I want to change the Course page style I can only choose from 3 styles but other are closed

Hello. Could you please let me know if the following is possible? With MasterStudy, I want to create a corporate training site. The courses will be free for users, but the companies they work for will pay a predetermined amount based on the number of employees using the platform, without relying on the website’s e-commerce functionality. Therefore, we need to be able to assign specific courses, from all the available ones, to each user. I would also like to know if it is possible to manually translate all the pages without using WPML or any other plugin. Thank you.

Courses cannot be both free and paid at the same time. However, in the course price settings, you can set the price to zero and include the course in a membership plan. MasterStudy LMS integrates with the Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro) plugin, which allows you to create membership plans tailored for corporate training. This setup enables companies to pay a predetermined amount, and their employees can access the assigned courses through their membership.

Additionally, it is possible to manually enroll students by entering their email addresses, giving you full control over assigning specific courses to individual users.

For translations, if your website is in a single language, you can use the Loco Translate plugin (free) to manually translate all the pages. However, if you plan to make your website available in multiple languages, you’ll need to use WPML to manage the translations.

Last update you did will be the reason why you will lose all Master Study customers and everyday you leave this update alive you will receive millions of complains , to be honest it’s the first time ever to see update destroy core functions of the themes 1- Downloadable product not working , it doesn’t show links of download product 2- Certificate page destroyed and turn into black thats the worst update ever happened , come one guys you’re better than this to do update destroy the main functions of the theme. Yes the speed is improved and many things great added but as developer we don’t destroy core functionality and we always test every inch before pushing the release version it’s a b c to any developer . you wasted the effort that you did by not testing the theme before publishing it.

Hello guys. Have you noticed that your recent update is breaking the “Certificate Page”. When you visit the certificate page to download your certificate, the page returns blank. Our students have been complaining of this issue and we’ve updated the theme and plugins to the latest one. Meanwhile, the certificate is only downloadable when you go back to the course page. What could be the issue please? This needs to be resolved on time.

In the latest update, downloadable products are no longer working correctly. They are being treated as courses, and when someone purchases a downloadable product, instead of being shown the download link as before, they are directed to a “thank you” page that tells them to “go to course.” There is no longer an option to download the product! How can I resolve this issue? I can’t wait for a new update— Please let me know what I can do; I really don’t want to revert to an older version.

I think you can do it in the source code by adding IF & Else. If (Downladble Product): Show (Woocomerce Page) Else (Thank you Page) I don’t know in Wordpress code I’m just trying to help you in solving it . if there’s another way please tell me what can I do because every hour this bug exists It harms me so much.

One potential workaround would be to disable the WooCommerce option for courses and set up default payment methods instead. However, please keep in mind that using this setup means orders won’t be recorded in WooCommerce.

If you’re comfortable making modifications in the source code, your idea of adding an `IF` and `ELSE` logic could be a solution. While we don’t directly support custom code changes, we recommend working with a developer to ensure everything functions smoothly and please make sure you are doing it in a child theme.

Please how do i give an Assignment to a Group of students in a course not to ALL students taking the course?

1. Theme and Plugins: Make sure your theme and all bundled plugins are updated to their latest versions.

2. One-Time Purchase: Check if the “One-Time Purchase” option is enabled. Included in Membership: Verify that the “Included in Membership” option is disabled.

3. Once you’ve reviewed these settings, try entering “0” in the price field instead of leaving it empty.

I can see in the front end of the site that courses are labelled “free”.

I also think that you must uptodate your documentation about MasterStudy.

I do not want to create membership plans now, so I uninstalled Paid Membrrship Pro. Could I get some troubles with my site because of that ?

I’m currently using this theme for my website. 10 out of 10 for the features you have added to this wonderful theme but I’ve noticed that the loading speed is quite slow (around 25 seconds). The site is hosted on a VPS with adequate resources, so I’m wondering if this is a known issue with the theme, or if there’s something specific I should adjust to improve performance.

Additionally, I’m looking to link a specific course on the website directly to a Udemy course, without using the Udemy importer. Is there a recommended method to do this with the theme, or would I need to implement a custom solution?

I was using a very old version of the theme. After updating I noticed that some things are not the same as before. I only show the courses of two categories on the home page, I don’t want other courses to appear here. I used Courses Grid to do this and selected only the categories I wanted to show. Now the Courses Grid says old and the course images are cropped in a way I don’t like. I haven’t found a way to fix this. What is an alternative to Courses Grid that I can make it list only the categories I want.
