabled in your Yoast SEO plugin settings

Kind regards

thanks :D

You’re welcome, Ba-k :)

Hello. I have a question.
How can I move the content (widgets) in the entire footer area to the right on this site:
https://atlantchiropractic.com/

Like I have on the other one:
https://atlanthealthnyc.com/

Thank you.

Hey atlantchiropractic,

It’s inside of the your child theme’s style.css file, rather than the custom CSS box in the Salient options panel. The file exists at: https://atlantchiropractic.com/wp-content/themes/salient-child/style.css

Got it. Will check. Although have no idea how I could do that, since I am always afraid to touch anything unless I am 100% sure :) Thank you

You’re welcome, atlantchiropractic :)

I want to replicate the Nectar slider from your demo page https://themenectar.com/salient/elements/nectar-slider/# as I want to use the circle timer functionality you have on the right hand side but I can’t work out how to add this via the Nectar Slider settings? can you help please. Thanks

Hey bluecubeantony,

When editing the Nectar Slider page builder element, you can set “Bullet Navigation Style” to be “See Through – Autorotate Visualized” https://ibb.co/sFCsbYS

Kind regards

Brilliant thanks. Now how do it get my text to break so it doesn’t span all the way across as per the demo slider?

Hey bluecubeantony,

We added line breaks in the caption field when creating those slides. You can alternatively constrain your width automatically by using the `Slide Content Desktop Width` field in each slide as well.

Kind regards

I wonder why this Salient Template (https://paste.pics/SH1HY and https://paste.pics/SH1KC) is not working properly in my website, I only get this (https://paste.pics/SH1JL). I guess there is a reason, but I can’t find it. I imported the E-commerce ultimate demo, in a new installation. So I have some posts in the blog. But, nothing works, it is not displayed correctly. Can you help me? See here: https://jaimemaboutique.ca/guillaume-studio-sport/ at the bottom of the page. Thanks in advance!

Oh, I forgot to say hello. Sorry! So, hello! ;-)

Hey barreoblique :)

That template automatically sets values for the ‘Post Offset’ in each instance. You can adjust this parameter to align with your dataset. For the issue you’ve shown, you should remove the ‘Post Offset’ from the first instance and then stagger the values for the other two instances by smaller increments.

Kind regards

Hey guys, how can I use my own custom font? Ive tried a plugin, but cant select it?

Dont worry its all sorted

Hey richardwells,

I’m glad to hear you’ve sorted it :)

Kind regards

Hi,

I have 2 footer areas. In a laptop, it displays Footer Area 1 on the left and Footer Area 2 on the right. In a mobile it displays first Footer Area 1 and below Footer Area 2. Is it possible to change the order of the Footer Areas only for mobile. I want the footers to display as they do now in a laptop but I want Footer Area 2 to display first in mobile.

Thanks!

Hey, my apologies – the rule should be placed inside a media query, which I forgot to add! The correct snippet is:

@media only screen and (max-width: 690px) {
  #footer-outer .row {
    display: flex;
    flex-direction: column-reverse;
  }
}

Perfect, thanks!

You’re welcome, pablonieto :)

Hello,

I’m using the Salient theme, and I’ve noticed that the main navigation menu is rendered via JavaScript. However, I’m concerned that search engines like Google may not fully index or interpret this JavaScript-rendered menu. This can negatively affect SEO, as Google relies on static HTML for proper indexing of site navigation.

My Questions: How can I modify the menu so that it is rendered as static HTML directly in the page’s initial load? I want Google to be able to read the menu structure clearly without relying on JavaScript.

If the theme already has a built-in way to accomplish this, please guide me. Why is this important?

Static HTML menus improve SEO by ensuring search engines can fully understand the site’s navigation hierarchy. This is critical for crawlability, indexing, and delivering an optimal user experience. Many crawlers struggle with JavaScript-rendered content, which can lead to missed or incomplete indexing of navigation links.

What is the simplest way to achieve this without breaking the theme’s existing design or functionality?

If possible, I’d like to avoid heavy customization or editing core files. I’m okay with adding custom PHP code to a child theme or using a recommended method from your documentation.

Thank you for your assistance!

Hey DanielWeijers!

Salient does not rely on JavaScript to render header navigation items by default; everything is handled through PHP. However, if JavaScript is disabled and you have assigned an entrance animation to your header navigation, the animation will not trigger, but the navigation will still exist in the HTML. If your header navigation does not appear in the page source code, please share the website URL so we can investigate further.

Cheers

Hi,

Would it be possible to set the text reveal effect on hover in the navigation menu?

Regards, Mark

You’re welcome, Mark :)

You can make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

#top a .nectar-text-reveal-button__text:after {
  color: #ff0000;
}
.transparent #top a .nectar-text-reveal-button__text:after {
  color: #c4ff23;
}

Cheers

Thanks again!

You’re welcome, aftercoma :)
